Most frustrating part is that I like the idea on paper. That Cloud is just having a mental breakdown on how it all went down.

It would be one thing if it's Cloud's perspective being confusing but we have all the other nonsense to go along with it. Whatever the firetruck happened after chapter 13 with Cloud walking around with Aerith, why are there so many different breeds of Stamp, WHAT IS THE POINT OF ZACK and so so many more

I think what I hate the most here is that

I already know how part 3 is going to play out. It's going to be exactly like Remake and Rebirth where you do all of these iconic moments that are more or less the same but also expanded from the original. And then the final chapter will go pure nonsense again.

 

 

AND I ALREADY KNOW I WILL LOVE THE MAJORITY OF IT

 

I just realized

the ending of intergrade has been retconned out. Zack going to the church to see Aerith and then finding a bunch of people crying inside makes zero sense now as it wouldn't fit at any time in Rebirth

I think my biggest disappointment is how they butchered The Forgotten Capital. You see it for one moment and it looks glorious and then two seconds later the whispers come in and it's all ruined. You don't even get to explore. You don't even get the iconic haunting music playing there. You just fight some white whispers and then go through the Aerith nonsense.

 

UGH YEAH

 

I was so looking forward to hearing this games version of that theme as so many of the music here is so damn good

 

IT’S LITERALLY

A SINGLE WALK TO WHERE AERITH IS

 

 

And the closest we get are small snippets in chapter 13 temple

 

it was more in remake than here 😭
