with kh2, i remember seeing magazine scans. I remember getting super excited seeing pictures of the Pirates of the Carribean world.

I did run into a spoiler online though in the period between the japanese and english releases, the one where we found out "ansem's" true identity.

1 and 2 were already out when i got into the series. my cousin brought it over to play and I'd watch him here and there but never had my own ps2 for a while. i ended up getting CoM as my first game to play, and then eventually got all 3 ps2 games together when i started making my own funds

KH1 and chain of memories were out when I got into the series.

I was a teenager then and going to the game store and seeing the cover of kingdom hearts intrigued me. I had limited access to the internet then and I didn't know what it was. I remember thinking "why is donald and goofy hanging out with anime characters" lol

little did I know I would board the train to Nomura's Wild Ride lol

this is a cry for help.

A small part of me honestly thought, that, regardless of how good it was or wasn't, that I'd be able to walk away from KH after 3. And for a time? I did. Didn't play KH at all until Remind and I haven't played 2 since 3 came out.

Weird dumb peraonal reasons but mostly I was just "KH'd out" by the end.

I think that's why I've handled the period of time between Remind to now good until now- I needed time.

problem is now I'm starting to feel just the slightest twinge of impatience again 🥲

My theory on the card is kinda shaky cause I think it'll be Sora's key to getting out, but I also think thats what the Box is for- I think the Box is MoM's portal back to the real world

Course if that's the case, then the card is rendered a bit redundant
