(Spoiler) What the secret ending means.

Posted

Okay so I was watching the secret ending to re coded, in english. And when Yen Sid says that, correct me if i'm wrong. "Would a single one of you, be enough for one of him". Talking about Xeahnort. Does that mean that Sora and Riku aren't the ones who are ment to fight Xeahnort. It seems like there might be a new Keyblade warrior coming into the picture, what do you think?

Edit: Oh, you weren't sure that that was the line? Oops. That's what you get for reading too fast. >.<

Lemme rewatch the cutscene real quick...

*watches*

Ah! My apologies! He's talking about multiple Xehanorts, not one.

He means a single keyblade master wouldn't be enough.

Sora and Riku must take the exam so that there will be more masters before taking on the Xehanorts.

"Would a single one of you suffice if what you faced was not a single one of him"-Yen Sid.

Basically what he meant is that Sora and co. will face Xehanort and not a single one of him meaning that there will be more than one Xehanort.

It means not even mickey sora and riku together couldn't handle xahanort

He meant that MX would have evil Keyblade Masters wit him

I think he meant that only Mickey, wouldn't be able to defeat Xehanort, and that Xehanort is not Alone.

As Heart_XIII said, he was referring to Mickey being the only Keyblade Master. Sora and Riku are Wielders, but not masters. So they'll take the Mark of Mastery exam to become masters themselves. That's what he was referring too. He was still talking about Sora, Riku, and Mickey.

He's basically saying that only one Master alone would not be able to face the many forms of Xehanort who have returned. Basically that they need more Masters if they hope of defeating Master Xehanort.

how meany xehanorts are their and do they all look the same!?

If you mean how many are returning, no one knows. As for them looking the same, well, just look at Master Xehanort, Ansem SoD, and Xemnas. That should be clear enough.

Don't forget Apprentice Xehanort/Terranort.

ok so wait if MX is coming back does that mean terra will also come back because xehanorts heart did go into terra so i'm thinking either terranort will come back with MX or MX and terra :|

Terra's heart (and therefore Eraqus' as well) is implied to be in Riku right now. His body and soul are currently unaccounted for.

Where did you hear that?

how did terra's heart get in riku?

how did terra's heart get in riku?

It's a bit long, but hopefully it's easy enough to follow:

- Ansem Seeker of Darkness = Apprentice Xehanort's Heartless = Apprentice Xehanort's heart (Heartless are hearts after all. They are only called "Heartless" because they are completely devoid of emotion, the metaphorical sense of the word, not the literal)

- Apprentice Xehanort's heart = Master Xehanort's heart + Master Eraqus' heart + Terra's heart

- In KH1, Ansem SoD takes over Riku's body, and kicks Riku's own heart into the Realm of Darkness (see

)

- Upon his defeat at the hands of Sora, Donald and Goofy, Ansem SoD + Riku's body and soul return and merge with Riku's heart in the Realm of Darkness. From this point on, Riku is harboring a total of 4 hearts within him, including his own.

- Fast forward to KH2, when Ansem's machine explodes. Taking that in consideration, as well as this excerpt from the BBS Ultimania:

-- Is that to say that there's a possibility that within Xehanort's Heartless, the darkness that sleeps in Riku's heart, there might remain something of Terra...?

Nomura: That's also a riddle connected to the next story, so everyone please use your imagination.

we can assume that the explosion only expelled Master Xehanort's heart from Riku, while Terra's (and therefore Eraqus' as well) remained.

But whether or not the implication is actually true has yet to be officially confirmed. So it's up to you whether or not you choose to believe it or not. It's entirely possible that Terra's heart was expelled along with Xehanort's when the explosion occured. I just decided to take that interview excerpt to heart and treat it as a hint of Terra's heart being in Riku.
