Who thinks KH games are confusing?

Posted

The games don't confuse me but it's so hard to explain to my cousin. I tell him to get the game but he's to lazy to do it. Truthfully, some stuff I'm confused of but don't worry about it. If you think KH games can be confusing then feel free to put something down.

I understand it. Kh is pretty straight forward. You won't get it at all if you never played it though.

I was alright until they started shoving all of the BBS stuff in. ._.'

But it's still sort of hard to tell people who have never played that game about it. Saying, "A kid goes around hitting shadows with a key, he tries to save his friends, one of which is possessed by dead scientist, and then he saves his friends by stabbing himself, and then comes back to life again as a shadow, and then comes back to life again again, but now he has a Nobody who also has a key, who was captured by the dead scientist who wasn't really dead because that was actually HIS Nobody and was actually living with Mickey Mouse the entire time..." is pretty much guaranteed to get you some odd stares. xD

fool. It wasn't confusing, until I saw Sora's shoes.

The first KH game I played was KHII. You can't possibly imagine how confused I was.

They get confusing if you're not someone used to the universe, since somethings in the game aren't supposed to really "exist" and people tend not to get that KH is a fiction not reality. I know what you mean with explaining, I've tryed it many times with a few friends but they never get the point of the plot, yeah and it's nothing very simple so people can only understand once they've played the game I guess. x.x

depends how you explain it. if you go in to the real story, all the subplots and theorys, then it will be incredibly confusing.

saying ''there's a kid with a key who kills monsters called heartless who try to kill people, so you travel disney worlds killing them'', that's a MUCH simpler way of putting it

one of my friends played KH2 thinking it was the first and thought Roxas was Sora. |D

KH is confusing to explain but not play lol xD

A very general premise would be a boy finds out he a great destiny tied to a weapon only for him soaked in mystery, he must save the universe from monsters and the dark with his newfound friends. oh and theres a lot of Disney and Square in it.

Amazingly the first game for all its good is that simple

Kingdom Hearts, to me, was pretty straight forward, but hey, some people learn in different ways from others. Some learn verbally, some learn things by actually doing the thing, and others learn by reading the summary of the thing on the internet.

Well, not really. But you realize just how "confusing" it is once you try to explain to someone who's completely new to the series, especially if you try to get into the nitty-gritty details. The basic info is pretty straightforward though ^^

KH doesn't really confuse me really, to tell you the truth. But I can be pretty hard trying to explain the game to someone who is new to the series or is confused on something about the series.

It wasn't really confusing to me really, until I stopped playing the series for a while and forgot everything I knew about it, then tried to relearn it quickly, then i got confused, but now it's simple again

All I know is the games through my cousin off because he's a dummy. ^_^ I think If I gave him KH1 and KH2 and make sure he beats it, he'll be okay. Then there's chain memories and 358/2 and birth by sleep and Re:coded!!! Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, he's gonna be so confused without all of that.

I get confused whenever I try to explain the game to a friend, or someone else who asks..

I mean, I can't tell them about it

without making it sound silly a incredibly stupid game for 5 year olds .. (Which it isn't)
