His father looked up at him.

"Dad..." His father dropped the sword with a clang. Quentin slowly hugged him.

"You're mother would be proud." he said, Quentin nodded. he felt a tear slip. Azura smiled. Suddenly everything got dark. Quentin let go, his father looked up. Quentin stood next to Azura, her hand went in his.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Quentin said, suddenly Quentin saw the darkness, there was a strange aura around the ground. Quentin gripped the pistol in his holster... Ashton looked up and summoned his keyblade. Azura did he same, she gripped Quentin's hand tightly.

Dark shadows were forming all around them.

'Little did we know... that was just the begginning.'

Yellow eyes rose up from the liquid like creature, a guard tried to attack one, he touched it and then fell down, his heart went out. The other guards were smarter to use weapons. Ashton slashed at one of them, and then used a strike raid on another.

 

Quentin saw all of this and his father on the floor.

"Azura, you and Ashton need to get out of here, I need to help my father." Quentin said, she looked at him.

"Azura, go-" She kissed him.

"Good work" Hades said, Quentin nodded, they wake dout of the area before more heartless came.

"So how long has the brotherhood been around?" Quentin asked, Hades looked at him.

"It's a secret organization that's been around for roughly 30 years, Nagoto started it that long ago, in fact I only joined 5 years ago." He said, Quentin nodded.

"So we're both the most recent additions?" quentin asked, Hades nodded.

"Yes, I can summon powerful heartless, you are capable of destroying them, Nagoto sees these abilities as useful, but I see them as a curse." He said, Quentin looked at him.

"Why's that?"

"You see, Before i joined the brotherhood, I had these... powers, I could create dark beings that would rampage and destroy everything... I had no control... I could never approach anyone, because the heartless would either scare them off or kill them." He said, Quentin nodded.

"And then Nagoto?"

"He saw these powers as a worthy addition and I joined him... I sometimes regret it." Hades said, Quentinn felt sorry for his new friend. He now knew that some members of the Brotherhood, weren't confortable with what they were doing.

"I'm sorry." Quentin said, Hades nodded.

"It's alright, let's head back." Hades said forming a portal.

Azura walked around and saw the heartless.She for some strange reason.Didn't summon her blade.The heartless crept in.Suddenly they jumped.Azura threw her blade and it destroyed the heartless.Azura ran back into the castle and satted down on the sofa.She looked at the frozen flowers and sighs.She turns on the TV on the news."On latest news.There has been numerous creatures attacks around the east..."The news lady says.

Quentin and Hade walked in, they were back at HQ. Quentin approached Nagoto.

"Master, he is no more." Quentin said, Nagoto nodded,

"Very good." He said. It was around 8. He looked at Quentin.

"Hm, you may head to your quarters to rest, or find some way to spend your freetime." He said. Quentin nodded. He left and walked over to another room. He sat by the table thinking to himself.

"Maybe I should visit Azura since I have time?" Quentin wonderred.

Azura kept watching the news witch only presented the usual.Azura looked out the window.She turned off the TV and went outside."Everything's so peaceful here..."Azura says.She looks at the mountains."(I wish I could go back home...)"Azura thinks.She sighs and decides to go to the garden that she went yesterday with Quentin.She started to walk but without notecing,ice was being formed everywhere she stepped.

"Why not." Quentin said forming a portal. He was now infront of the garden he went to with Azura, it seemed colder, it was winter but this was very unusual. Quentin walked into the garden, Azura was looking around at the ice. Quentin slowly walked over to her, she turned to him and smiled.

"I got done with my mission early, figured I come out and see you." Quentin said, she blushed.

Azura blushes.Quentin satted besides Azura.It was getting freezing cold.But Azura didn't seem to notice at all."I'm glad that you finished early."Azura says blushing.She got a rose and freezed it.She gave it to Quentin.And then suddenly it just turned a few degrees colder.Azura looked at Quentin and kissed him in the lips.He kissed back.But then he slidded and fell down because his seat had turned into slippery ice."You OK?"Azura asks.

"Er I guess." Quentin said. He slowly got up.

