Tsunamo 62 Posted September 14, 2011 Square-Enix announced today at Sonys conference that Final Fantasy X would be remastered in HD and would be releasing on both the PS3 and Playtstation Vita in 2012 in celebration of the games 10th anniversary. (that makes me think they'll do the same for KH's 10th, but that's kind of off topic) Who's hyped? I'm looking forward to playing the game on the big screen! Final Fantasy X definitely was one of my favorite Final Fantasy's, and also my first, so I'll enjoy it more than ever!
hawk222 152 Posted September 14, 2011 I think a lot of people will be upset that it isn't something like Final Fantasy VII-IX or earlier, but overall it should receive praise. It was my second Final Fantasy, and I look forward to seeing the remastered version. Makes me wonder if they'll add any extras...

Peanut 26 Posted September 17, 2011 X is definitely worth remastering; it was a terrific game in nearly every aspect. Some of the voice work was iffy, but who knows, maybe they can fix some of that this time around. I am a little sad that they're not remastering VII, but financially, it's easier to redo X because the graphics are closer to what they need to be. So, I'm looking forward to X even if I can't play it ( don't have the system for it D: ).
The Black Wolf 4 Posted September 17, 2011 Yes I am looking forward to it and I would jump for joy if they included the extra bosses in the PAL version. (I think it was the PAL version that had the dark aeons.) 1 Joker reacted to this

ventus13 1 Posted September 18, 2011 i wonder why they don't remaster their FF PSOne Title first?
Isaix 924 Posted September 18, 2011 i wonder why they don't remaster their FF PSOne Title first? Yeah, that would be awesome(especially FFVII),but I think its because its easier to remake a PS2 game, remaking a ps1 game with HD graphics would probably take alot more time so they decided to remake FFX
hatok 6,413 Posted September 19, 2011 i wonder why they don't remaster their FF PSOne Title first? They would have to make every location from scratch if the redid the PS1 games, because all the backgrounds are 2D. They wouldn't be able to reuse their cutscenes either. All in all, a lot of work. Yeah I think it's the international version. We better get it because it's so stupid they released it in Europe but not NA. I'm pretty sure the PAL release was nearly a year after US release though.
