.Sitar Hero. *Very short story* Enjoy, y'all~!

---

What a day for the over eager Melodious Nocturne. First, he was assigned to his most hated place to be thought of, The Underworld. Next, he tripped over a flight of stairs that consisted of several steps. Then, he lost his favorite Sitar pic, or more commonly called, a mezrab. Now... It was just getting personal.

Number XII, Larxene, just HAD to take a crack at him today, didn't she? Not that he would fight back, however. Afterall, he, personally, found her to be quite terrifying. Though, sending the occasional ticked off expression and glare was good enough for him.

Sitting in the lounge, after a hard day's work, Number IX, Demyx, was lazily sprawled on the couch as his instrument rested across his hold, comfortably. His fingers glazed along the strings as a light and soft tune echoed from his talented hands. It was then that chaos entered the room, and that chaos had short, bright blond hair.

The young woman's green eyes sparkled like gemstones as a devilish spark fired over her lips, creating a malicious smirk. "Well, Demyx," she spoke in a mocking tone, as she advanced the higher rank member with one hand on her hip, "Who would've guessed that you'd be here, playing your 'guitar,' hm?" She put a finger to her lips in taunting thought. "Usually, you're so much more vibrant than this!"

Not only did Demyx come to a prompt halt in playing his instrument, but he also sat up as his blue and green gaze glared to her with an irritating aura to follow. "Larxene, it's not a 'guitar,'" his usually carefree tone spoke as though it were poison. He emphasized guitar as if it were a sin to even say. "And YOU know that..., " he blinked as his eyelashes then fell downward again, his sight grazing over his blue music maker.

"Do I?" the electric girl chuckled, her arms folding. "Heh, well, even if I did, toying with your nerves brings amusement to me, so therefore, I wouldn't show it." Her eyes narrowed a bit as she laughed a devilish laugh once more, vanishing in a dark vortex of sorts, and vanishing from that spot, only to recieve a sigh of relief from water boy.

Gently, Demyx strummed his Sitar as he listened to the notes all synch together in a glorious and harmoniaclly way. A small smile appeared over his upside down frown as he then placed a few of his fingers over the frets of it. He took his thumb and index finger, and began to strum as his hands moved from fret to fret, creating different sound waves that echoed through his ears.

Sure, Demyx may not have had a heart, but for a boy with no heart, he could sure have caused a smile or two. More or less, a heart was in him somewhere whether he thought so or not...
