was hoping for some feedback on my keyblade as well as some tips on how to make it better.

this is a personality represent

the thorns and heart design represent how protective my character is of her heart. almost as if she covers her heart in thorns to keep others at bay.

I'm thinking of coming up with a special attack involving vines but I'm not sure.

My favourite part of the design is the heart shape surrounding the handle and the keychain, I think they look really nice. I like the concept of the thorns surrounding the Keyblade as well . I’m presuming the pole is meant to be a vine and the thorns are growing out of the vine ( it’s not coloured in so I’m finding it a bit hard to tell). One idea I had is that perhaps you could take the thorns off the pole and instead have a vine with thorns wrapped around the big heart instead as some sort of symbolism of “her heart in thorns” idea you mentioned.

It’s a bit hard to offer any more feedback without knowing what colour everything meant to be as it makes it harder to visualise it in my opinion. Also a special attack involving vines would be cool ( maybe a Keyblade form change like the Keyblades in KH3 ) If you haven’t got any ideas you could probably get some inspiration from some of the attacks Marluxia uses during the data battles.
