They really want to take their sweet time doing this story

I don't think it's for quality assurance so much as practicality

I dont think they are really rushing at all, when much of the work is done thanks to Rebirth

The way they did Part 1 they could only do it the way they are

I don't think they're rushing or are gonna, I'm saying I think to make the 30th they might rush it out

I can understand that, 3 years in AAA is not a lot of time

But they do already have a lot of the cities and world already done

The biggest new additions will be

Rocket Town

, Wutai, Northern Crater and making Cid and Vincent playable

Based on what Hamaguchi is saying, it seems like a lot of it is done already, its just trying to figure out the Highwind for the world besides from the final zones needed and few characters to be playable left
Its not a whole lot that needs done since they can save dev time from Rebirth

3 years seems more then reasonable, I dont think were gonna get another wait like from Remake to Rebirth

That's a fair assessment; part 2 was always going to be the "harder" game to make, for more reasons than 3

I need to beat the game before I can properly assess though

Let me tell you, I don't know why but

that Scarlet boss fight

was a pain in the damn asshole.

I'd be right there with you but once I got the car I kinda went right where I needed to lol

I'm approaching 50 hours.

It's those stupid

drills. I have no idea what I was supposed to do there, anything I did didn't work

 

Thankfully a summon saved my ass there

I missed like one Piano section in the beginning , everything else is Rank 3 on the minigames and Fort Condor Hard Mode is done
Still figuring out how to beat

Oh yeah about that,

the first two are weak to lighting but when she gets the punchy-ones, they're no longer weak to lighting unless staggered.

That's where I struggled too

Assess didn't help either

I 100% grasslands and missed like 3 things in Condor, but Corel I barely did anything- I completely went "uhhhhhhh" when I saw the size of it 😭

Did nothing.

You can save Corel for later either way

I actually went down in difficulty for that one....

You won't be able to finish that one until towards the end of the game

Corel wasnt too bad, as you cant really do everything right away

I've been told by a friend to absolutely at least go for all the protorelics; especially in (me?) Gongaga.

I highly recommend the Cosmo Canyon one

I mean I say go for all the proto relics either way because Gilgi is fun

If you dont wanna hate yourself do not do the Fort Condor one, the tuning in that is awful

Just put the game on easy if you struggle too much

Doing it on Dynamic is a mistake lol

especially once you unlock Hard mode, Stage 4 was downright unfair

I still haven't done the hard mode one, I struggled on stage 4 just on normal
