(Sorry if there is a thread like this, I didn't see one)

I understand that the Level of a Command affects when it can be melded or not, but does it affect anything else? And same with Shotlocks and Movement Abilities (Like Dodge Roll)? Thank you for any information about it you can give.

Here are the things that I do understand though, I just don't know if leveling up a Command/Movement Ability/Shotlock effects stats or something.

Command Levels:

Determines when a Command can be Melded.

If at Max Level, it sells more at a Shop.

Movement Abilities:

Not too sure about these.

Shotlocks:

I've heard that if it is at Max Level then, if you max out the number of targets acquired when preforming it, you can add in some extra attacks by pressing the buttons it tells you.

Thanks for any other information you can give.

there is 1 action command for terra that lvl's affect it, and shotlocks lvl's do matter, there r 2 types of shotlocks the one's where you rush the enemy and the one's that shoot stuff, and at lvl 2 or 3 then commands can be melded, hope this helps :D.

It depends on what they are. Like with the mine ones, the level determines how many mines are created. The higher the level, the more mines you get. And with Shotlocks, the higher the level, the faster it is to lock on and less focus you use. Also, the length of the button presses extend. As for movement, I think it just adds to the speed for them, and High jump makes you go higher. Not too sure on those.

movement abilit's level just make's them go futher like terra's slidey dashy thingy just make's him slide futher

Like Azure flame said, plus when you meld commands, if you use a crystal, you need to max it out before you can make the ability passive and forever equipped to you. And if the commands are maxed out you have a better chance at getting the more rare commands from melding. For instance, "Quick Blitz" and "Slot Edge" get you "Blitz", but if they are both maxed out, you have a 10% chance at "Ars Arcanum" instead. The level also affects the amount of damage you do, and in a "Dash" or "Surge" how far forward you move. Or, like what Azure flame said about the mines.

The movement ones can be fused once again, and all of the above applies as well (Just likely you will fuse them, and you have to have a second one to fuse them.), "Glide" maxed out, would go faster and farther then if it isn't.

And for shotlocks, what Azure Flame said sums it up. :)

Good Luck buddy, Birth By Sleep is my favorite Kingdom Hearts game yet.

fool. A fire lvl 2 is stronger than a firelvl 1. It is similiar with a lot of commands.

I believe that the level of the command determines it's strength. This certainly proves true for the shotlocks and the mine commands, but I'm not sure for the rest

Right, I forgot to mention that I new that thing about adding crystals when Melding. But I didn't know about the thing with the Max Leveled Commands providing a better chance of getting Rarer Commands. That's a piece of information that will come in handy.

I should have realized the thing about Movement Abilities, but still not to sure about Defensive ones either, Reprisals are an obvious one though, most likely similar to Attack Commands, that they will increase in Strength.

And yeah, I'm loving Birth By Sleep as well even though I don't have a Memory Stick yet, I should be getting one tomorrow though, and I must say that Critical Mode is just as hard as KH125 said, I died three times trying to fight the boss in Enchanted Dominion.
