Alex walked up to the front door's of Shibusen and looked up at the towering building. "So this is the DWMA? I hope I can find a good partner here." Alex said with a confident smile. He didn't know why, but Alex had a feeling about this place. "I'm pretty early for now, so there's no rush. I can have a look around and see if I can find myself a partner." Alex walked up to the front doors and teachers were greeting the new students by giving them tags that said 'Weapon' or one's that said 'Meister'. Alex walked up to the teacher at the front door. "Name?" "Alex silver cross." The teacher looked down a piece of paper and fouund his name, she then gave him a tag that said 'Weapon'. "Welcome to the DWMA." "Thanks." Alex said with a smile and then walked through to the main hall were other students were meating each other and pairing up. "Looks like I got some competition." Alex said with a confident smile.

Alex was continuing to cut at Crona at an incredible rate and blood splattered all over his face as he did it. "This is it! This is where I cut you into pieces! Ha ha ha!" Alex said smiling insanely, Spirit was stood near the door and was just watching Alex go mad. "This isn't good, if Alex doesn't get his Madness under control, he'll be lost forever." Spirit then made a fist. "But I can''t interrupt this fight, it'll be suicide for me." Alex was then surrounded by a dark aura that loomed over him, taking the form of the little demon in his head. "This is who I am! THIS IS WHAT I AM!!!" Alex said as he carried on cutting Crona, Crona was simply staring at Alex with a blank expression. "Is this all that you can do?" Crona then smiled insanely. "This is pathetic!" Crona then began fighting back, guarding against all of Alex's attacks and cut him several times, causing Alex to be covered in deep cuts and blood. "You are inferior, you're only a small fry compared to my mother who I slaughtered." Crona said referring to Medusa, Alex was then falling back. "He he he, this is only the begining!" Alex was then stabbed by Crona's blades through the chest. "Oh yeah?! You're as good as dead!" Alex's maddening aura then began to fade away. "You're going to die, as an insane corpse." Alex's body then fell to the ground unconciouss. "You're pathetic." Crona then looked at Spirit. "Don't try and stop me! You have no chance against me!" Ragnarok then appeared in Crona's back and took on the form of a black dragon, bursting through the roof and flying into the sky. "I am going to the Kishin and it's madness will be mine." Spirit watched as Crona escaped. "Damn, this isn't good." Spirit then got over to Alex and checked for a pulse. "His heart beat is getting weaker and his body is bleeding severely, he won't make it unless we get him to a doctor right away." Spirit then got Alex onto his back and ran out searching for a doctor.

Dr.Frankenstein walked back around the city along with Alexia. "Now Alexia. Remember to train on your own from time to time,one day you might be send on a mission on your own while Alex is either taking a break or on a mission himself."Dr.Frankenstein says. Alexia noded. Dr.Frakenstein looked down at her and patted her head. "Now,no worries,ok?"Dr.Frakenstein says. He stared. "(The darkness in her hands...I've never seen anything like it....could it be...uncontrolled madness...?)"Dr.Frakenstein thinks. Suddenly they see a familiar face,Sid. He walked over to them. "Stein,Lord Death requires your asistance."Sid says. Dr.Frakenstein thought for a while. He then looked up for a second. "Come on Alexia. We need to get over to Lord Death."Dr.Frakenstein says. Dr.Frakenstein and Alexia then walked over to the Academy directly to Lord Death. They eventually ended up in his office. "Lord Death,you needed assistance?"Dr.Frakenstein asks as Alexia followed.

Spirit had found a doctor in town and had left Alex in his care. "Man, it seems he was more beat up than I originally thought, I'd better report this to Lord Death." Spirit then wrote the numbers '42-42-564' on a window and an image of the Death Room appeared. "Lord Death, can you hear me?" "Ya ya, I hear you Spirit, any luck finding the Kishin?" "No, but me and Alex ran into the Demon Sword." "And what was the outcome?" "Well, Alex was..." Spirit then noticed Alexia and Stein stood behind Lord Death and began to hesitate. "It's ok Spirit, Alexia should know if something bad has happened." Spirit gulped slightly. "Right, well... Alex fought the Demon Sword Crona and relied heavily on the Black Blood, going insane from it's power, he was eventually defeated by Crona." Spirit saw Alexia behind Lord Death as she listened. "Alex is alive, but..." Spirit gritted his teeth. "What's wrong with Alex?" Spirit then began talking slowly. "Alex was stabbed in the chest three times while his madness had swallowed him and now he's in a coma. The doctor says that he can treat Alex's wounds, but his mind had began to break down psycologically and we don't know if he'll wake up."

