Alex walked up to the front door's of Shibusen and looked up at the towering building. "So this is the DWMA? I hope I can find a good partner here." Alex said with a confident smile. He didn't know why, but Alex had a feeling about this place. "I'm pretty early for now, so there's no rush. I can have a look around and see if I can find myself a partner." Alex walked up to the front doors and teachers were greeting the new students by giving them tags that said 'Weapon' or one's that said 'Meister'. Alex walked up to the teacher at the front door. "Name?" "Alex silver cross." The teacher looked down a piece of paper and fouund his name, she then gave him a tag that said 'Weapon'. "Welcome to the DWMA." "Thanks." Alex said with a smile and then walked through to the main hall were other students were meating each other and pairing up. "Looks like I got some competition." Alex said with a confident smile.

Shizu thought about it and didn't think he had any souls but he thinks he has one from on the journey. "Yeah just one I think. When I was coming a kishin attacked me and I got it. So all we need is 98 souls, and I think we can go on missions from the DWMA maybe soon." Shizu told her as he got in his room and said "See you in the morning.". Shizu got on his bed and looked at the ceiling "I wonder how we use that soul residence? What is mine called anyway?" He thought out loud until he fell asleep.

The next morning Kara woke up earlier then usual and got ready for school. After she got her shower and got dressed, she walked into the kitchen opened the refrigerator and was lucky enough to have found three lone eggs. "Hm I guess I could make breakfast. I mean school doesn't start for two more hours." She began making eggs and when they were done she placed them on two plates, placing two eggs on Shizu's plate and one on hers. She looked at the clock, "Better get him up now I suppose," she said walking over to his room and knocking on the door. "Shizu, it is time to get up. I made breakfast," she called through the door but received no reply. "Shizu," she banged on the door louder. "Wake up," she tried again hoping for a response. "Don't make me come in there," she threatened.

Shizu was still fast asleep on his bed and he had no intention of getting up. He was snoring and somewhat drooling, which told people that he was fast asleep and couldn't be woken up.

She knocked louder. "Shizu, we're going to be late!" She yelled opened in the door a little. "Come on Shizu," she said walking over to his bed and getnly shaking him. It did not work as well as she hoped so she stole his covers off him. "Come one wake up!" she shouted.

He snored loudly and opened his eyes. "Oh hey Kara. What time is it and do I smell eggs?" Shizu focused on the table and sees eggs and got up and went to the table. "Mmm eggs, my favorite breakfast." Shizu said eating the eggs. "But what time is it?" Shizu asked Kara who came out of his room.

DING DING DING DING

Shadow shot wide awake to the alarm clock. She went over to it and turned it off.

"School! Im gonna be late!" Shadow said getting up and getting dressed. She then hurried out the room and knocked on Suki's door.

"Hey wake up! We have school and we are gonna be late!" Shadow yelled through the door.

"I'm glad you like them," she said walking into the kitchen. She looked at the clock and went wide eyed. "We have twenty minutes to get to school," she said panicking.

suki hears shadow knocking on the door

i'm up i'm up

suki quickly gets dressed and heads toward the bathroom hey shoutes to shadow

hey shadow are you feeling better today

"Yeah i guess all that training got to my head." Shadow said as she put a plate on the table.

"Theres your breakfast." She said pointing to the table while picking up her book. She looked at it and made it vanish in thin air.

"Im all set." Shadow said.

Shizu finished his eggs and went in his room get dressed. He put on a blue and white jacket and denim jeans and walked out of his room with his backpack. "Hey you ready yet Kara?" He shouted from the kitchen.

suki sat down at the table and ate his breakfast afterwards he washes out his dishes

shadow your a great cook hey how did you make your book disappear and we have to jet school starts in 15mins

"Thanks Suki." She said smiling.

"The book? Oh its a trick i learned." She said as she scratched her head.

"Yeah we better go who knows what professor stein will do if we are late." Shadow said exiting the house and walking into the forest.

She walked into the kitchen, "Yeah, lets go," she replied opening the door. "I have an idea," she started. "Think of this as a trust exercise," she said looking at him. "I'm going to throw you out the window again. Right before you hit the ground transform into your human self. I'm going to jump out and you catch me. Is that okay?" she asked rethinking her plan. "On second thought, I can throw you can then I'll walk down the steps."

yea if we're late stein will disect us i wonder what we'll learn today i hope we get a mission today

suki and shadow walks out of the forest and into the city

"Yeah. We could use the kishin souls." Shadow said as she pulled her hair out of her face. They came to the base of the school and started walking up the long steps.

"Come on we better hurry!" Shadow said as she ran up the stairs and waited for Suki at the top.

those are alot of steps hey shadow how does souls taste have you ever eaten one?

"Yeah they taste good i guess." She said as she laughed.

"Ive only collected 3 souls in my entire life." Shadow said.

"I was just a kid then, fighting on my own." Shadow said recalling the memory.

suki puts his hands in his pockets and tilts his head toward the sky

hey shadow you collected 3 were they kishin souls or human souls?

"Kishin souls of course." Shadow said as she shivered.

"Is it me or is it just cold?" Shadow asked him.

'Why have i been so cold lately?' Shadow thought.

are you getting sick again

suki puts his hand on shadows head

hey shadow maybe i should take you to the nurse

Shadow started feeling dizzy.

"No im fine." She said as she shook it off.

"Lets go onto class." She said smiling.

hmmm...ok but as you show any signs of being sick i'm taking you to the nurse

please let her be ok. ''this is all my fault we trained to hard soul resonace put to much strain on her i'm a horrible meister''suki thought

"Okay." Shadow said as she started to put on her jacket. She walked into steins class and sat next to Suki. Shadow put her head on her desk. She then started coughing.

this crazy shadow is really sick i need to help her suki thought

hey shadow are you ok can you hold on a little longer i know your sick so stop saying your ok you need a doctor

suki stands up and calls stein.

mr.Stein my partner is sick may i escort her to the nurse

Stein:hmm what sees to ail her,maybe i should disect her to findout

suki:ummm no no no mr.stine please no cutting

stein:fine go

suki:thanks

suki rushes shadow to the nurse

hang in there shadow were almost there

"Im fine really." Shadow said.

'Hes actually really worried.' Shadow thought. Shadoe sighed.

"Suki you are over reacting." Shadow said.
