I am trying to get a kid in my class punished somehow. He's verbally abusive, and physically abusive and always harrases people. This kid's been mean to a bunch of people since I've known him. I have a strong case. My goal is try to get him suspended or at the least him getting a detention. But here's the problem. This kid's mom is a room mother for the school, which basically means he has full immunity. Other people try to get him to be punished but it hasn't worked. So basically I'm trying to ask for help to get this kid suspended/ him getting a detention/ or at the very least, him getting chastised. I'm just asking advice.

Hmmm maybe just kick the kid butt? If he mean to ppl and if he abusive you should do the same to him show him who boss or just ask one of your friend to get a cam rec him being mean to somebody show it to his mom and that should get him detention good luck

Fighting him, or being abusive otherwise will serve no purpose other then to be punished with the other kid. Ive done it. it sucks.

The best way to deal with him is to shrug him off and not give him the time of day. dont worry about the other people he is antagonizing unless youre close to them, in which case you should tell them to ignore him as well. unless this kid is actually touching you, he isnt a threat. if its purely verbal abuse, then ignoring him will make him lose interst after he doesnt get the rise out of you.

Well if his mom works in the school.... find some time when she's not busy and you're not busy (maybe before school?) and talk to her about it. Yes, it's his mom, and moms protect their kids, but, she's his MOM. Mom's also punish their kids! Just have a handful of examples ready and if you have to bring a couple other students as witnesses to the behavior, then do so. If she still won't do anything you should try and talk to (as scary as the idea might sound) the principal or superintendent or whatever your school has in charge. Getting to the authority figures first makes a big deal of difference.

 

From the eyes of an adult, usually, kids tends to sort their own problems out. If it's bad enough for them to tug on someone's sleeve for help, clearly, they need to listen.

That really sucks.

I know this by experience, not by the teacher's, but in the view of a student.

I was mocked A LOT in school a few years ago.

And the guy that always mocked me was immune cause he had his mom as a teacher and his aunt as an employee.