Alexia stared and her eyes slowly widen as Spirit proceded to give in the report. She started to shake her head as she felt her knees go weak. "No...no..."Alexia says. Dr.Frankenstein turned to her and stared at her hands as the blackness returned as started to spread. He rubbed her head and then got his hands on her shoulders. "Calm down Alexia,everything will be fine. Alex is still alive-"Dr.frankenstein says. "But we don't know if he'll wake up will we?What if he doesn't?Its my fault,I should of gone with him,no,I should of had him wait till he was stronger,I should of done something,I should of followed him..."Alexia says as she took a step back. "Calm down Alexia..."Dr.Frankenstein says as he got her hands together and then letted go as he felt them burn. "What the.."Dr.Frakenstein says. "I need to see him...I need to say I'm sorry..."Alexia says with water eyes. "Alexia..."Dr.frakenstein says as he rubbed her head.

Spirit saw as Alexia was getting out of control. "You don't have to go anywhere, I am going to bring Alex back as soon as possible." Spirit then turned to Lord Death and whispered to him. "You might want to keep an eye on her for now, who knows what she'll do." Spirit then looked back at everyone. "Alright then, I'll see all of you in a couple of hours, see ya." The window then returned to normal and Spirit was cut off from the Death Room. "I sure hope you wake up soon Alex, you've gotten someone very worried." Spirit then walked over to Alex who was in a bed with bandages over his chest area. "If it wasn't bad enough that you got stabbed in the chest three times, it also reoppened your old scar. With a cut that deep in you, I wouldn't even begin to imagine the pain. But the real fight is still going on, isn't it? The Black Blood inside of your body is slowly corrupting you, isn't it?" Spirit then sighed as he began to get ready for the trip back to Death City. "We still have your bike so we can get there within the next three hours, I just hope that you don't die in that time."

Alexia kept looking down with the dark presensce still sorrounding her hands. Dr.Frakenstein fixed his glasses. "Alexia. You should return home and rest. You must be tired and you need your rest."Dr.frakenstein says. "I'm not tired. I wanna stay here and wait with you till he gets here."Alexia says. Lord Death and Dr.Frakenstein stared at eachother. Then looked back at Alexia. "Now now my dear. I'm sure Alex is just fine. Spirit will have him here in a couple of hours. But right now you need to rest. We need you healthy and rested for their arrival. You wouldn't want to be to tired to walk by when they get here no don't you?"Lord Detah asks. Alexia looked up. "No but..."Alexia says. "Now Stein,take her home and be sure she gets rests. We'll tell you of their arrival when they get here."Lord Death says. Dr.Frakenstein nods and turned to Alexia. "Come on. Lets go young lady."Dr.Frakenstein says as he got Alexia to walk home,tears falling down her face and dripping down.

A few passed after Spirit reported to Lord Death, he was now arriving at Death City with the comatosed Alex. "Man, things aren't going to be pretty when we get back, I can tell that Alexia's gunna be a wreck." Spirit then arrived in the city and headed straight for the DWMA. "Alright, we're here." spirit noticed that Lord Death and Stein were already there waiting for them, without Alexia. "Welcome back Spirit, let's get Alex to the infirmary." "Right." Alex was then put on a stretcher and carried to the infirmary by two doctors. "The doctor in Italy told me that Alex's condition was critical, but knowing that he was a Death Scythe, I'd say he's gunna make a full recovery." Spirit then looked down. "That's what he said about the condition of Alex's body, but his mind is in much more danger right now. Alex relied a lot on the Black Blood during that last fight, he's lost and can't find his way back." Spirit looked up at Lord Death. "There's a posibility of three things happening. One, Alex will never wake up and remain in a coma for the rest of his life. Two, Alex will wake and return the way we remember him or three, if Alex wakes up..." Spirit was finding it a little hard to say. "... his sanity will be completely lost to the madness in his heart."

