I really hope that they somehow address this in the story. There's this one part where cait sith is sacrificing himself but in og it was written in a way where it's really hard for reeve to get new robots

I mean, in the new art we go, Mog's got a zipper on his back

I can't even remember if that was always a thing

story needs to be written in a way where cait sith suicide missions aren't the solution to all major problems

I want to believe Reeves is just inside the Mog

Plus like narratively it's kinda genius cause it fakes you out by making you think he'll die for real, but then the game is like hah lol no it's cool no one's gonna die, then, well, Aeirth happens

I hope they do the gameplay mechanic in a way where cait sith repairs the robot instead of bringing an entirely new one

It swerves you by making you think death is cheap

Rebirth is gonna have a sea of stars plottwist

where you

travel back into time and replace aerith with cait sith
