EDIT (6-17-10): I have officially scrapped this fanfic. -w-;; It's getting no where, and I really don't like it that much anymore. xD

A NamiDem (Namine x Demyx) fanfic. :3 It's mostly about how Namine got to Castle Oblivion. There's also a bit about Demyx's backstory. :D I posted this on deviantArt as well and I'll post future chapters here if enough people like it. :D

Prologue

(Namine's Point of View)

I looked around me. Where the heck am I? Nothing is familiar. Yet I feel like I've been here before. I silently walked over to a small pool a couple feet in front of me. I sighed quietly to myself as I looked into the pool. Who am I? The only thing I can remember was my name. Namine. Namine, Namine, Namine. For some reason, I felt like my name was important....like it wasn't just randomly chosen. Why couldn't I remember anything? I was helpless, useless. Confused. I started silently crying. My tears rolled off my cheek and fell into the water, the ripples destroying my reflection.

"I'm no one," I said softly to myself, "I'm just a--"

"Hey!" A voice exclaimed. I quickly turned around. Standing a couple yards behind me was a tall figure. He was wearing a long black cloak, and his hood hid his face.

"Hello! I didn't think that anyone else knew about this place!" He said. His voice was friendly, but I didn't trust him. I didn't trust anyone right then.

I looked for a place to run. I spun around. Bad idea. I slipped on one of the many rocks that surrounded the pool and fell headfirst into the deep water.

"Oh my gosh! Hold on! Try and tread water! I'll help you!" The black cloaked figure exclaimed.

But before he could help me, I hit my head on the side of the rock pool. My world turned black as I slowly started to lose consciousness.

Chapter 1

(Namine's point of view)

My eyes blinked open. As soon as they were fully open, I wished they were still closed. Standing over me was the black cloaked figure who had scared me into the pool. I jumped up and started to back away from him. I was in a dark sewer-like area. The ground was wet and slippery, and my sandals slid after every step.

"WHO ARE YOU?! WHERE DID YOU TAKE ME?! WHY ARE YOU WEARING A BLACK CLOAK?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?! TAKE ME BACK!" I screamed at him.

"Whoa whoa! Inside voice, inside voice!" He said. His voice was slightly squeaky and not as deep as I expected it to be, but it sounded beautiful. Almost angelic. But I still didn't trust him.

"ANSWER ME!" I kept yelling.

"Okay, okay! Just stop yelling!" He said, putting his hands over where his ears would be, "My name is Demyx. Right now, we're in a place I like to call 'The Nocturne's Hideout'. Cheesey, I know, but I couldn't think of another name," He smiled goofily from under his hood. The only part of his face I could see was his mouth. "And I really don't have a clue why I'm wearing this cloak. Dress code, I guess," He slowly removed his hood. I soon knew why he was removing it with such care.

Underneath his hood, he had one of the craziest mullets I had ever seen. It was wild and messy, like a rockstar's, yet it was perfect. He had a smooth, pale face that matched his voice perfectly. He had deep blue eyes that looked like two beautiful pools of water. He was like a dark angel.

"Yeah...I'm not much of a looker, but you can't have everything, y'know?" He shrugged and continued smiling.

"Are you kidding?! You're gorgeous!" I wanted to say.

But I didn't. Instead I said, "But why did you take me? Why did you kidnap me?!"

Demyx sighed and looked at his feet, all of his cheerfulness vanished.

"I didn't kidnap you. I saved your life. You fell into a deep pond and hit your head. If I HADN'T brought you here, you would have drowned."

Almost as soon as he said this, at throbbing pain started in my head. That must have been where I hit my head. I coughed up a moutful of water and continured backing away from him.

"Ugh...." I moaned.

"Wait! Don't move! You could have a head injury! Let me help--"

"No! I-I d-don't want you h-h-help! Leave me alone. I'm fine....." I collapsed on the ground. The last thing I saw before I passed out was Demyx rushing over to me, his face flushed with worry.

Chapter 2

(Demyx's Point of View)

"Namine?! Namine, can you hear me?" I ran over to her. She was out cold. I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Why can't someone listen to me for once?" I said, mostly to myself. I scooped Namine up in my arms. Gosh, she's light!

"She's pretty too....." I stopped myself, "No, musn't get too attached. Who knows what Xemnas will..."

I studied her face again. I realized that she looked strikingly familiar to--Oh my gosh.

"No. She isn't. She can't be. It's not true." But it is true. She looked almost exactly like Kairi.

"But she can't be....no. It's true. It won't do me any good deny it." I shook my head. I carried her into my ship and placed her gently on the couch.

"Should I tell her? No. Maybe it's best if....maybe it's best if she doesn't know what she is. Maybe it's best if she doesn't know that she's not supposed to exist."

Chapter 3

(Namine)

I was sitting on the shore of a small island. I listened to the soft sound of water hitting the shore. There was a loud sound behind me. I turned around to see a boy with spiky brown hair lying on the sand a couple feet away from me. A malicious smile spread across my face. I waltzed over to the sleeping boy and leaned over him.

That''s really good (:
