Tornadoes in the Keyblade Graveyard

Posted

(I apologize if there is a thread like this)

You know those tornadoes in the Keyblade Graveyard, and how sometimes really big enemies appear. Well, I'm gonna bet that some people have already figured this out, but there are actually three effects placed on the enemies in those tornadoes:

1. They get massive

2. They receive the ability Haste for the duration of the battle

3. They receive the ability Slow for the duration of the battle

Oh, and there's one more thing that some people might know or not know, you can affect which one you get, and if you don't know, you might be asking "How?" Well, go take a look at one of those tornadoes. See how it changes colors? That's the key to what will happen to the Unversed, as well as which set spawns. If you aren't looking close enough at the tornadoes, you might only see a color change between Purple and Light Green, when really, right between the change of Purple and Green & Vise versa, there is a section of blue. If you are interested in controlling what effect you want to be placed on the Unversed, I figured out what color applies to what effect (Not to hard to do either):

Purple: Size Increase

Blue: Slow

Green: Haste

I hope there are at least a handful of people that didn't know this because otherwise this thread is pretty pointless xD

Interesting, I never knew that. I knew about the massive ones, but I thought the others were normal. And I never noticed a color change for them, I just thought it was random.

Yeah, I figured that out a while ago when I played it on Critical mode. I just noticed that they affect the Unversed in some way, but never noticed the colors on the tornadoes though xD.

Interesting. Wow, I never noticed that, I mean, not like I even have the game, but awesome find!

Woah. How did you discover that?

Well, when I played as Terra, I noticed that sometimes the enemies were really big, slowed down, and I believe one time I got a group that was sped up. So when I got to that point on Ventus' story, I got lots of big ones, and then noticed how I'd always seem to hit it when it was purple, so I went in when it was green one time and saw that they got faster. I remembered that the enemies got slower at one point for Terra, and started to see that there was a connection based on the color of the Tornadoes. So from a distance (As Ventus) I observed the Tornadoes and noticed that between the change of Purple and Green/Green and Purple, Blue would appear, but not as long as Purple or Green it seemed. So, I first ran up to a Tornado so that it would follow me, and then retreated till I saw that it was blue and jumped in, thus allowing me to cause the enemies to be slowed. It is very handy to know since having slowed enemies is a very big advantage during battle.

I always get the blue tornado ._.

Isn't that a good thing?

I thought that for Green tornadoes it was regular? But anyways, the blue tornadoes were pretty challenging for me when I wasn't that high leveled. I would always get beaten by the hour glass unversed things.

If you watch the Unversed that increase in size when they are attacked from the front, you notice that they are much quicker. Also, that is purple not blue. In blue they are slow, in Purple they are big.
