The official Japan Twitter account for Final Fantasy VII Remake has released new artwork commeorating the Kingdom Hearts franchise's 20th anniversary! Cloud is depicted akin to the Sora on the original Kingdom Hearts box art!

Earlier this year, Square Enix shared Kingdom Hearts art celebrating Final Fantasy VII's 25th anniversary.

So, Sora was drawn in Cloud's pose in Midgar for the 25th anniversary of FFVII and they return the favor by having Cloud drawn in Sora's pose based on the boxart of KH in Hollow Bastion for the 20th anniversary for Kingdom Hearts.

Wow, lookin good! Happy birthday KH! 

They should have put Vincent's cape on Cloud to reference his KH self, but I guess folks would think Vincent will be in Part 2. lol

Correction: It is not Hollow Bastion. It is Traverse Town.

Since someone made this mistake after (I assume) playing the game then others will have as well, so Rob will just preemptive strike this ("TRAV" for Traverse Town is right next to Roxas feet) a potential back and forth:

Oh man i saw that and was allready hyped for a new game i have been thirsty lately for new big Kingdom Hearts content 

Looks amazing though i wonder if there is gonna be an all new cloud (remake cloud if you will) in kh seperate from old cloud