Dr.Frakenstein fixed his glasses. He then looked back up at Spirit and at Lord Death. "I dunno if we should. But she'll find soon anyways. So I suggest we call Alexia over,just to get it over with."Dr.Frakenstein says as he walked over to the phone.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Alexia was laying down on the sofa. She couldn't sleep. She just kept staring at the cieling,a million thoughts going through her mind over and over again. Her hands were still black with darkness. Was it madness?If so,what kind? To be able to prove off on skin,without showing any side effects yet so soon. "(I was a fool,I shouldn't of sended him on his own. I should of stopped him,or went with him.)"Alexia thinks. Alexia then heard the phone ring and she jumped up and walked over to it and picked it up. "Hello?"Alexia asks as she answered the phone. She heard Dr.Frakenstein and her eyes widen. "I'll get going!"Alexia says as she simply hanged and ran outside,slamming the door behind her and running off to the Academy.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Dr.Frakenstein stared at the phone and calmly setted it down. He then looked at Alex. "I highly hope for the first two options..."Dr.Frakenstein says. He looked away slightly. "I preffer...to have him back or simply have him sleep for eternity...than to strike down one of our own..."Dr.Frakenstein says.

Spirit looked at Stein. "Yeah, I understand what you're saying Stein, but we're not the ones who get to make that call." Spirit then looked up at Lord Death. "Well Lord Death, what are we going to do when worst comes to worst?" "Hmmmm, well this is a rather unfortunate event to have happened. Just when he begins his new journey as a Death Scythe, his life is put in grave danger. It comes to it then I will deal with Alex myself." Lord Death said, almost a little serious. Just then, the door burst open and Alexia was there. "Oh, so you're here, that was fast." Spirit then looked back at Alex and Lord Death turned at Alexia. "Stein, Spirit, we're going to wait outside for a bit, we'll leave Alexia alone with her partner for the time being." Stein and Spirit then got to there feet, following Lord Death's orders and left the room. "Try not to get too worked up Alexia, this wasn't your fault." Lord Death said to Alexia in a calm voice, but she didn't seem to listen. "I'll wait outside until you're finished, talk to me any time you'd like if something is bothering you." Lord Death then left the room, leaving Alexia with the comatosed Alex.

Alexia stared. Her eyes were watery. "Alex...no..."Alexia says. She walked over to him and stared down at him. He was asleep,yet bandages covered him over his wounds and bruises. Alexia shook her head. "Alex....I'm sorry..."Alexia muttered. Tears fell down her face and started to drip down. "I should of stopped you,I should of made you wait till you were stronger. I should accompined you at the very least. I should of know you've tried a stunt like this! Alex,I'm sorry!"Alexia said while crying,not thinking if he could hear her or not. She then got on her knees and just stared at him crying still. "I'm sorry I'm sorry,what kind of Miester am I?!"Alexia says as she cried still. She then carefully and gentlely took his hand and held it tight,hoping he would respond,even thought that might not be the case. "I'm sorry Alex I'm sorry. I should of been with you I should of stopped you I should of done something than to stay here!"Alexia says. "(Its my fault...I should of stopped him...if he wakes up...i...i need to make it up to him....any way possible...I..i don't know if I can even forgive myself...)"Alexia thinks.

Lord Death was stood outside the door with Stein and Spirit. "Sounds like she's not making this easy on herself, I can hear the crying from out here." "What did you expect Stein? I was expecting a reaction like this, it's not something we haven't seen before, now is it?" "I suppose." "All we can do now is hope that Alex's sanity is still intact in that mind of his." Lord Death said keeping his hopes up.

 

Alex's mind was trapped in the Black Room and he was imagining himself in the center of it wearing his suit. "Where am I? This isn't the same place as before?" "This is what I warned you of, Alex. I told you that if you unleashed the Black Blood for too long or relied heavily on it's strength, then you would not be the same again." Alex looked down at the small demon. "What have you done to me?!" "I haven't done anything, your own madness had overwhelmed you and has swallowed you whole. There is no way for you to find yourself back to reality." Alex gritted his teeth. "That's not true! I'll find my way out, I'll get back to the real world! I'll get back to Death City and be with my partner." "Your partner? You really think that girl can help you? She can't even get through to you now and she's holding your hand." Alex looked down at his hand and for some reason, it felt warm. "I..." Alex's hand became a fist. "I won't be beaten by you and your madness, Demon!" The demon then began chuckling. "Oh, we'll see about that." The demon said as he faded away.

