I've always wondered, does the anti form hold any kind of meaning to the story? will it hold any meaning?

I write about it here because sora is,after all, going to go for the master title, so this has to have some kind of form in the story, I'd be pretty annoyed if it wasn't.

Sora don't fear the darkness,but they used the darkness that is inside of him to put him to sleep.If sora goes to sleep,it's because of Ven.

Yeah, but he can still be consumed by the darkness

In KH2, Sora fuses with Roxas after that fight in TWTNW, and he can get Final Form, but Anti-Form never really dissapear (I checked, I played this game a billion times)

Sora can use Anti-Form because it's the "side effect" of his nobody(Roxas) not being one with him. It's like his Heartless side.

In KH1 that was an Anti-Sora but it didn't mean anything, it was just a trick Riku used and he created a Heartless that mimicked Sora.

This topic doesn't have spoilers in it, so I won't discuss KH3D

And Anti-Form has a downside, you can't heal yourself, since you can't cast magic and does Health Orbs are not absorved (they just stay in the floor if you pass through them o.O)

Also, you can revert Anti-Form, but only when there's no enemies near, you can run or kill them all. It leaves your Drive with no bars at all