"These powers of yours are getting a bit out of hand." Quentin said, they looked around the garden and saw a bunch of the plants were frozen. They slowly walked out holding hands. Her's felt cooler. Quentin was explaining the time in the brotherhood, and Azura listened.

"Anyways this guy Hades, he's uncomfortable with the brotherhood... he's very different from some of the members." Quentin said, Azura nodded.

"So, how's Ashton been?"

"Ashton has been fine."Azura says.She blushes and looks at the sky."(This power...I don't get it.Where is it coming from really.I remember that the power of ice was part of the heritege of the royal family.But I'm not suppouse to get it until I get the blessing of the moon in the ritual.Then how come I'm having this over load of it?)"Azura thinks.She looks back and notices ice on the floor.

"Well... that's strange." Quentin said, he started noticing ice on his hand, he used a smal fire spell to melt it away. They kept walking. Ice kept following them.

"I don't remember reading about the Lunar Knights being this out of control with they're powers." Quentin said, Azura looked at him for a moment.

"Where is Ashton anyways? Does he just hang around that castle all day?" Quentin asked. (I would expect Ashton to suddenly appear behind Quentin or something)

Ashton then appeared behind of Quentin.'' Hey. Haven't seen you in awhile.''said Ashton as he sat on Azura's side.'' Is it really true Quentin. Are you really part of brotherhood.''asked Ashton. Ashton was worried whats going to happen now since Brotherhood is getting out of hand and maybe they would attack Azura and Ashton.

"Yes... I'm the new Number 7." Quentin said, Ashton gasped.

"They forced me to give into darkness... It's not all bad... but still." Quentin said, he formed green flames in his hands, he then extinguished them.

"They made me join... or else they'd hurt you guys... I need to kill targets that have taken control of heartless... Have you heard in the news about reports of an Assassin?" Quentin asked.

'' Yes we have. Don't tell me. Are you him?''asked Ashton as he was worried that Quentin might turn evil. Quentin nodded.'' I see. Well Either way. Me and Azura will still be your friends.''said Ashton as he simled.

-meanwhile-

Nagoto,Angel,Gaia,Hades,And Riza got ready.

'' So. We attack and kill right.''asked Angel.

'' Yes.''said Hades.

'' Lets go. Quentin has became unless to brotherhood.''said Nagoto as they all turned into feathers and appeared a few miles away from the North kingdom.

"Thanks..." Quentin said, he sensed something strange. He looked out and saw five bikes, all with familiar faces.

"We are no longer in need of your services Victor." Nagoto said, Quentin looked at him.

"What do you mean? I still have targets." Quentin said, Nagoto laughed.

"The brotherhood believes you to be weak, and unneeded." Nagoto said, Riza went towards them. she had a sword in the one hand. Quentin immediately blocked and knocked her off the MotorCycle. Quentin jumped on, Azura jumped on, and Ashton got into a little attachmentseat on the side. (like that one motor cycle in Wallace and Grommit.) They started driving away.

"I'm unemployed, this is great." Quentin said sarcasticly, Ashton told him to shut up and drive. Quentin nodded and kept going.

he saw Angel gaining, Quentin used Dark Firaga and birned her Tires, Sparks were erupting. She seemed to be the only one chasing them, they got out of the city, Quentin felt his side get cold.

"Do either of you know where to go?" Quentin asked,

-Meanwhile-

Do we go after them Master?" Gaia asked, NAgoto looked at him.

"Don't underestimate Victor, he's very tricky, And I sense he's outta town right now, well find him evenually but lets return to HQ to plan this out." Nagoto said enterring a portal, the others did so as well.

Azura held on and thinks."(This could be my chance to go to the south kingdom.Maybe...maybe we could use the hidden barracks or the laberinth.Anything to fight against them...)"Azura thinks.She looks at Ashton and then at Quentin.She looks down."Maybe...maybe,we could go to the South Kingdom?"Azura suggested.Quentin looked at her.Ashton looked at Quentin to see what he had to say.

"...Seems a bit far... alright, but Ineed to check something on the way." Quentin said, Ashton nodded. They kept driving. Eventualy they got half way there and they neared Set's destroyed castle, parts of it was still together but other parts were in rubble. Quentin parked the bike and got off. He slowly walked in.

