Release in Europe? Can anyone confirm it for the game page?

Posted

We already know that it has been confirmed for a release in North America and Australia. But what about Europe? Anyone know?

We need this for the game page.

I'm confused. When was it confirmed for a release in Australia?

There's no confirmation for Europe.

EB Games and K-Zone confirmed it.

There's no confirmation for Europe.

Okay, thanks.

I think, since it's a major game in the series, that it will come out in Europe as well. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but I think that it will be. As far as I know, the only game that didn't reach Europe is Re:CoM.

I don't see how it could NOT come out in Europe...

This might be off topic but will this game have a final mix? I don't want to buy an ENglish version and randomly find out that there is going to be a final mix after all like Birth By Sleep.

There's no way to know at this point, but it's safe to assume there will be.

HOWEVER! the 3DS is region locked, you'd need a Japanese 3DS to play Final Mix (Unless the fourth time is the charm, and Square actually releases Final Mix elsewhere... unlikely)

We won't know until KH3D reaches the States. If there is additional stuff added to the US KH3D that wasn't on the Japanese one, then there will be a Final Mix. But if there isn't, there won't be. There are only three games that have Final Mixes. KH1, KH2, and BBS, all of which the US versions had extra stuff.

Except KH2.

Except KH2.

Unless you count the censorship.

Their all the main chapters though.

Chapter 0

Chapter 1

and Chapter 2.

Dream Drop Distance wont have a remake.

Not extra.

Kingdom Hearts II was improved in the sense it's colors were better. Bugs and glitches were probably also fixed. As they were in the English version of Kingdom Hearts.

You said they confirmed a release date in the states what is it?

They haven't confirmed it. It was a question about if it will be released.

It has only been confirmed to be released in North America and Australia.

The game isn't even close to being finished so how could there be a release date for the English version yet?

It's pretty obvious this game will be coming out in Europe. But then again, this is considered KH 2 and 1 half. And KH 1 and 1 half (KH:Re:COM) didn't come out in Europe. So who knows for sure. The answer to your question will be revealed at E3 '11.

Re:CoM didn't, but the original CoM for the GBA did. Re:CoM was just a PS2 remake with a couple added things that originally came with KH2FM+ as a bonus to Japanese Players. However, the demand for it in the US was so great that they decided to sell just Re:CoM in the US. However, no other country demanded it enough for SE to send it anywhere else. However, the GBA version did have an international release.

Except KH2.

Duh, Sephiroth.

Duh, Sephiroth.

You could fight Sephiroth in the Japanese KH2. It was just the Japanese KH1 that didn't have Sephiroth.