 

In the real world, Alex's body remained still, only moving to breath as Alexia held onto him. (I'll find my way out, I have to! I've got to get back to her!) Alex thought to himself while still unconciouss, his hand then moved slightly in Alexia's hand before becoming still once again.

Alexia looked up feeling a slight movement from Alex's hand. She stared. was it just her nerves playing tricks on her? She shook slightly and helded his hand. "Alex..."Alexia says. She just stood there on her knees. Not letting go of him. Her eyes stained with tears. She kissed his hand slightly and gripped it tightly. "When you wake up,I'll make it up to you...I promise. I'll make you your favorite dish,then your favorite dessert,I'll bring you flowers and help you with homework so you're not left behind in classes. We'll play basketball and all of those sports,and soon after,we'll return on doing missions,right...?!"Alexia says trying to keep her hopes up from her heart being shattered into pieces. Her hands were completetly black with darkness. It was like if there was this big of madness inside of her trying to show,but could only do that,and couldn't manage to corrupt. Alexia closed her eyes and stood there.

Alex looked around the Black Room and searched for a way out. "Where's the way out?" Alex then began to hear Alexia's voice. "Is that...?" Alex then looked around to see where it was coming from. "Where? I need to know!" Alex gritted his teeth. "I need to leave this place, I need to get out of here." Alex then stopped and listened to what Alexia was saying. "She... she's worried about me that much?" Alex then closed his eyes and thought. "I know I screwed up this time, I let the madness swallow me whole. I know that, but I won't do it again! Just let me do what's right, this madness in my heart and my head are just causing trouble for people." Alex then breathed in and out. "Just let me do it... Give me the courage to fight against this madness." Alex then looked up as a glowing ball of light appeared in the center of the Black Room. "There's more than just madness within me, there's..." Alex then began to walk in to the ball of light, letting it engulf him. "... so much more!"

 

Alex's body was still as Alexia held onto his hand with her eyes closed, Alex's eyes then began to open slowly as he looked up at Alexia with a smile. "... that sounds nice."

Alexia's eyes shot open. She swoly looked up at Alex to see him smiling at her with open eyes. "Alex!"Alexia says. She smiled and more tears came down,this time of extreme happyness. "You're allright you're allright!"Alexia says all happy. She helded onto his hand even tighter. "Thank goodness,you're allright,you're allright!I was so worried..."Alexia says. She shook and looked up smiling. "Please don't scare me like that again,I thought I had lost you forever..."alexia says as she then hugged him tightly while he was stull laying down. "You're gonna be allright,you're gonna be allright!"Alexia says smiling and happy and even laughing a bit. Dr.Frakenstein heard all of the racket and decided to take a peek. "Well Lord Death,it seems he pulled through..."Dr.Frakenstein says with a slight smile.

"Hey! Stop it already, you're going to end up crushing me!" Alex said as his wounds began hurting a little bit as Alexia hugged him. "Come on, you knew I wouldn't leave that easily, right? There was nothing to worry about from the begining." Alex then sighed as Alexia still hugged him and wouldn't let go, he then rested his hand on her head. "Everythings ok, I'm going to be ok." Alex then looked up at the ceiling. "I need to apologize, I acted stupid and got you worried, sorry. I thought that if I could get more power then I could defeat Crona, but I was just fooling myself. I should have teamed up with Spirit and we should have taken Crona down together, if we did then I wouldn't be in this mess." Alex then looked at his body. "Just look at me, I can't even move anything below my waist right now because it hurts so much, talk about weak, huh?"

Alexia letted go and smiled at him. "Don't say that Alex. You're anything but weak."Alexia says smiling. "You managed to pull through and you're gonna get better. There were posibilities that you might of not make it,yet you did."Alexia says. She wiped the tears off her eyes. "If that's not streanght,I don't know what it is Alex."Alexia says. She looked up. "I'm glad you're back home."Alexia says. She then thought and got her hands together. "That's right. I'm gonna do all of that stuff I promised. I'm gonna make your favorite dish and bring it to ya tommorow for breakfest,later on I'll bring some dessert,how does that sound?And after some times,we can do all of the other stuff,we might as well make the to do list."Alexia says as her hands witch were black in darkness slowly turned back to normal as if nothing ever happened.

