This little question derived from a little thing called voice chatting.

Uke is a nickname of mine. So when I say someone called me that, don't be surprised. And if you weren't in the chatroom, you probably can guess who it was.

Someone called me uke, but said it in a way I didn't know it was said. I was like:

o-o Did they just say "ooo-kay?" WTF?

I pronounce it oook. So it was weird to hear it said like that.

If anyone knows how to say it, please tell me! I wish to know. I must have these answers. I must know if I'm right or wrong. xD

btw,Kaiso giggles like a schoolgirl. o-o

FUUUU-

Me and Ivan were wrong. xD

i'm pretty sure uke is a japanese term meaning reciever (tori meaning giver).

i do judo, and we use uke to mean the person whon gets the technique on them, and tori being the person who performs the technique

and as DC said, it is oo-kee

Then can anyone please explain what does Uke and Seme means? (No don't tell me Uke is the one who tops bla bla, bvecause I still don't get it)

Seme is giver or something like that, and Uke is reciever.

So Seme is kind of the dominant one, taking control or w/e. Uke just takes it like a good lil- . c:

That made no sense what so ever to me. Oh well. I hope I kind of helped.

...Okay that made no sense to me too HAHAHA /shot

I guess I'll never understand "xxx is an Uke and xxx is a Seme" or whatever lolol

It's Japanese. Pronounced "oo-ke".

You don't know how much I love you Danne C: <3

HA! I WAS RIGHT! MY MEXICAN INTUITION WAS RIGHT.

...Okay that made no sense to me too HAHAHA /shot

I guess I'll never understand "xxx is an Uke and xxx is a Seme" or whatever lolol

Well, basically during boyxboy intercourse, uke is the girl in the relationship and seme is the male in the relationship.

;A;

Don't judge me. Idk why you were laughing anyway. o-o

IT FEELS WIERD SAYING OO-KE

Waitwhat!+ It's not pronounced like "oo-ke" .. WTF!?

lol, why is everyone so confused?

oo-kee, it's not that hard

...Huh. I thought it was u-ke. Oo-kay.

And as for why it's a surprise? Um, because in my (shamefully limited :c) knowledge of the language, ki was more of a "kee" sound, while ke was a "kay".

Like Daisuke and Daisuki- (-read DNAngel too much as a kid-) it was kind of "Die-s-Kay" and "die-s-kee".

(And I KNOW I should probably count it, but the u in the "suke" is skimmed over a lot...)
