His father looked up at him.

"Dad..." His father dropped the sword with a clang. Quentin slowly hugged him.

"You're mother would be proud." he said, Quentin nodded. he felt a tear slip. Azura smiled. Suddenly everything got dark. Quentin let go, his father looked up. Quentin stood next to Azura, her hand went in his.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Quentin said, suddenly Quentin saw the darkness, there was a strange aura around the ground. Quentin gripped the pistol in his holster... Ashton looked up and summoned his keyblade. Azura did he same, she gripped Quentin's hand tightly.

Dark shadows were forming all around them.

'Little did we know... that was just the begginning.'

Yellow eyes rose up from the liquid like creature, a guard tried to attack one, he touched it and then fell down, his heart went out. The other guards were smarter to use weapons. Ashton slashed at one of them, and then used a strike raid on another.

 

Quentin saw all of this and his father on the floor.

"Azura, you and Ashton need to get out of here, I need to help my father." Quentin said, she looked at him.

"Azura, go-" She kissed him.

Quentin looked out.

"Mom... what should I do?" Quentin asked. He heard a voice echo to him.

"Do what you feel is right." It said. Quentin nodded.

"Dad... he'll have answers." Quentin said. he rememberred his father and uncle were in the west. he went over to Azura.

"My father will have answers Azura." Quentin said, she looked at him and nodded.

He quickly got Ashton to pack up.

"Alright, I'll open up a corridor we'll go through." Quentin said openning up a portal. He got on the bike, Ashton got into th side car, Azura got behind him. Quentin kick started the bike and went into the portal. They were in the west now, the portal dissipated. they were in a desert. Azur asked why didn't they go directly and Quentin answerred.

"Because then the brotherhood could use it to track us down if we spend to much time there." Quentin said, she nodded. they started moving. It was night.

The cold wind of the night time desert hitted their face as they went towards their destination.Azura looked upfront.She asked Quentin where exactly were they heading.He said that towards the castle.Since that's where they were hiding.Azura noded.After about half an hour the castle and kingdom was finally at sight.After a few minutes they get there.All of them get off.Azura looks at the motor cycle."It's almost out of fuel.We'll need to re-fuel it soon."Azura says.They noded and entered teh castle.They see Set sitting on a sofa."Quentin."Set says.

"Father." Quentin said, Azura and Ashton stared at him with hate.

"Er guys, how about you go out and refuel the bike." Quentin said, they nodded. Quentin looked at his father.

"I've seen the things you've done... Why?" Quentin asked Set stood up.

"I wanted the best for you... those kingdoms were bad news, we invaded the eastern kingdom and made a treaty with the south... They only agreed to make weaponry however, we decimated the west and then started catching our breath. I found out from a spy that King Azure was planning to betray me... I did what I could and took over his country." He said, uncle Kazac walked in and sat down.

"You wanted to hurt Azura, to kill her... why?" Quentin asked, Set looked at him.

"She was dangerous, she could cause an uproar from the south, she had to be silenced or else... when she's older she'd help spark rebellion." He said. Quentin looked at him.

"I love her... I'm glad she got out." Quentin said, Set nodded.

"I feel happy for you son, you always did look at her picture when I was discussing plans with the admirals." He said. Quentin nodded.

"Take care of her, any moment you have together could be your last." He said, Quentin nodded.

"So is it true... are you that assassin for the brotherhood?" He asked, quentin nodded.

"I was... then they no longer neede me and betrayed me... I got out with the others, it really bothers me though."

Quentin said, Set nodded.

"Well your no longer part and that's all that counts... however I may need you and your friends help." He said, Quentin looked at him.

"What do you mean?" Quentin asked.

"The Heartless are getting out of control.They are completetly taking over.They have taken over the east kingdom.Now they're taking over slowly trough out the kingdoms.Someone is controling them.And it is not the Brotherhood nor their targets.It's something that's not even human.That I am sure of.I investigated around in the library,and I found another of predition of the old man that warned us about the Heartless."Set says.He picks up a scroll from the table."I belive he wrote this the day before his death.And kept here for safe keeping."Set says as he hands over the scroll to Quentin.

 

~Meanwhile~

Azura and Ashton were re-fueling the motor cycle.

Quentin read through it.

"Beings of nothing, will rise up, they shall control the heartless, we may try to sway them,, but it will not work, for they lack the hearts to understand." Quentin read, it ended there. He looked to his father.