Alex stared at Alexia for a couple of seconds before nodding. "Yeah, of course, but it seems I'll be staying in this bed for a while, he he." Alex carried on staring at Alexia before smiling. "Thanks for all of this, I really apreciate it." Alex said with a slight chuckle. "I just need to get better and we'll go and do all that stuff." Alex then looked up at the ceiling. "You know, I actually heard you while I was sleeping, you guided me out of the madness." Alex then put his hand on top of Alexia's. "Thanks for saving me." Alex said with a smile, but Alexia couldn't tell that all Alex was doing was smiling, she couldn't see that there were things that he wasn't saying. (It's probably better off if she didn't know about that part.) Alex thought to himself.

Alexia stared and smiled. "Alex..."Alexia says. She grabbed his hand and kissed it slightly and smiled. "I'm going to become stronger for you now. When you come out,there'll be no one who will be able to defeat us."Allexia says with confidence. Then Dr.Frakenstein,Spirit and Lord Death walked in. "I see you're well,Alex,I'm glad."Dr.Frakenstein says. He fixed his glasses. "You will need lots of rest tin order for those wounds to heal."He says. He smiled. "Its good to have you back Alex."Dr.Frakenstein says. Alexia looked at Alex. "Do you want me to get you anything Alex?Something to eat or to drink?or flowers?"Alexia asks as she helded his hand still and smiling.

Alex stared at Alexia with a smile. "Nah, I think I'll be fine for now." Alex carried on smiling and chuckling. (Just a little bit longer now and then I'll be able to get back to buisness.) Stein then fixed his glasses and looked at Alexia. "Alexia, we should give some space for Alex to rest, it looks like Lord Death wants to have a talk with him about his mission too." Alexia was acting happy and listened to Stein, following him out, Alex then stared at Spirit and Lord Death. "Is something Lord Death?" "I guess you could say that, but you already know, don't you?" Alex sighed. "Yeah, Crona's going to chase after The Kishin, right? That's gunna be quite a problem." Alex said with a bit worry in his voice. "Well yes, but that's not what we're really talking about here, now is it?" Alex sighed. "How long have you known?" "Since the moment you woke up." Alex then sighed before grinning insanely. "Oh well, looks like you got me!" Alex then jumped out of the bed and out the window. "Let's go Spirit!" "Right!" Spirit then transformed into a scythe in Lord Death's hands and they began to chase after Alex. "I hated putting up that disguise, it was horrible sucking up to that girl!" Alex then hit the ground running, trying to escape Lord Death. "So, you let the madness take over your body and now your going to try and run away from me? Not a very smart move for a Death Scythe." "Whoever asked you? You think you're so great that you can't even see what you do is wrong Grim Reaper! The Kishin has a good view of things and he's powerfull as well, he's much better to be a ruler than you are!" Alex yelled maddeningly with a some what common sense. "The all mighty 'Lord Death' who kills who he chooses based on, what?! That's right! NOTHING!!! The Grim Reaper is free to do what he wants! You talk of a society made of order, but why bother? Just succumb to your hearts true desire and become pure MADNESS!!! HEH HA HA!!!"

Alexia stood there smiling and holding her hands together. "I need to make him his favorite dish for breakfest tommorow,and bring him chocolate cake."Alexia says thinking to herself. She then looked up at Dr.Frakensetin and smiled. "I'll need to thank Spirit for looking over him in the mission. If he wasn't there,Alex would of been a goner."Alexia says. Dr.Frakenstein stared at her. She looked so happy and releived. He just didn't seemed to want to ruin that. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked away slightly. "Yeah."Dr.Farkenstein says. Alexia smiled. "Maybe I should go home and-"Alexia says. "Actually I want to talk about something. I kind of over heard you in the library. Would you like to accompany me and show me a song?"Dr.Frakenstein asks,tryng to distract her. Alexia stared. "Um,I guess."Alexia says.

