story: several teenagers are in a plane crash and make it to an island and have to survive and find a way off of the island

Bio: Hazel used to live in a small town in Tennessee and grew up on a farm. When she was going to going to visit her older brother, the plane she was on crashed.

Jamie smiles his agreement to Austin's "FOOD" proclamation. Making sure the snake was dead, he pokes at a few times. Sure the boa is dead, he turns to watch Austin use the different leaves on Maya's ankle.

"Pretty fast thinkin'." Jamie complements Austin. "You got medical trainin'?"

She sat up and smiled. "It seems like he does. Thank you, Austin." she said quietly. She tried to get up but fell down. "Well this isn't working." she laughed weakly. "Ow this really hurts," she whispered. "but it feels better." she said she looked up at Austin and smiled. "Could you guys help me get back to the shelter?" she said, trying to get up, she fell again, and giggled at herself.

Austin laughed a little too.

"Hey Jamie, can you help?"

Back at the shelter, Austin started a fire. He grabbed to forked sticks and put another straight laying on the forks. He then put the snake on there. He gathered some more of the banana leaves. Laying them on the tent, he traveled for some sap to make it stronger. On the way, he gathered some fruits.

Maya looked over at the snake, she couldn't wait to eat the stupid thing after it bit her and almost killed Austin. She saw Austin coming back to the shelter and asked, "Do you have medical training?". She looked at her ankle and thought, 'Austin couldn't just know how to do that.'.

"Umm, sorta...as you say medical training."he mumbled.

"But I don't think so..."he said. He grabbed a stick and stuck it into the snake. The blood was literally boiling.

"I don't know..."he said. Austin tried to grab the snake. It burned at his touch. Frantically, Austin started to worry.

What if it's not enough? Austin thought.

Even though Boa Constrictors aren't poisonous...

The body of the boa constrictor was huge. Austin grabbed the stick it was on and layed it onto a flat stone.

"You eat Maya,"he said,"I'm going to make weapons..."

Austin grabbed a stick and got to work.

Maya smiled. "I could make weapons. You eat. You've done a lot for me and I'd like to return the favor." she said. "Besides, you seemed pretty excited earlier when you killed the snake. And...it's all my fault that it almost killed you...and I'm so sorry..." she said sadly. It's all my fault.. she thought.

After Jamie helped Austin get Maya back to camp, he worked on sharping more sticks to be in case more boas were around. He also makes a quick trip to the downed plane and scavenges some sharp bits of metal he can turn into knives and a first-aid kit. He also finds a suitcase with several pairs of thick work pants. He lugs all this back to the fire. He sits down and starts tearing strips of cloth from the pants to make handles for the make shift knives.

"Feeling better?" He asks Maya.

Maya took her eyes off of her ankle and looked up to see Jamie. "Yeah. Much better. Thanks to Austin." she said as she looked at Austin. "So, how'd your little weapon making trip go? Is there still some useful stuff in the plane?" She asked.

"Yup."Austin said. He handed Maya a spear. He grabbed his bow and arrow. The spear Austin made for Maya was a stick and a sharp rock tied to the end of it using banana leaf. Austin's bow was made of hardwood stick, feathers, and he used his Swiss Army Knife for fletching. Austin also made a small knife for Jamie, made of broken glass from the remains of the airplane.

"Oh yeah.."he said. He handed Jamie the knife. He stuck his Swiss Army knife into the snake and started cutting it.

Austin took a bite. It wasn't the worst. It wasn't the best. It sorta tasted like lobster without butter. Austin didn't mind. He took out some of the tropical fruits and cut them into slices. "Lunch is served..."he snickered.

Maya also laughed.

Later, when everyone was finished with lunch, Maya was able to stand up. "I'm gonna go back into the jungle and look for some more people. k?" she said as she walked away with a slight limp.

She walked to where she saw the other shelter earlier, watching out for snakes. "Helloooo." she called out and waited for a response. Nothing. She walked closer to the shelter and it appeared to be made out of parts of the plane. "So there is someone else." she whispered to herself. She walked around the shelter to see if she could find anyone.

When Austin was done eating, he went to the shore part of the island. He took out three coconuts with their top chopped off. Austin still kept the tops. He started to gather water for the three of them. The breeze was cold. When Austin was done scooping the water, he put back on the lids of the coconuts and tied the lid to the coconut together. He grabbed a cooking pot from the plane and scooped some water into it and started back into the campsite. Once he was there, he placed the pan onto the fire. Once the water started to boil, he dropped the 3 coconuts there. Once the water boils inside the coconuts, the water would be fresh and not salt.

"All is well..."Austin said. He went inside the shelter and took a quick nap.

Well someone's been here..., Maya thought. "I'll just come back later. Someone is probably gonna show up sometime." she said to herself.

She walked back to the shelter and she looked inside of it and saw Austin asleep. "Awww..." she laughed. She walked back out to the fire. "He does deserve a break. He's been working really hard." she said. She looked around and nobody was there. "I wonder where everyone went..." Maya said as she sat down by the fire.

Austin woke up. He saw Maya sitting down. The water was furiously boiling, so then Austin grabbed a stick. He then stuck it through the loops of the bow he made with the banana leaf. He held it and handed it Maya. He picked up another coconut with the same technique and kept it in his lap. Austin picked up another coconut and gave it too Jamie.