"We need to deal with these heartless and beings of nothing." Quentin said, the man nodded.

"Yes, we have put together groups to combat the heartless, firt we need to save the west, then continue until we've clensed the north, south and all that lies in between. Then we will be able to invade the east and take back the land." he said, Quentin nodded.

"Where do we come in?" Quentin asked.

"Since you were each chosen by the keyblade, I need each of you to spread out into the north, west and south and combat the heartless, as well as the brotherhood." He said. Quentin looked at him.

"Will we have any help?" Quentin asked, he nodded.

"Yes, we have soldier squads who can watch your back." He said, Quentin nodded.

"What if we can't do it?" Quentin asked, Set breathed.

"You have to, you are our last chance."

Azura and Ashton finished re-fueling the tank and went back inside to see Quentin and Set talking to eachother.Set explained to them about the scroll and about their mission."This is going to be though.They're practically countless.And there's three entire kingdoms.Along with the threath of the Brotherhood."Azura says as she looks down.She looks at Quentin."But I guess it's better then to do nothing.We'll need to do this,and win."Azura says.Ashton noded.

"Good, we'll get started tomorrow." He said getting up.

"You can spend today getting prepared, I'll be in the office making calls." He said walking out of the room. Quentin saw Kazac get up and move over.

"So how have you been nephew?" he asked looking at Quentin. Azura sat next to Quentin, she put her hand in his.

"I've been good uncle." Quentin said. Kazac looked at them and smiled.

"So I see you've finally told her?" He asked, Quentin and Azura blushed.

"Yeah..." Quentin said. Kazac looked towards Azura.

"Make sure to take care of him out there."

Azura noded."Don't worry.I will.With my life if nessesary."Azura says.She ment it.Kazac smiles."Good.Well,you guys better get prepared.Make sure to take potions for energy and some bandages too.I'll be giving Ashton some cordinates."Kazac says as he and Ashton start to talk as they walk away.Azura looked at Quentin and smiled."Come.We need to find the enfermery of here so we can borrow some potions."Azura says.Quentin noded.They walked around and eventually found it.Azura took a few potions,bandages,antibiotics and three elixers and putted it a bag."OK,what else do we need?"Azura asks.

"Hm, maybe some camping supplies?" Quentin supposed she nodded and walked over to where that would be. They were on the top of a shelf, she tried to reach up for them, but couldn't quite get there, quentin was a couple inches taller and grabbed them. he handed them to her, she took them blushing, slightly emberassed she couldn't reach up to them.

"Alright, what else would we need?" Quentin wonderred looking through stuff.

"hmm, maybe some extra changes of clothes?" Quentin suggested.

Azura thinks and nods."Yeah.That's a good idea.I belive our clothes are already getting wasted from all the battleling."Azura says.Quentin nods."Hm.Maybe we could find some in the royal armery.Where the soilders would usually get ready for battle.Or maybe some around the rooms.I'm sure there must be some around the closets..."Azura says.She starts to walk around."Rooms or armery?"Azura asks.

"Let's try rooms, I hate the feeling of armor." Quentin said, she nodded, they walked into one of the rooms and found a large assortment of clothing. Quentin looked through it. he found a green shirt with a yellow crown emblem, a new silver sleeveless hoodie with a zpper, new tan pants, and an armor piece to put over his left arm, Quentin quickly put the stuff on. Azura found some clothing.

He looked at her.

"Er...I'll look away." Quentin said blushing.

Azura blushes.Quentin looks away and covers his eyes.Azura quickly got dressed.She putted on a royal blue sleveless shirt with a silver star design on the back.She wore dark blue yeans with royal blue boots taht had silver desighns.She also putted on some black fingerless glaves."You can look now."Azura says.She looked around for a while.

Quentin uncovered his eyes, she was beautiful... He then found a jacket for cold weather situations.

"Alright, that's about it." Quentin said, she nodded, they left the room. Quentin saw a bench and worked with it to upgrade the gun he got from the brotherhood. he put it into a holster on his side. Quentin slowly got more stuff, he looked through books and started understanding more spells. Azura did nothing much currently except looking through files. He approached her.

"Er Azura... would you like to talk to my father over something?" Quentin asked, she looked at him, she nodded. They walked over to the door to an office, Quentin peaked and saw he was working on something. He gestured her to enter. She nervously walked in. Quentin leaned by the door listenning in.

Azura steared at Set.Set looked at her."Something you need,Azura?"Set asks."I just want to ask you something."Azura says.Set putted the files he was reading down."Sure,what is it?"Set asks."...why did you wanted to invade the world and the kingdoms?Why did you killed so many people?Why...did you killed our families?"Azura asks seriously.She just wanted to know the reason of 'why'.Set steared at her.He sighs and holds his head."Because...I wanted the best for them...and...because I wasn't worth it."Set says.Azura's eyes narrowed.

 

(*sadness and sorrow piano cover starts to play*)

"Mira.She was the most beautiful woman in the entire world.I didn't really deserved her.I wasn't worth it.I was the luckiest man in the entire world to have her.When we had Quentin.We were as happy as we could ever be.But then...I lost her.She was gone.And there wasn't anything that I could do to reverse it.Quentin was everything that I had left.I was afraid that he would be gone as well.So...I decided to take over completetly..."Set says.She covers his face with his hands.

 

"I knew that thw kingdoms would usually get into war as time passed by.I was afraid that he would die in one of those wars.I was a fool.I knew it couldn't relaly be helped as he grew.I couldn't keep him under my care forever.So I decided to make the world under my command.So I would be the only one who decides if there was war or not.So when Quentin grew up.He could be safe by ruling the world and kingdoms himself."Set says."Then,why the royal families?Why kill them?"Azura asks.

 

"They were in the way.I was afraid that they would go against him.Against us.And take their rightful place as rulers.I needed to make the path clear and safe for him.For Quentin."Set says.Tears fall from his face."You're saying.That you killed thousands.And conquered the world.Just to make it a safe place for him?"Azura asks as her eyes soften."Yes.That was the only reason.I told Mira,that I would protect her.I failed at that.After her death.I promised Quentin the same.I did my best.When I thought he was gone.It was just the breaking point.I was the worst father and husband of the world.One who can't even protect his family.I decided to avenge them.By making this world what I wanted it to be.A safe place for my family.Even though I didn't had any anymore.I just wanted to finished what I had started..."Set says crying.

 

"Mira and Quentin meant everything for me.They were my reason to live.With them gone...my feelings went cold.I had no feelings at all.Just hatred.And in the end.Regret.I regreted what I had done.Thought of what I had done to the world.And regreted it.Even now,years later,I still wonder if Mira and Quentin could ever forgive me for what I have done..."Set says crying.Azura just steares in surprise.Set had never been seen crying like this.Or let his emotions out like this.Ever.Now Azura understood the why of it all.She looked back.And saw that Quentin had heard everything.

Quentin slowly stepped in.

"Father..." Set looked at him and started to cover what he did up.

"Quentin, it's nothing, just and old man crying." He said, Quentin shook his head. He stepped forward.

"Dad... I heard what you said..." Quentin said, Set looked at him and then started to look away.

"You said that it all happenned, because mom died, and I dissapeared... It can't be all your fault." quentin said, Set didn't think so. Azura got next to him. Quentin looked at her.

"If I was never taken away... I probably never would of met her." Quentin said, Azura looked at him and smiled.

"If mom never died... Maybe instead right now the kingdoms would be fighting over what they should consider to do, instead of what they need to do." Quentin said, his father looked at him.

"Perhaps... but what I've done can't be forgiven... I've destroyed kingdoms that withstood for thousands of generations, I've murdered kings...I did these things for you, so you wouldn't have to deal with them... I became a monster, so you could have a chance for a future." He said. Quentin looked at him.

"Maybe it's time you give back for what you've done..." Quentin said, Set looked at him... he slowly nodded.

"And dad... I forgive you..." Quentin said, his father looked at him for a moment and slowly nodded. He returned back to his computer nd got back too typing. Quentin pulled something out of his backpack, the wedding picture he found, he place it on his desk. His father looked at him.

"...thank you, son." He said, Quentin nodded. He and Azura slowly walked out of the room. When they got out she quickly hugged him.

Azura hugged Quentin."You really ment all of that.I could sense it.Your feelings were letted out.Along with your dad's.He really did all of it for you guys.He really loved you guys."Azura says.Quentin noded and hugged back.Azura steared at him and kissed him in the lips.After a while they break the kiss."Come on.Let's go see Kazac and see if he has something to tell us..."Azura says.Quentin noded and they walk to where Kazac was.

Quentin nodded and followed Azura. Set looked outside the room and saw them kiss.

