I knew it before the English BBS came out (Because ever since I saw Vani in Jap BBS, I was guessing that his Jap voice actor is Sora's voice actor...Don't ask me why I think this though OTL)

He isn't his voice in BBS though. Only KH2 and Days.

And even then, he didn't do all the lines for his characters. Someone else who sounds like him did most of the lines, or so I heard.

Christopher Lee was Ansem/DiZ in Kingdom Hearts II, but didn't reprise the role. In Days and Birth by Sleep, Corey Burton voices DiZ/Ansem the Wise.

 

And, honestly, it isn't that obvious, when Vanitas is wearing a mask and if you haven't spoiled yourself or looked up the actors already. I noticed that his voice did have similar inflections to Jesse McCartney's, but that also happened with Sora and Roxas in KH2. The first time they were in a scene, and neither was on the screen (when Roxas faints) I could barely tell which was which. Particularly in the scene where Aqua fights against VaniVen/Venitas, when their voices are put together, they ARE very alike.

 

He doesn't sound that much like Sora, so lay off.

Nope. Just checked the credits. Christopher Lee played DiZ in Days. Corey Burton voices him in Re:CoM and BBS.
