Kind of awesome in my option, since I love vocaloid. It finally means they're getting some love from the USA.
But yeah, these are supposedly going to air in America.... It was commissioned and made by Toyota America, not Japan. The American company went ahead and made the deal with Crypton. It was made by an American company, for Americans.
The commercials don't make any sense though....
But they both show images of the Vocaloid Live concert, which I soooo want to come on an American Tour...
The commercials apparently are coming out on television within this upcoming week? But to me they won't really do much to promote sales imo unless they're trying attract Vocaloid fans to the car. XDD -- That's what I really don't get. It seriously was made for an American audience, but does this really mean they're trying to launch Vocaloid's (or in this case, Miku) fame in the US even though probably barely anyone knows what a "Miku" or a "Vocaloid" really is?
However, Crpyton (the main Vocaloid Company) HAS mentioned an english bank for Miku not too long ago, which might be related to why they're showing her more in America now. Mehh, who knows.
But kudos to Miku for getting out over here finally. o3o
