With the Wii U coming out Ive asked myself if there was a possibility that KH3 might be on it. Now I know Square Enix works with Nintendo sometimes (obviously) which raises this question. Considering the Wii U is an HD console, there is a large chance it might be on it, but on the other hand the controller may not have the ability to produce the graphics that the console has which would make it sort of a hassle to switch from T.V. to controller. Of course, this game isnt in the making yet so who knows what is going to happen.

Square Enix is a business

 

The goal of a business is to make money.

 

The PS3 has sold the least out of the three major consoles.

 

The Wii has sold the most.

 

Xbox 360 is in the middle.

 

If SE only makes KH3 a PS3 exclusive, than they won't make as much money as they can, which remember is the goal of any business. Widening their horizons to the Wii (U) and Xbox 360 gives them more people who can buy KH3 thus allowing them to make more money.

 

In short there is no reason whatsoever that they wouldn't want to make KH3 multiplatform. It's just not worth it.

Ps3 came one year later than xbox 360 did but in sales

Ps3 is at 50 million as of March 29th 2011

360 is at 55 million as of June 3rd 2011

They can make it excluvies and still make good profit.If one of big three pay them to keep it an excluvies then they would make fine profit.I do agree though if they want to go multiplatform,They could easily make more profit.

There are two numbered titles. People seem to forget that. It's not like there's a trend or anything. KH2 was just released on the PS2 because at the time it was the only viable console for the project.

I mean, it was the third KH game ever made, now look at how many tehre are. Don't you think things would have changed?

Now that I think about it, Square probably WILL release KH3 on as many consoles as they can (Keep in mind that the PS3, or Wii U, or 3DS, or whatever, might be the ONLY console that KH3 would work for) so they can get such an important game to as many fans as possible.

 

If you consider what he said about BBS (that we must consider it as KH0) you could say it's kind of a numbered title for us and it was on a PS console. Nothing it's written yet, it's just a guess. I thought that too they might release it for other consoles. BEING the last in the Xehanort Saga makes people to want it and if he can get all those people through many consoles I think it's a great chance.