"Maybe there's something here." Quentin said, he removed his hood. He walked through, he was in a hallway... he rememberred when he was five, playing around here, his father just established this castle, only the north stood in the way. Quentin's memory was wiped and taken out of the place and smuggled into the northern Village of Nebraska... his mother died five years earlier causing this chain of events... Quentin walked through and saw an old monitor... it was cracked and broken.

Azura looked around the castle and walked carefully.She carefully walked around trying to trip on something or get hit by a falling piece of the almost destroyed castle."This is where he lived...isn't it?"Azura asks to herself.She got to a library type of room."Hm...was this his office?"Azura asks.She walked in and saw a bunch of plans all stacked in a specific order on a rack.She saw one that said 'South Kingdom'.She took it and started to read it.

Quentin looked at the screen.

Ten Years Ago...

Five year old Quentin ran through the hallway for the billionth time, he didn't really have anyone to play with but his father made time to play with him. His father Set was currently at his desk discussing with war admirals over combatting the North Kingdom. He was also studdying files over the royal Family. Quentin looked at the screen and saw a picture of a girl his age, she had light brown hair, a tiara, and a blue dress, Quentin had never seen a girl like this. He stared at the picture, his father then cycled through another picture and another, then there was a picture of a boy with black hair. His father was talking.

"So the girl's still alive?" He asked the monitor.

"Yes, reports say she was smuggled into the north Kingdom from the south, she has been there for about a year." The admiral said, Set put his hand to his head.

"She might cause a problem and gain sympathy for the North, we need to make sure she dies this time-"

"She's pretty." Quentin said looking at the picture. Set turned and looked at him. Did this mean Quentin has a crush on Princess Azura? Regardless it seemed unusual. He smiled a bit.

"Son..." he then turned to the admiral.

"Do you have the plans I sent you?" He asked, the man nodded.

"Good, I want a full report of our infantry units by tomorrow morning." he said, the man saluted. The screen went black, Set turned towards Quentin. Set then looked at the picture of the girl.

"Yes, she is pretty." He said, Quentin nodded. He then turned off the monitor.

"C'mon son, it's time you go to bed." He said getting off. Quenin slowly nodded.

"Alright." Quentin said following his father to his room. He sat on his bed and Set read him a story.

 

 

Quentin slowly looked at the monitor, then saw a laptop on the table next to it, he slowly openned it. the screen was cracked and broken... Quentin closed it.

"...Dad." Quentin said, he slowly got up and remembered the way to his father's room, he walked in.

Azura saw the plan.It was a complete,scetched and perfectly plan to invade and destroy the south kingdom.There was even a speciallized plan to kill the royal family."What a human being is willing to do...for the loss of someone."Azura says as she closes the plan and puts it back.Then she saw a book.She took it and opened it.It was like a diary.She went through the pages."This thing is from his teenege years...and it still has blank pages."Azura says.She read one of the pages.

 

" 'Today I saw her again.For some reason,she looked more beautiful than ever.But she always looks beautiful.I can't get the nerve to ask her out.But I will soon.I just need to plan it out...' "Azura reads.

 

She passes the pages and reads another page.

 

" 'With her gone.Everything has gotten dull for me.I almost lost the want of living.But I have Quentin to take care of.He's the light of my eyes right now.And he reminds me of her.I will protect him.I will train him to become strong.I will make sure that his future is bright.As soon as my plans are finished.I'll be the ruler of the kingdoms.And he will be when he gets enough age.He has just a bright personality.He's just a joy to have.He's perfect.Just like his mom...' "Azura reads.

 

Her eyes soften."He really cared for him...more than anything."Azura says.

Quentin slowly walked into the bed room, the only parts that weren't dusty was the bed, the room seemed untouch except for the bed. Quentin slowly walked over to it, he saw an old photo on the stand, it a Wedding photo. Of Set and a women in her mid twenties around Set's age, she had long light brown hair in contrast to Set's darker brown. It was Quentin's mother... Mira. Uncle Kazac was his best man.

He remembered his father telling him about his mom in his stories... Quentin examined the picture more.

Ten years ago...

Quentin sat down on the bed. Set tucked him in.

