*Spoiler* Sorry I dont know how to do the spoiler button thing.
We all know that Sora recieves a letter from Mickey at the end of Re: Coded to tell him about the people he needs to save and to prepare him for his next journey, which will be KH3D.
Since KH3D is supposed to lead on to KH3 so this is my idea of KH3 from then.
Before Sora sets of on his new journey Master Yen Sid tells him the story of the Keyblades and Aqua, Terra, and Ventus (which may trigger a memory of him meeting Aqua or seeing Terra talking Riku). Upon hearing the information of how each one of them is trapped in some way he runs of a fast as he can to try and save them, without listening to all that Yen Sid has to tell.
(At this point you will just be playing Sora with no party members)
With his new found information he travels to many worlds searching for information about the lost Keyblade bearers. After visiting a world Mickey finaly catches up with him and he tells the rest of the information Yen Sid had to say. After listening to Mickey he continues his journey with the aid of Donald and Goofy to continue the search for Aqua, Terra and Ventus.
After visiting many more worlds and battling hords of heartless, Sora and Co meet with Mickey yet again, and he tells them more information that he had found out from Master Yen Sid, the location of Terra.
Sora and Co set of to The Keyblade Graveyard, which is where Terra is said to be, with the hope of been able to free him from his torment. When they arrive they are surprised to see an old man standing next to a kneeling suit of armour holding a Keyblade.
After a cutscene showing Sora asking the old man if he was Terra, he replies with a laugh and annouces himself to be the re-formed original Master Xehanort. The suit of armour which is next to MX stands and faces him. After the shock of the information has gone Sora and the suit of armour battle with MX in an attempt to free Terra.
Sora wins the fight but Xehanort flees through a corridoor of darkness leaving Sora and Co with the stange suit of armour which is now still. They take the armour to Master Yen Sid so he can figure out why it had come to life and attacked MX. After a cutscene of Master Yen Sid explaing the unfortunate events that befeld the three hero's of light. Sora continue's is journey in search of MX. He visits many more worlds and discovers new information from people who have encounted the three Keyblade wielders before.
With new information Sora returns to Yen Sid to tell him what he had found out. After a short discussion Yen Sid tells Sora of how Aqua is trapped in the realm of Darkness and how he needs to save her. Without knowledge of the realm of darkness and having only been in there once Mickey decides he will go into the RoD to save her as he has had previous experence in there, at that moment Riku walks into the room and says he will help ickey search for Aqua while Sora searches for MX and Terra.
(This could be a split game like 3D where it ramdomly switches between Sora and Riku)
Sora travels to many worlds searching for MX while Mickey and Riku scour the RoD searching for Aqua.
Mickey and Riku finally find Aqua but she is been attacked by a giant Heartless and is strugglingas she is weak after he long time in the RoD.
Mickey and Riku team up to take down the Heartless. Afetr defeating the Heartless there is a cutscene where Mickey explains what has happened while Aqua has been away. After the talk she faints out of exhaustion and is carried by Riku back to Yen Sid.
After going to worlds such as Radient Gardens Sora and Co are hot on the trail of MX. They finally track him to castle oblivion and after going through the floors of castle oblivion once more Sora and Co trap MX in a empty room with one way out. After a cutscene of MX explaing his plan of starting a new Keyblade war reveals that he is trying to awaken Ventus to once again create the X-Blade (Kye Blade). Aqua, Riku and Mickey then run into the room just as MX reveals Aqua's armour and makes a hidden door appear behnd him.
Meanwhile, back at Mysterious Tower Aqua has awakened and is informing Yen Sid of how MX tock over Terra's heart. And the exchange of information Aqua, Riku and Mickey go to Castle Oblivion to get Ventus but are stopped by MX who is revealing his plan to Sora.
(Now both stories are joined together.)
Before Aqua can stop him MX enters the hidden room. Everyone rushes inside to see MX carring Ventus through a corridoor to darkness. Aqua says that MX would have taken Ventus to the Keyblade graveyard to create the X-Blade once more.
Upon reaching The Keyblade Graveyard there is a cutscene where Sora and Co are attacked by MX and a boy in a mask who is revealed by Aqua to be Vanitas, Ventus 's darkness. MX then goes on to tell how he had planed for the demise of himself and of Vanitas and how had back up plans. He then tells Sora something that confuses him, he tells him that it is time to release the final key. With that Mickey then relises that Ventus's hearts is within Sora and has been all this time.
MX then reveals his Keyblade and stabs Sora in is heart to release Ventus's. Sora then disappears an after once again been a heartless is saved by Kairi who has found her way here through the power of light in order to save Sora. She once again saves him but at the same time returns Ventus to normal and after a short convo between the two Sora and Ventus return to fight MX and to stop him from completing his plan.
After fighting Vanitas and defeating him Sora, Donald and Goofy head to help the others fight MX who has some how summoned Ansem SoD and Xemnas to aid him in his fight. With Ansem SoD fighting Riku and Kairi and Xemnas fighting Mickey and Aqua, Sora and Ventus go to fight MX.
After a climatic battle between Sora, Ventus and MX you finally defeat him. MX goes to try and attack Ventus but for some reason stops and stabs himself in the heart. After seeing this Aqua cries out Terra. After realising that MX had taken over Terra's heart Ventus cries out for Terra to keep fighting the darkness and to never give in. Terra's heart is finally set free from MX and floats inside the suit of armour which had been brought here by Mickey after been told to by Master Yen Sid.
There is then a cutscene where Terra (in the suit of armour) fights MX. After defeating him everyone returns to Mysterious Tower to tell Yen Sid that MX has been beaten. After congratulatiing them on there success he inform them of a new and more powerful threat looming in the darkness. After hearing this Sora says that with his new friends they can take care of any threat as long as they have one another.
New game title appears on screen, Kingdom Hearts 4: The Darkest Depths.
