Chapter 1- The new beginning.

 

 

 

Taro Kagami- 13 Years Old

 

The young, black haired boy walked along with his classmate, Miura-Kun. As they walked out of the police building, they didn't know what to say. It was still daytime, and the sky was covered by gray clouds. The streets were completely empty, almost as of a ghost town.

Chapter 2

 

As Taro and Miura-Kun split up, Ryuk followed Miura-Kun.

Taro went outside to think about what Ryuk said. As he slowly looked down, while walking, he felt like nothing was around him. His hands on his warm pockets, his thoughts were completely silent.

Shingami eyes? I could be able to kill anyone, even a random stranger. But that's not what I want. I need to kill only those who are corrupt.

...

But Miura... He wants the eyes? why?

Taro couldn't think much more. It was all confusing. H realized a sweat was coming down his hair, and had already reached his cheek. The drop of sweat fell from his cheek, but time seemed to be passing slower.

Either way, It could be useful against someone who isolates himself, someone who is secret, yet corrupt.

Taro stopped for a second. he raised his head and gasped, in such a low volume no one could hear. In front of him, he saw officers talking and walking along the road.

"What?" Taro said in a shocked tone.

More officers, they couldn't be investigating. I might have to sneak up on them...

Taro walked on the officers way, gave a pleasing nod, and the officers returned one just as welcoming, making Taro smile.

Taro's smile passed by, returning to no such emotion. He quickly turned his head and cleared his mind. He closed his hands with much strength, in a way that it hurt. He followed the officers from distance, making sure he could hear every word they said. The day was cold and cloudy, but the sun was out.

Suddenly, it started to rain. taro didn't stop walking, without even hesitating.

"A bunch of our politics died of Murder today, it appeared that President Masada was shot on the heart, after killing some of Daisuke's advertisers. They were great rivals on the campaign, but I don't see why he'd murder. In the end, the murderer took himself and Doni and threw himself in front of a train, pulling Doni. No one knows for sure why this happened, and there was no dialogue between anyone." The officer sighed for a second. He closed his eyes and cried a single tear, looking down. The sound of the rain seemed to have stopped, when he finished:

"...And your father was found among the lost."

Taro's eyes widened.

Damn it! even by killing only corrupt people, innocent people will always be hurt. At least Miura already started working, tough.

Taro thought a lot, scratching his head. He hid behind a pole to make sure he was no seen.

"...I see. I expected it to end this way. He was corrupt. Evil. He caused the death of many." The Officer closed his eyes. He had black, messy hair and a badly done beard. He seemed to bw a little overweight, yet looked very strong and in shape at the same time.

"...Maybe my father deserved to die."

The other officer gasped.

"No one deserves to die! The only one who did was his murderer, but he's already dead!"

So we're the ones who should die? Me and Miura? When I gave him that page of that Death Note, today... I didn't think of what we'd become. Murderers.

"That's not true. And I was just like him. corrupt. I supported and helped him. I deserve to die too." His words were cold and full of pain. The officer pulled out a gun. His hand was shaking. He put the gun on his head, pointing at it.

"HEISUKE, DON'T-"

Taro ran and pushed the officer, before it was too late. He jumped in front of the Heisuke, and-

...

Taro was shot.

What... is this... The pain... Damn it... should I have done this? what if I'm not saved... Miura...Kun... This Heisuke... He'll help us build a new world, trust me.

 

"What... What did I do!?" Heisuke knelt down at Taro. "This is that kid from before... he ended his life to stop me from..." Heisuke screamed with much pain.

"I'm a murderer! KILL ME, JUN! DO IT!!!!!!" Heisuke insisted painfully, crying none stop.

Taro touched Heisuke's leg, with all the effort he could. That seemed to have calmed Heisuke down. There was blood all over Taro's hand, staining Heisuke's jeans.

"...You... Deserve to live, Heisuke. You... ugh, never killed me... I chose to die... Live for me."

Taro's eyes closed slowly, as his hands slowly slid down Heisuke's pants, and hit the floor.

 

Damn it... It won't work... I can feel it. SCREW YOU, MIURA! I gave my life, shit, and you live, and I'm still dying... Erase me already, then.