Alex carried on running from Lord Death as a dark madness aura began to circle him. "Alright, enough running, I'm going to fight you Reaper!" Alex's arms then became blades as he then clashed against Spirit and Lord Death. "You're not going to win Alex, do you know wh exactly you're dealing with?" Lord Death says, still sounding as if he's trying to get through to Alex. "Of course I do, the Grim Reaper 'Death', our savior! Who doesn't know you? That's why I know I can'r hold back!" Alex's entire arm then became the end of his scythe blade and it began glowing blue-ish. "WITCH HUNTER!!!" Alex then hit Lord Death and Spirit with his own Witch Hunter technique. (This is surprising, being able to pull off a Witch Hunter without a Meister? I didn't even think that such a thing was possible.) Lord Death said surprised, he then looked at Spirit. "Spirit, we're going all out in one attack, do you understand?" "I got it!" Lord Death then became incredibly serious and his voice deepened dramatcially. "Soul Resonance!" Lord Death's and Spirit's soul then became connected and resonated at an astonishing rate, Alex looked at the duo with a slightly worried expression. "This doesn't look good." Alex then smirked. "Well anything you can do, I can do..." Alex's soul wavelength then shot up, spiking past what was thought possible for him. "... BETTER!!! SOUL RESONANCE!!!" Alex's Soul then began to resonate extremely high and was slowly catching up to Lord Death. "I have all the Madness in the world on my side, you can't defeat me!" Lord Death's eyes narrowed as he talked with a deep and sturdy voice. "What are you resonating with? It's impossible for a Weapon to resonate with it's own Soul." Alex then began laughing insanely. "What I'm resonating with? I'm resonating with the Black Blood and..." Alex's smirk then got wider and wider. "... The Soul of The Kishin Asura!"

Alexia looked up as she stopped walking and felt this extremely uncomfortable and tense feeling around the air. Alexia shook and looked up. "S...Something's wrong...very wrong...."Alexia mutters. Dr.Frakenstein stared. "This feeling. Its stronger than before. This madness...its darker..."Alexia says. She looked back at Dr.Frakenstein. "Its in the city too...Mr.Stein..."Alexia says. She looked back at him with somewhat a scared expression on her face. "This is the madness I felt that night at the Annyversary party. Its the same feeling,but its so much stronger."Alexia says. Dr.Frakenstein stared and slowly looked at her hands as they were starting to turn darkness black. He quickly shook his head. "Forget about it. Its probably nothing. But I've got to ask. What is wrong with your hands?"Dr.Drakenstein asks. Alexia looked at them. "I don't know myself..."Alexia muttered.

Lord Death stared at Alex as he announced that he was Resonating with The Kishin Asura. "The Kishin? Where is he?" Lord Death asked in a threatening tone, getting extremely serious with Alex who simply grinned. "Wouldn't you like to know, but I can assure to you that he's not in Death City, let's just say his in a higher place right now." Alex then began to charge his arm blade into another Witch Hunter move as Lord Death came rushing in, Alex then jumped up at Lord Death. "WITCH HUNTER!!!" Alex shouted and echoed through the area as it clashed with Lord Death teamed with Spirit. "Your power is great Alex, but you're forgetting one thing..." Alex's Witch Hunter then shattered and he was stabbed straight through his chest. "... I am the Grim Reaper, you can not kill me." Alex's eyes then rolled into the back of his head and fell unconciouss, sliding off of Spirit's blade. Lord Death began speaking with his high pitched voice again. "Well that takes care of that for now, but what we're going to do afterwards is the problem." Lord Death looked down at Alex with a sigh. "What an unfortunate turn of events."

Alexia got a hand on her chest. Dr.Frakenstein quickly turned to her. "Alexia?"Dr.Frakenstein asks. Alexia stood quiet. She muttered something to herself as the darkness spreaded down. Alexia slowly looked up and stared t Dr.Frakenstein with a stare that was kind of a glare yet with a bit of fear in it. "Dr.Frakenstein. This madness is no ordinary madness...I know you feel it as well."Alexia says. She somewhat glared and stared at him. "What is going on really?What are you hiding?"Alexia asks. Dr.Frakenstein stared and looked away fixing his glasses. "Nothing that you have to worry of,Alexia. Just...be glad that he's still alive."Dr.Frakenstein muttered. Alexia stared.
