What happens when the world ends? A group of teens find out. Heaven isn't as beautiful as it's made up to be--it's ravaged by war and lies. They were taken away from their lives to help defeat the "evil". Their bodies live and breathe, but are empty shells. The real souls of the teens are in the sky, told they need to fight and win if they ever want to live again.

 

Outfitted as angels with wings and golden armor, these angels, the "Skylights", are outmatched, and they know it. The Skylights have but one power, while their enemies one as well, but are numerous. Yet these teenagers will have to defeat the evil "Sunbreakers", if they ever plan on making it home. If they don't make it, the only other option is to suffer in Hell for eternity.

Whoever wants to begin~

Jakob woke up. He saw Hunter and Echo. He turned into an owl and flew there. He turned into a human.

Ashes...

Burning....

Fire......

Air...

Water....

Devil.

He moved his neck in an up and down fashion, as if he was nodding. He felt his bones crack. Jakob walked towards Echo and said, " What is this place???"

Sophie pressed her lips together. She wanted to ask, but thought better of it. She already knew none of them had a clue as to what was going on. Sophie, instead, decided maybe she should figure it out for herself. That girl seemed to have an idea of where they were, at least. Maybe her mother WAS here, but farther inside? "I-I'm going to.. look around." She murmured.

 

"What f*cling ever. Mind your own buissiness, Bookworm. First impressions go both ways." Tyler sneered before laying his head back. His room was too noisy because of the nearby despises partying in their own. Sometimes he needed a break. And, honestly, for Tyler, sleeping on a lumpy sofa with some wierdo was much funner.

Mary turned "I can give you the gran tour! C'mon!" Mary started to walk through another door.

 

Echo shrugged then followed her little sister.

So she doesn't hate me. . .

Jakob ran...and ran..and ran...he was scared....he was scared....What if he didn't follow their orders. Was it a dream?

"SOMEONE PLEASE HELPME! PLESAE!!!!" He yelled.

Aleksander couldn't help but giggle. Yes giggle.

"Me? A bookworm?" He laughed again. "I simply just had nothing better to do. Everyone around here is quite boring. Either that or they just give me strange looks and walk away." Aleksander frowned. "The higher ups don't approve my attire."

He didn't see anything wrong with what he wore. He looked nice. Pretty. But the generals they weren't suited for a young male adult.

Jakob jumped off the window.

"Long live...Jak-"

He felt his face hit the cement. He felt dead. He opened his eyes again, and he was at the same place...his own dreams...

"I don't....I don't want to stay..." Jakob whispered.

He was nothing....He was only a fragment...left to die....

"I'm...going to...free...my soul...but I will turn...into dust...nothing..."

He had no heart...no mind...nothing went with him...nothing....nothing....

"My destiny...my heart...my...body...are all gone..." he whispered under his breath.

He was only a ball. A ball of nothing. Neither light or dark. Not even twilight...

 

Outside his little ball, his body got up...possessed.

He raised up his hand and became a man, and went inside the building,

"Free my soul...." the body kept on screaming...while it echoed all around.

Destiny slowly opened her eyes. For a second there, she thought she had died or something. Destiny stood and saw people flocking towards her. Well, she could understand. It was a amazing to have been hit like that and be perfectly... fine? Destiny checked herself for bruises or anything, she found nothing. Well, she did find silver wings on her back that freaked her out to no end. But, right now Destiny wondered why they kept flocking to her or just staring at her in fear, she was perfectly fine.

Destiny then followed the eyes of the on lookers and stared at the ground. Her eyes felt like they would pop out her head any minute. Her body was mutilated and blood was everywhere. If she was dead and she had wings, was she an angel? She shook her head of those thoughts. Destiny had to ask somebody, anybody what was going on. She turned to the woman closest to her and frantically asked "Can you help me?!". The woman ignored her and was more focussed on her corpse. "Ma'am please!! Can you help me back inside my-!" The woman passed through Destiny and continued with what she was doing. Destiny stood frozen as more and more people passed through her and toward the corpse. Tears filled Destiny's eyes and she ran the rest of the way to the hospital passing through the doors and people in her way. She had to get to Josh. To see if he was okay.

Destiny burst into his room out of breathe. If she was dead, why did become tired so fast? As Destiny approached Josh's sleeping form she smiled, he was cute when he slept. Destiny reached to caress his face only to have it faze right through his cheek. Destiny let the tears flow onto her cheeks. Destiny started to sniffle and wipe her tears away only to have them replaced by new ones. "If no one can notice me . . . then I must be dead. And I can't get back inside my body." Destiny continued rubbing her tears away as her wings started to flap involuntarily and she flew out the hospital and toward an unknown destination.

When Destiny finally managed to control her tears and noticed she was flying. Where was she going?! Why was she flying?! and what was going on!?!?!? Without the answers to any of those questions, Destiny landed outside a building, tired and confused. She sighed, if she was truly dead then it wouldn't hurt to check out this place. Destiny walked into the building through an opened door and down a hallway. Destiny heard voices and walked toward them. Even if they couldn't see her, she felt a tinge of hope that they could. I mean, her wings DID send her here.
