Sony said today it will fully restore PlayStation Network and Qriocity services in the Americas, Europe/PAL territories and Asia - excluding Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea - by the end of this week. Service updates for Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea will be available at a later date.

 

Full restoration for PSN includes:

 

 

 

- Full functionality on PlayStation Store

 

- In-game commerce

 

- Ability to redeem vouchers and codes

 

- Full functionality on Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3, PSP, VAIO and other PCs

 

- Full functionality on Media Go

"We have been conducting additional testing and further security verification of our commerce functions in order to bring the PlayStation Network completely back online so that our fans can again enjoy the first class entertainment experience they have come to love," said Kazuo Hirai, Executive Deputy President, Sony Corporation. "We appreciate the patience and support shown during this time."

Yes, i'm happy about the outage. It let Sony know who their real supporters are, now that the weak supporters left onto Microsoft. Anybody with PSN add me.

I doubt Sony cares at all about the users of the PSN. Certainly they don't care about 'loyalty'

Sony clearly doesn't respect the people that ARE coming back, haven't you noticed that the free games have all received sequels (Or will soon) and besides that everything else is a demo?

I can't wait for the free downloads. I'm getting LittleBig Planet and Infamous as my 2 free games.

dead nation,superstardust hd and wipeout hd don't have sequal coming.

Ign gave all them games over 7.5 there good games.Superstardust hd and wipeout are some best games of the store and there not demos.The 30 free plus gaves free games for month.Some weekend you will get free movies.There also the free psp games.I though sony's pr was bad but the welcome back package is a good deal

It's a good deal for anybody who didn't have to change their credits cards