"Drink it. It's fresh water."he said. Austin unraveled the string and waited for the water to cool down. Once it cooled down, he took a sip. The water tasted fresh. It was the best thing he ever tasted. Austin started to drink it. It felt so good. Once he was halfway, he closed the coconut and tied it with the banana leaf.

Maya opened the coconut and drank some of the water inside of it. "Mmmm...water..." she smiled and said, "Thanks Austin. It's better than anything they had on the plane." she laughed. She closed the coconut the same way Austin did and sat it down. "We need to make a plan to get off of the island. Don't you guys think? I mean we can't stay here forever." she said.

"Well, we were going back to the United States right? Our did you make stops. Anyways, I'm pretty sure there's already a search group looking for us."he said.

"Plus, it'd be easier if we had everyone who survived to come here."he said."If they sent a helicopter, they'd see the group of us."

The sun was slowly setting.

"I'm going try to find some food."he said.

He ran into the shores. There, he found some bugs. He grabbed some and stuffed them into his zipper pocket. He saw the ocean. It was streaming with fish. He jumped into the water and started to grab them. The fish were to slippery. Finally, he got a medium sized salmon. He ran, while grabbing the fish by it's fin. His finger acted like a hook, his finger under it'll fin and through it's mouth, looking as if it was throwing up a finger. Austin ran until he reached the campfire. He then killed the fish. After that, he started to cut the fish. He ran again with another coconut into the shore and got water, but he didn't wash it. Austin started to degut the fish. Once he was done. He splashed it with the water. He then threw the fish into the pot, which was full of water, and threw the bugs into it too.

Reminds me of LOST. Might as well remember how awesome that series was. : )

Bio:Elizabeth is an orphan originaly from an island of the carribean who has been moving from one foster home to another for years. She was on the plane on her way to yet another foster home when she felt the plane shake,heard screams,felt the panic and pressure of fast velocity,and then blank as the plane crashed...

accepted! (ya it kinda reminds me of Lost too lol)

 

"I guess I'll go look around the Island for people, again..." Maya said.

She walked through the thick jungle in search of someone, anyone. She heard rustling noises in some plants and saw a quick flash of orange and ran away as fast as she could. Please don't be a tiger, please don't be a tiger!, she thought franticly as she ran. She tripped on the root of a tree that was sticking out of the ground and she fell on her face. "Ow! Crap!" She yelled. She got up and looked around. She thought she saw a girl about her age with brown hair somewhere. "Helloooo! Anyone there!?" she called out.

Austin was boiling the bugs and the salmon. Once he saw the bugs expand he swiped them out of the water and stabbed them with the knife, and took out the heart and ripped of the teeth and the legs and arms. He did this to the rest of the 2. He then took out the salmon and started to cut it and take out the bones. The salmon looked tempting to eat. But then, he started to serve the salmon. He left some on the serving stone and ate some. Austin was tired. He gathered some soft fuzz he found on the ground and a banana leaf for a blanket. He walked into the shelter and fell asleep fast.

Elizabeth opened her eyes. She saw treetops and a blue sky. She slowly satted up and felt her body ache. The last thing she remembered were screams...and blank. She satted up and looked around her. She saw she was fine. Just a few cuts and bruises. And backpain from crashing on the roots of a tree. She waited for the pain to go away and she slowly stood up. She looked at her watch. It was broken. Where was she,she had no idea. She just knew that whatever happened,it had her screwed up for the moment. Unable to contain her anger. She took a deep breath and then letted out a really frustuating yet loud scream to let her anger out.

Maya heard a loud scream. "Found someone." she said.

She looked around again and walked around where she heard the scream come from. "HELLOOOOO!!!!" she shouted. "Is anyone there?! Come on, I know someone's out there!"

Elizabeth heard someone yell,since the person had heard her scream,now was looking for her. Elizabeth then she stood still and walked around and could see a girl from the distance. She stared at her. She didn't smiled or felt happy. This was her attitude she would be happy,or not,and wouldn't really care. She walked over to the girl and stood behind her. "Looking for me?"

"Oh! Hi there. I was just going around looking for people who made it through the crash. Guess I found one. Me and a few other people have set up a place to stay at for the time being. You can stay with us if you'd like...or you could take your chances alone, but i suggest you come with us." she giggled.

After carefully making the knives, Jamie gave one to Austin and went off to find Maya to give her one. He heard Maya calling for someone. Jamie moves closer to see Elizabeth behind Maya.

Jamie moves closer to the two girls.

"Looks like we're gettin' more friends all the time." Jamie says with a smile.

He hands one of the make-shift knives to Maya, then turns his attention to Elizabeth.

"Hi, I'm Jamie. What's your name?"

Ryan Hall had been pacing around the island with a backpack and his notebook making landmarks trying to make a basic map of his new home. So far he only had a couple like a large lake on what appeared to be on the west side of the island. He decided to head back to his shelter to drop his stuff off and then go find some food. He ran through the forest and ran by the shelter and put his backpack down and put the notebook in and pulled out a small pocket knife prepared to find something to eat. He quickly walked away oblivious to the fact that he was following some recent tracks of a fellow human.

Maya heard the sound of someone else. "Hey Jamie, I'll be right back. I think I heard something." she said. She walked a little while and then stoped to see if she could hear any other noise. "Anyone there?" she yelled.
