In RE: Coded it was said Sora needs to AWAKEN memories.

In BBS it said people needed to be reborn through birth by SLEEP

Next coming game? DREAM DROP DISTANCE!! I'm thinking Riku and Sora must fight and defeat the Xemnas and Xehanort of their memories to unlock the memories hidden within. THEN in KH3, something can be done ABOUT the memories.

Huh. I hadn't put it together quite like that. Good theory.

Well, the Sleep and Awaken things were only in the endings and not things that happened in the games themselves, so I'm thinking that Sora will have to "dream" to "awaken" those "Sleeping" memories.

i like your theory but that still leaves the question where would these memories come from? sora and riku did fight xehanort and xemnas but from what i can understand its safe to assume that they remember those events.the castle oblivion memories seem a bit fuzzy too. i think i'm sort of assuming that sora got those memories back as well.so what would sora be remembering.

It could be referring to memories of Ven, the data that Ansem the Wise put into Sora or something else entirely. This game is said to have a twist that changes how we look at the other games.

I say, Mickey tells Sora about the Data in him. Sora tries to go awaken the true memories hidden within the Data, but there is something much bigger behind that...
