I have a question for the writers here.

I'm planning on writing a novel about my life last year and I have no idea if I should write it in first person or third person view.

See, I really think I should write this in first person because it's based on my personal experiences, but there's just this itch that can be scratched only by writing the story in third person. I have no idea why. Must be from reading all those Gossip Girl books.

But seriously, what do guys recommend?

It depends on what you like to write best. Using my own personal expirience, I am capable of writing in third person, but I prefer to write in first. It's whatever you feel more comfortable doing. (:

Third Person Omniscient

It will ( probably ) be a AutoBiography so i dont think first person is good :X

Hmm, if it is in an autobiography form, I would agree with RoxSar, and go Third Person. However, if you want it to be told in a story format, First Person could work.

If it were first person, it could sound and look much like a diary. I prefer to write on third person, and I would if I were you. I thought on doing something like that, but it got so few views that I was like, "meh, screw this.".
