I think that kingdom hearts 3D will focus on sora and rikus mom test. From the trailer, it appears that they are starting kh1 again with riku and sora wondering how far a raft could take them. Without kairi. Yet, kairis model was in bbs for the 3d trailer. So I think that kairi may be needed to get to namine inside her. Namine could rewrite the memories of sora and those connected to him ( riku ). While they're sleeping, she could bring them back to the day before it ever happened in their memories. Bring them back to destiny islands, then use the journals to create a data-ansem and a data-xemnes. They could be programed to follow orders and test sora and riku. With no memory of their friends, they will be tested on their strength alone. This would see if they really are masters. While they're being tested. Mickey could do some behind the scenes work and ask terra's lingering sentiment from kh2fm what happened. Then he'll learn about xehanorts taking of terra's body if he didn't already know. And that aqua went in the realm of darkness to save him which saved xehanort in the process. When mx fell to darkness, however that happened, his heart was released and then came back to his sentiment. Then Mickey will go to the realm of darkness to find aqua and ask her about ven. It could end with sora and riku waking up and remembering everything again ( not com ). Then they could wake up to find aqua and lingering sentiment who will recognize them. They will then be told about ven and how vens heart is in soras. They'd know cause in coded Mickey was told that he had a very special connection with one of them and how sora looks like ven.

I love the thought of adding Namine back into the equation, god knows she could use a better role in the storyline.

i saw a few trailers and yes i was wrong. yen sid had them open the keyhole of sleep which put them in the realm of dreams, if they escape then he will consider them masters. the new enemies are dream eaters who devour dreams. by the looks of the trailer, sora and riku somehow befriend some of these possibly because of the strength of their hearts. i think that when they escape, some of the dream eaters follow them out of the realm of dreams and terrorize people. xehanort has revived and is probably looking for aqua, terras sentiment, and ven. as evident in 358 days, xemnes was very keen on making sure that they checked every room of castle oblivion. since he had xehanorts memories, i assume that he was looking for the land of departure to find ven, instead he found castle oblivion where the land of departure should have been. so he figured that eraqus had something to do with it and claimed it as an organization headquarters to search for vens crippled body in there. so he was searching for ven then he still would be.after they wake, i assume that they will try to find aqua. when they do, sora and aqua would go to co to find ven and give him his heart back. riku and mickey would try to track down xehanort and hold him off until sora, ven, and aqua come back. xehanort would have gained control of the escaped dream eaters and use them to cover his escapes. with his failure for finding ven at co he would be searching other worlds for him, just in case though, he would have filled co with heartless, nobodies, and most likely dream eaters. i assume as in most fairy tales, ven would be in the highest room in the tallest tower of castle oblivion. i think that ddd will end with sora and aqua reaching co and riku and mickey having found that xehanort has found some way to make more of himself ( nomora has said that yen sids question, what would you do if there was more than one of him, meant just that, what if there was more then one xehanort) after defeating some sort of clone of him. my possible theories for the other xehanorts are.