"Tell me more about mom." He said, Set smileld and nodded.

"...You're mother was a charismatic woman, she was brave and rebellious. We went to high school together, she was never really the popular type, Although she had many friends... We dated for a while and then split up due to college. She was intrested in Teaching, me... politics." He said, Quentin nodded.

"We met afew years later and got back into dating... We married two years later, then another two years later we had you." He said he then frowned because of what hapenned four days later...

"That's all for tonight son." He said, he sat up and slowly left tthe room.

"Do you want the light on?" He asked at the door, Quentin shook his head. He nodded and closed the door.

'Mom... what happenned to you?" Quentin wonderred.

 

Quentin slowly put the picture down. He then openned a drawer and found an old scrapbook, he openned it up and there were some highschool pictures, there were red circles around the pictures of Set Victor and Mira Williams. Quentin flipped afew more pages, there were other pictures of his parents together... Quentin closed the book and examined more of the room.

Azura kept reading.She found one specific page.

 

" 'Quentin is gone.The one thing I cared for the most in this life,is gone.I feel empty.Both of them are gone.I just want to die.But I can't.Not yet.The south,east and west kingdom are defeated.Only the north is left to conquer.After that.The kingdoms will be under one ruler.' "Azura reads.

 

"Oh dear..."Azura says.She decides that she had read enough and puts the diary down.She kept looking around.There were maps of the cities and kingdoms,plans for weapons and machinary and many other things involving about the war and conquer.She got to find the Royal Family Files.The folder had big red capitalized letters that said.'CLASSIFIED'.Azura opened it anyways.She was imprssed how much information Set had about the royal families.She saw the south kingdom file."Azure Stargazer.Marina Hoshi."Azura says as she reads her parents name in the file.

Quentin slowly put the book im his backpack. He looked around and saw some more books.

"Single Parenting for men, Children, etc" Quentin saw one more book, he openned it and saw pictures of himself... so many memories of himself suddenly came back to him. He put the book down and then left the room. He left the room and walked into a file room. Azura was busy reading a file on the Southern Kingdom.

"What's that you got there?" Quentin asked, he sat down next to her.

Azura looked at him for a few seconds and then returned her gaze at the file."Some of your dad's files.This one is from the southern kingdom.I'm impressed.He has quite the information here.The round number of our troops.The history of my family.Even the history of the Luna KnightsEven some things that no one outside the royal family should know.Heck,there's even some things here that I didn't knew."Azura says.She reviews it over and over again."Like that my father agreed to design and build weapons for Set to use in the conquer of the kingdoms if Set promised to keep me,mom and the kingdom out of it.But then Set betrayed him.Dad only did it to protect his kingdom.Set only did it to avenge you and your mom I guess."Azura says."Every heart has a bit of darkness that takes over depending of the emotions and events happening."Azura says as she puts the file down on a table.

"Yeah..." Quentin said, he slowly looked at the file.

"Hm... I thought Set said that the south was already planning to betray him?" Quentin said, Azura shrugged. Quentin looked through his father's journals.

"Wow dad..." Quentin said. He held onto these old journals from highschool, college, and the elections... Very extensive. He looked towards Azura who was studying files.

'It's a major coincidence that because of our parents, we should hate eachother, and yet... I've never felt this wasy for anybody...' Quentin thought.

"I'm glad we ended up alright considering our dads." Quentin said, Azura nodded and looked towards him. He slowly kissed her.

Azura blushed and kissed him back.They kept kissng for a while and then broke the kiss.They looked into eachother's eyes.They smiled.Azura looked outside.It was already night."Maybe we should stay here for the night.And get going tomorow.or we could stay here for a few days.It's your choice..."Azura says.They steared at eachother for a while.Azura kissed him.He kissed back.

"Maybe just for tonight, then we better get moving." Quentin said, she nodded. They setted down the files and left the room.

'Where's Ashton?' He thought. Azura had trouble looking for a room. He lead her to his parents old room.

"This'll be fine." He said, she nodded. She picked up his parents old wedding photo and then sat it down, she looked at him. He blushed for a moment.

"Er do you want me to stay or find another room?" Quentin asked.
