Live Action/Animated Disney Movies

Posted

So, I’ve been thinking… does anyone think that Disney movies that are animated and live action could work for KH? On one hand, the characters would blend in quite well in the animated portions (as they always do), but I’m left wondering how the rest of it would work out. Anyway, here’s a list of movie’s I’ve found that are both live action and animated. Feel free to tell me how you think they might work, and if there are similar Disney movies I forgot to mention, feel free to let me know! I just realized

I haven’t seen a lot of these movies. I Guess I have some watching to do:)

Here’s the list:

Enchanted

Mary Poppins

James and the Giant Peach

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Pete’s Dragon

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (I actually don’t think this one’s Disney, but I put it here just in case.)

Actually, I mean movies that start out animated or live action, but then switch to the other. Have you seen Enchanted by any chance? Movies like that. In Andalasia they were drawn, but when they went to New York they were real people. Hope I'm not confusing you guys too much.

I think that'd be pretty cool. If they do that, I just hope they do a better job of making Sora blend in the 'live-action' setting, unlike how in KH2, in Port Royal, it looked a bit off.

Completely agree. That's why I'm wondering how well these would work. If they just used the animated portion it'd be perfect, but then the point of the movie would be lost, so...

As much as I love Pirates and the world, they really did stick out like a sore thumb.

No, I would hate to see any of those worlds in Kingdom Hearts. And "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is also owned by Warner Bros so that would never happen.

Too true. Some of these would not work at all. I just thought I'd post this to see what you guys thought. These types of movies are interesting. I thought Who Framed Roger Rabbit was Warner Brothers. Thanks for clearing that up.
