Posted July 4, 201114 yr It's been going around for 3 years....what are your thoughts? It's obvious she's guilty
July 22, 201114 yr There's no point hating her. None of you are related to her, so why hate her when you don't know her personally. Sure, she took an innocent life to further her own selfish desires, but there is no point singling this woman out. These sort of things happen everyday, thousands of people do it and get away scott free, would you hate them too if the media concentrated on each one seperately? Just mo here. In that case I shouldn't hate Ted Bundy. Sure he murdered dozens and raped their dead bodies but I'm sure If I sit down and get to know him he will turn out to be a nice guy. Heh, when I read this thread I thought ppl were raging. There's nothing new here though, as I said these things have happened and will happen. The Nazi's did worse than this to 6 million times the people and the majority of them got away with it. The Nazi's didn't even kill them for their own gain, they had nothing to gain from them, they only viewed them as inferior. Actually most Nazis didn't get away. The only Nazis that contributed significantly to the genocides were the SS. Even Hitler's adjutant Otto Gunche didn't commit nor support any of the war-crimes. The Russians killed any SS members they came across (even if they surrendered) as well as regular Wehrmacht soldiers who probably didn't even know genocide was happening. The Wehrmacht and other less specialized branches of the military thought that the Jews were simply moved to another location and were living comfortably (as seen in propaganda films designed to quell rumors of the death camps). Of course the reality was different but only special forces and high ranking officers had actual knowledge of the death camps and most of them were convicted or killed before the Nuremberg Trials. Of course a few got away, but most of the ones that did were not soldiers, but doctors and scientist (specifically ones that worked on the wunderwaffe projects such as the V series of rockets).
August 10, 201114 yr The point of a trial in America is to prove that 'without Reasonable Doubt', someone commited the crime that they were accused of. All the evidence against her was circumstantial, things like "She was here when this happened", and "She did this x weeks before this". If there were more forensics, sure, she could have gotten convicted, but there weren't, and because of this, there could be Reasonable Doubt, in which case, beholds a non-guilty verdict. Did Casey Anthony kill her daughter? Maybe. Did she get away with murder? Most people seem to think so. But I seriously doubt that a jury would make a decision like this unless they believed it was the correct decision, that a reasonable mind could find doubt in the prosecution's claims. So there's something to think about; her not guilty verdict doesn't necesarily mean she didn't kill her daughter, it means that there's too much doubt to name her guilty, in which case, the jury absolutely did NOT make a mistake. Honestly, I think that this gained WAY too much media attention, and that everyone had already convicted her of being guilty before the trial even started, which is why so many are outraged. If it hadn't gotten so much attention, people wouldn't be so outraged as they are now. Plus there's always the possibility that, you know, she DIDN'T do it. There's always that...
August 10, 201114 yr Hmm, I didnt think it was going on for that long, I heard about that stuff a couple months ago.
August 26, 201114 yr It's not nessecarily that we hate her, just that it's hard to stomach that she killed an innocent little girl and was acquitted. It's not an easy thing to accept justice being denied when it's obvious she was the killer. And yes, it is frustrating when others get off without punishment, but I think something really stirred people with the Casey Anthony trial. The fact that she'd kill her own helpless child for her own gain. Good post. I'm in complete agreement.
August 28, 201114 yr I was watching a bio on Casey Anthony. Where should I start? She almost dropped out of high school, and had a one night stand with some guy she met at a club and that's how she had her daughter. She lived with her parents and stole money from them, and from her Grandma's account. At one point, she started to take checks away from her ex friend, who later became bankrupt. She would leave her child with her parents to go get drunk and have more sex. (=.=) Then her daughter was "kidnapped", after she dropped her off at a fake nanny's house. Kylie (is that how you spell her daughter's name?) was missing for 31 days. Meanwhile, Casey was partying more and ignoring her mother who wanted to know where her granddaughter. Finally she called the cops and led them on a goose case. They found Kylie, DEAD in a small woods by Casey's house. If you ask me, she had a probable cause for killing her daughter. She was a negligent mother who had lots of sex and had one to many hangovers. I think she did it, but since she can't be trialed again, (the double jeopardy law or something i think) we may never know the truth.

I still say she killed her own daughter. right now she's in hiding just like the coward she is cause she can't face the world
August 29, 201114 yr I heard of this before but I never really knew about it. Well so today I went and googled it up to see why everyone is raging about it. I don't understand why is she not guilty.
It's been going around for 3 years....what are your thoughts?
It's obvious she's guilty
