A lot of people speculated that Square would have h.a.n.d. (The team that Square outsourced the work for 358/2 Days and Re:Coded to) make BBSV2, but I just recently discovered that the team is currently working on Chocobo Racing 3D for the 3DS.

So, the Kingdom Hearts team is working on Versus XIII, and the Birth By Sleep team is working on Dream Drop Distance.

Could it be a team from Eidos that is going to work on BBSV2?

Who do you think is working on it? Do you think anybody IS working on it? Who would you WANT working on it?

I really don't know.

It would be more logical for Osaka to work on it, since it is a sequel to BBS. Eidos has never worked on a KH game, as far as I know. If they are working on BBSV2, I have mixed feelings about that.

It WOULD make sense, but they're making Dream Drop Distance. Who knows when that'll be finished.

Eidos was acquired to recently for them to have had any part in a KH game. But they could be involved now.

Or maybe just have some of their staff diverted.

Personally I want Osaka working on it, so I'm hoping they find a way to either do both, they may just be waiting entirely. As far as we know it may not even be a game, although it more than likely is.

If Osaka were to make it, they'd have to finish Dream Drop Distance, THEN go onto BBSV2. And then we'd have to wait 'til THAT'S done for KH team to start work on KH3 (or at least whenever they finish Versus XIII). Seems we've got a lot of waiting to do. I'll go grab some popcorn.

i think the osaka team will be working on it cus namura said that they will make one kh game every year so maybe they will release 3d early 2012 then work on bbsv2 and release it at early 2013

well...nomura is creating ideas in any kh games thats coming.

i heard the 3d is in very good process of creation,so i quess its released in japan in end of this year

What is Jupiter up to these days? Personally, I think it needs to be the Osaka team that makes BbSV2. It may lose continuity if it's not. Anyway, can it really be that hard to make BbSV2? If it is in fact for the PSP and not the NGP, couldn't they just reuse most of the engine from BbS and whatnot? Besides, I thought BbSFM's Secret Episode was a demo for the game. If that's so, couldn't they have a lot done already? Some people think voice acting is getting done, too. Otherwise it would have been somewhat pointless to bring back Megumi Toyoguchi just to say those few lines in the Secret Episode and Secret Ending...

You don't have to worry about continuity. Square's quality control is pretty good about not letting continuity breaks get through.
