the fact that both won't be playable honestly concerns me for future ff games. assuming that XVII follows the style of the remake trilogy how are they gonna make 8 characters playable in a potential XVII when they can't seemingly deal with more than 4 characters?

They could follow Xenoblade 3 where they all play the exact same

FF9 in german is an experience btw. I would honestly consider it being the best version of the game

But making them all unique like the Remake trilogy is doing will not be easy

modern FF is a lot inspired by Xenoblade so I can see them doing that
