No, it's mainly because they haven't gone further in developement in the game quite yet. They are busy working on other games as well like FF Agito XIII, The third birthday,ect.

Well there's very little info on it because it hasn't been in development that long, so there isn't really much to give out yet.

^ This. Except Agito and T3B are irrelevant since those are being developed by other teams. The Osaka Team is developing 3D, but they couldn't really start until after BBSFM and Re:coded were done, which was probably around October.

Re:coded's probably undergoing the final stages of localization right now, and that's all done overseas, as in, not in Japan. Development's been going on for like, 1-2 months already.

The 3DS is due to be released in Japan in February. It's been completed for a while and is just waiting to be shipped out. Developers don't have to wait like the public in order to get these things.

the 3DS is said to have the same graphics as the X-Box 360 and PS3. So, the graphics should be in really good quality.

Part of the reason why they are not revealing much of 3D is because of the info ban. The other part of the reason is because the 3DS isn't even released yet.

Just wait until they finish releasing Re:coded English, Birth by Sleep Final Mix and the soundtrack.
