So I was rewatching the dragon ball z series and I just got to the point where Goku kills Buu. Anyway when Goku and Vegeta are getting people to give up their energy there is a clip of two guys walking through the woods and 17 shows up with a shotgun and gets em to put their hands up. First off I never even realized that he came back, I mean now that I think about it they wished for everyone on Earth who was killed by cell to come back to life and he was killed by cell soooo there's that. Anyway why didn't he get any real screen time? And was that supposed to be him in GT? Like was he one of the 17's that fused to make super 17??

in GT it was dr gero and the guy that made baby in hell they made 2 17's and fused them

they didnt make 2 17's in GT, hell fighter 17 was meant to fuse with the original, thats why goku and 18 were able to defeat super 17. the original 17 influenced sper 17 to show his weakness.

I think he wanted to live a peaceful life away from civilisation or something...

Might be what Big Daddy D said, but he wasn't doing anything during all that time. Probably just did not want to be seen or Toriyama forgot about him. And the canonocity of GT = 0.
