As much as I love Hikari and Passion, they seemed overused. Think it's time for a new song?

I really don't but I really love Simple and Clean/Hikari and Passion/Sanctuary so I really would love them to stay but if a new comes up it better be good.

I'm hopin' DDD gets Santuary, it doesn't get enough love.

Passion/Sanctuary was used only twice, and I almost cried when I listened to it as OP for KHII. It fits epic games. But I expect a new song for a game most wanted, an even better song, wich will really make me cry.

I'd like to have something new. Hikari and Passion are great songs, but I want something new.

 

Although, if they're going to use old songs, I guess Passion will be used.

I am sure it's not the time to make a new song for kh3d since bbs didn't take one and I am sure that Nomura want to have a new song in the main games (I,II,III ...)

I would also like DDD to have Sanctuary. The english version's lyrics I think fit the theme in DDD better. "In you and I there's a new land." They are going to a world created from people's dreams. It would be perfect for that game.

 

For future games, I would like it if Yoko Shimomura composed a song for the openings. Her music in the games is amazing and would hold up well for an opening as well. I would rather have that than some Japanese person who can't pronounce English very well

Exactly what i was thinking

I heard a while back that Utada Hikaru didn't want to do it anymore, right before they started using S&C for everything (though everyone here probably knows that already. Forgive me, I'm new and not use to talking to people that know about the KH series...). Maybe they just don't want to find someone new until they really have to.

 

Either way, I would love a new song. If we can't get one, however, I'd prefer to use Sanctuary again. It doesn't get nearly enough love for how amazing it is.

Well for one Hikari utada is still not performing (as far as I know) and yoko shimuro might make a new song for DDD Or kh3 I hope so at least

It doesn't bother me that they use Simple and Clean and Sanctuary all the time as long as we get a new song for KH3. As cool as it would be for Hikari Utada to make a new song for KH3, if they can't get her, they can use any song as long as it fits and it's new. However, if they don't get her because they are too cheap, that would piss me off. Nomura needs to realize how much KH fans love her music and that we are making HIM rich by buying HIS games; the least he could do is try to get her for KH3.
