BEFORE I GO ON, KNOW THIS:

1. I got woken up early by the *sarcasm* LOVELY aroma of cigarettes after a bad night of sleep, can't go to use the restroom, and I'm still on my period. Needless to say, I'm probably going to be uncharacteristically nasty in this post.

2. I'm not calling anyone out when I discuss the thread. It's the overall vibe of the thread that pissed me off.

3. I am not trying to start any arguments or drama. I just want to get this off my chest.

 

 

 

 

Ok then. Today I went back and checked up on a thread I posted in. (You can view it here) I gave my opinion in this thread, and I wanted to see if I got any replies. Basically, the individual who was posted about was being an idiot on YouTube and posted what he thought he knew was going on with KH (Wish I could post his comment in here, but it was so wrong, it got deleted. LOL), and I pretty much said he was stupid, or he was trolling. In any case, some members got insulted by my words about him trolling (and, yes, I know the comments were directed at me, because I was the only one calling the guy a troll) and decided to give me hell for it.

 

I'm just here to say this: I stand by what I said, and I really don't give a damn if you all agree with me or not.

 

I don't care if the guy is new to the series or not. You don't go giving false information out like that as if you know every firetrucking thing about it. THAT is what pissed me off about that. Not that he's new to the series. Not that he doesn't know what's going on. It's that he acted like he knew everything, when he didn't know shit. I don't care if someone is new to a series or not, if you don't know anything about it, don't go acting like you do. And that is why I posted what I did in that thread. I probably should have said what I said right here when I posted, but I was in a hurry at the time.

 

What pissed me off even more though, was how I was pretty called out (not by name, which I do respect those individuals for that much) for stating my opinion. As I have said, I don't care if you agree with me. I thought the guy was an absolute idiot for posting that comment like that, and that is what I think.

 

As for calling him a troll, do you all realize how many trolls inhabit YouTube? There is a wide variety of trolling, and giving clearly wrong information like that is a form of trolling. So I thought he was probably trolling, and, oh dear, I'm so horrid for saying such a thing! Shame on me! *rolls eyes* He was trolling, I'm very sure of it. In fact, that was probably why his comment got deleted. Whoever made the video probably thought the same thing and deleted. As a matter of fact, he never even replied to all of the comments made. Not even when someone corrected him. Mind you, it's been four or five days now. Only more proof that he was probably trolling.

 

Tl;dr: I have been made a bad guy in a thread for giving my opinion, it pissed me off, and here I am letting it all out so I don't have a raging ball of anger to take out on anyone.

If someone's acting like a know-it-all, then just tell them what they're wrong about. You don't have to go, "LOL UR AN IDIOT LOL". That won't solve ANY problems, dear.

 

The thread in question was pretty damn immature, imo. Everyone was pretty much making a big deal out of nothing at all (Kingdom Hearts is a video game, and video games are not srs bsns).

 

Yes, there are a lot of trolls on YT. And the one thing you should know about trolls: Don't. Reply. That's the exact thing they want, and you gave it to them. (if they were a troll...and there is a possibility that they weren't. Y'know. Because not everyone is completely obsessed with KH and knows every single last detail.)

 

TL;DR You stood by your opinion; that's great and perfectly fine. But it doesn't give you the right to start being a jerk to someone you don't even know.

And they weren't just calling you out and ect. 50% of the people in that thread were insulting said youtube user, and that was what was immature and rude, not just you. So please don't take it all directed on you, I think it was directed to the thread in general. C:

I have to agree. They didn't have to bring this site in on it. It could have been anonymous and it wouldn't have been a big deal.

Yeah, I am now. It was just irking me because I really don't like being told I'm in the wrong when I really didn't do anything wrong. And, as I said, I was grumpy at the time, so that didn't help any at all, lol.
