Well, I just heard from a reliable source that Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 will be one of the NGP's first games and it will be coming out in between October and December. Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 has been confirmed for the Sony NGP and will be coming out around the holiday season. That's how you know the NGP will be coming out this year. So that might give it a little bit of time to compete with Nintendo's 3DS. I truly hope the NGP has high sales and that this won't be a major disapointment for Sony. Now the only concern for the NGP is price which Sony is fighting over. Let's cross our fingers and hope it is affordable (Note: I'll still be getting it if the price is high).

Reliable source is not automatically reliable.

The only way I will get an ngp is if there is a KH game, FF game, or sonic game for it.

I'll still wait for Sony's announcement...

Always remember this when it comes to gaming news: wait for the company to confirm it, not "a reliable source". Don't assume.

E3 is coming up soon, so if Sony has anything set up for the NGP, like this harry potter game being discussed here for example, they'll probably showcase it there at E3.

It was already stated for the holidays, so the last 3 months are the only choices. lol

Well, sorry for correcting you, I'm just the kind of guy who wants things to look perfect, y'kbow? And I can't control double posts. It's the computer I have that's messing things up. (Bad computer, bad! http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif ) And I get kind of agitated at folks who want video game companies to fight. You're right. I just wanted people to know that the NGP will be coming out this year not next year. If you think about technicly like I am, this is some pretty informative news.

Release date =/= Year of release. Plus it was revealed that it would be released this year when the actual system was announced, so this is 4 month old news.

Fighting progresses both sides. But the war on terror is a war on a concept, how do you even defeat that?

There's a reason for that. Sure the NGP looks good, but it's really just a bunch of technology stuck together, offering nothing really worth the price. Believe it or not, it's not normal for a company to sell consoles at a huge price, and still not turn a profit.
