the one year timeskip! it means we won't ever get to see xion, roxas, or namine fricking ADJUSTING TO HAVING NORMAL LIVES AS LIKE PEOPLE AND STUFF! like do they go to school now? do they have new friends? do they live in twilight town or not? do they live with axel - maybe even a reluctant isa too as a house guest?!

and how did roxas and xion and namine all react to going to fricking radiant garden and seeing DIZ again? how would they get past all that terrible history? especially namine! like the first thing she saw upon waking up was...well okay i don't think she ever saw his real face actually, but she would have recognized his voice!

but since we skipped a year we get NONE OF THAT EVER. forever lost character moments and potential.

i need super amazing in depth fanfics to satisfy these needs since canon one year skipped over everything...because SORA. like everything else.  i hate sora now omg.

Even though I would've liked to see what happened to them too, I'm glad that they got a happy ending after all the trauma they went through. I can see Isa/Lea playing a part in one of the future KH games though from that 2 part Secret Report from Isa.

And Ocean is right, they could always touch upon that 1 year timeframe in a future installment

I mean, what were you expecting exactly? KH has been pretty notoriously bad at handling the little things like that from the very beginning and Remind only made it more glaringly obvious than its ever been before. We don't even get a hug out of Riku and Kairi when she wakes up after a whole year asleep to lend merit to the idea that the two are actually friends with each other rather than two people with a mutual friend in the form of Sora.

Nomura and the writing team need to work on the "daily things" for the Kingdom Hearts' stories. Kingdom Hearts III is the most glaring of the stories compared to something like 358/2 Days.