"...She really loves him... I hope she takes good care of my son." He said slowly walking back into the office. He took a look at the picture, they're faces were so vibrant back then. He slowly put the picture down and returrned to work.

Kazac was talking to Ashton and disscusing about where they should go first and about different strategies and so.Azura and Quentin walked in."Ah.There you are.Ashton and I were just about finished with some strategies against the Heartless."Kazac says.They nod."Well,should we get going already?"Azura asks."Hm,well,it's pretty late.It's practically midnight.Why don't you stay for tonight and go tomorow early in the morning?"Kazac suggests."I guess that could work."Azura says.Kazac nods.

Then a blast of darkness came. All of the brotherhood members were there. Nagoto,Riza,Hades,Gaia,And Angel.'' It seems we have found you guys. Now. You all must die. Angel get Azura,Gaia get Ashton,Hades get Quentin,Riza get Kazac,And i get Set.''said Nagoto as they went to fight.

Angel and Azura clashed blades.'' Its time we settle our fight once and for all.''said Angel.

Azura glared at her."We will see about that!"Azura says.Angel and Azura clash blades over and over again.Azura jumped back and threw a fire attack at Angel.Seh easily blocked it.She laughs."Pity.You're so weak."Angel says.Azura glares at her and charges.Angel dodges very easily.Azura uses blizzard,witch for some reason was much more powerful than anything before.Angel got hit and froze.But then she broke free.She shook of the cold."T-T-That was c-c-cold!"Angel says.She glares at Azura.Azura looks at her hand."The power of ice."Azura says.She looks at her feet.The bottom of her shoe gets covered in ice.She starts to skate around the floor and charges at Angel.

( I thought there were 6 members?) Hades slashed at Quentin who ducked. his blade went through the wall. he sent a large shadow at Quentin who slashed clean through it. Quentin slashed and blocked his attacks.

"I thought you didn't like what you were doing?" Quentin said, Hades slashed towards him. he ducked and then slashed towards him, Hades fell over. Hades got up and slashed. he seemed to be holding back. Quentin fired dark firaga towards him who avoided and then tried to slash at him. Quentin immediately fired with the gun pushing him back.

"C'mon Hades, you know this is wrong." Quentin said, Hades slashed towards him again.

-Meanwhile-

"Prepare to die old man." Nagoto said, Set stared at him and then slashed towards him, he got a cut on nagoto's leg. Nagoto stared at him and then slashed at him, Set ducked.

"Oh really, I thought we used to be friends." Set mockd, Nagoto slashed towards him, Set got out of the way.

Angel looked at Azura.'' The only reason we are fighting right now in the dark is because we have second forms. Our heartless forms.''said Angel as she changed shape. She then had claws,Wings,Yellow eyes,Long black hair,She also had a tail.'' This is my heartless form.''said Angel as she looked at Azura.

-meanwhile-

Ashton was fighting Gaia.'' This time I'll defeat you.''said Ashton as he shot a feather slash. Ashton then clashed blades with Gaia once again.

-meanwhile-

Hades clashed blades with Quentin once again.

Hades slashed towards Quentin's right, he blocked and then kicked him. Hades fell back. Quentin did an over head slash towards him who blocked. He stared at him. Quentin then jumped back.

"I won't fight you." Quentin said. Hades looked at him and did a strike raid with his sword. Quentin avoided. They were now in a large room that had been in construction when Set came and took over, the equipment was still there, Quentin jumped onto one of the scafolds, Hades looked around.

"Come out come out wherever you are." He said.

Azura looked at Angel."Whoa.You over did it on the make over."Azura says as a joke.Angel roared and she clashed blades with Azura.Azura jumped back but Angel flew towards her and took her blade and stabbed her right through Azura.Azura puked blood.She slashed Angel on the neck.Angel retrieved her blade and flew away from Azura.She used the darkness to heal herself."Mind lending that trick?"Azura asks.She drinks a potion and gets some energy back.

"C'mon victor, give into the darkness, it's the only way to save your friends." He said looking around. Quentin was sneaking around jumping from Scafold to scafold.

"Right, and your the one that told me you didn't want to be in the brotherhood." Quentin said, Hades breathed rememberring that.

"That's my problem, and I'll face it anyway I want." He said. he knocked over a scafold.

"If you don't fight me, then I suppose I can settle for Azura and Ashton. Quentin immediately jumped down and slashed towards him, he blocked but Quentin attacked in a frenzy. He kept slashing and Hades could barely block.
