Story

25 years ago, the Civil War between the Keyblade wielders and the government, known as the WPA, began. 10 years ago, the corruption of the Keyblade wielders was reveiled, and a resistance was born from a defeated WPA and two Keyblade wielding rebels. 5 years ago, the corrupted leaders, Stahl and Sora, were defeated, causing the collapse of the KWU.

5 years later, the reformed WPA is back in power, surviving Keyblade wielders are working with them to repair what they've done, and the resistance members are trying to put everything that has happened over the last 10 years behind them.

But they will soon learn: ideas never die that easily.

Rules

1. This will rely on the events of the first two Civil War RPs. Please don't refrain from signing up because of that, and feel free to ask questions if you're confused.
2. Please try and stick it out until the end. We're tired of ending with only 4 people still posting.
3. Have at least 4-5 WELL WRITTEN sentences per post.
4. Spelling and grammar. Use them.
5. Language is permitted, but at least try and keep it minimal.
6. No taking control of other people's characters without permission.
7. No killing off other people's characters without permission.
8. Keep posts PG, guys.
9. Post the name of the worst movie you've ever seen so I know you read the rules.
10. If you want to kill off your character, make it as epic as humanly possible.
11. No godmodding. Your character isn't invinsible, and they will get hurt.
12. Make sure your posts make sense (exposition isn't all that bad, guys).

"Pretty good I guess. I've had some time to reflect and rest from all the massacere from the last battle. But as more terrorits have been starting to surge. The more I wonder if the war has actually been won,considering it seems it just keeps going on by small pieces."Marina says as she rubs the back of her head. She smiled at Alex slightly. "But besides that. Everything's been good and normal."Marina says smiling as she saw the soldiers take care of the last of teh baodies.

(Roxas, please reread the rules, and try to be a bit more descriptive.)

 

Alex nodded. "10 years this crap has been going on. It just never ends." Alex then saw that the other soldiers were just about finished with their cleanup. "Alright, time to begin getting the plot into motion. Mind if we go inside the castle, or somewhere a bit more secure? I think that something big is about to happen, and I need to talk to you about it."

Marina noded. "Sure."Marina says. The two of them then walked up the stairs and to the castle. Marina opened the door and they entered. She then closed it shut. She looked around and saw that there was no one there. "The guards must of taken the emperor to safety when they heard the alarm and teh rocus of outside."Marina says. She then looked over to Alex. "Ok Alex,what do you wanted to talk about?"Marina asks as she rested against one of the pillars.

Alex cracked his neck. Alrighty, let's get ready for some exposition...

 

"All of us have been working against the KWU, working with the WPA over the last 5 years. You know that I had made my own team of former KWU, to repair the name of Keyblade wielders. Well, one of them slaughtered everyone on my team except for me. He said he wanted the KWU back in power, and there were others with him. But apparantly, they don't consider themselves KWU terroroists. Called them dogs without an owner or something like that. I don't know who exactly they are, but they made one thing clear: they want the people behind Sora and Stahl's fall dead. And they're good fighters. He was able to defeat me in our short fight."

 

Alex ran his hand through his hair. "The abridged version... they want us dead, and we can't do this alone." Alex looked at Marina. "I need Quentin, I need Jacobs, and I need you. We can't do this alone."

Marina stared. She then looked up. "I see."Marina says. She then looked back down. "Well then."Marina says. She smiled. "Count me in."Marina says. She thinks for a while. "Quentin should be home with his 5 year old daughter,and Jacobs...I really don't know where he is but if I were to guess he's probably around Traverse Town taking care of any problems."Marina says as she looked around at the empty room. "It seems now we can do a comback,right?"Marina says as she made a fist for him to fist bump.

Alex smirked and returned the fist bump. Half of him was amazed that she would so willingly rejoin a fight after 5 years, 2 years of which neither have seen each other. The other half wanted to hit himself over the head for thinking she would turn down a chance for some excitement. "In it 'till the end. Some things never change." Alex rubbed his hands together. "Right then, whenever you're ready to get this started, we can head off."

Marina noded and stretched a bit. "Let's head off now. This world is to boring for me."Marina says. She then walked outside of the castle. She tapped her armour pad and she got covered in her silver and black armour. She threw her keyblade and it transformed into her silver,black and blue runner. It was in the plataform of a skateboard. Marina got on and looked back at Alex. "Should we go get Jacobs first or Quentin?"Marina asks.

(jacobs is the administrator of twilight town)

Quentin slowly woke up, he looked around the dark room and noticed light slowly enter through the curtains, around the room he took his free time to decorate it, a picture of his old squad from when he was a teenager was hung on the wall, he saw himself, Cairo, KAzzac, and Arthur...two of which were dead. he sighed.

"Arthur.. he died for the mission... to save us..." he said, then whenever he looked at Kazaac... his best friend... he remembered how unwilling Alex was to act... he forgave Alex, but he can't help but think that way. another photo was of his group being lead by Jason Narville. on the other side of the wall there was a large buster sword he aquired which had materia slots in it, he didn't put the materia in because if Alessa was wandering about the house... well just having a sword you can't reach is dangerous enough. he had a desk with a computer, and a couple mementos from his wedding.... he kept her ring there. he sighed.

"Time to get up, we have a big day ahead of us." he said slightly smiling.

Alex thought for a moment. He doubted that either would be as easy to convince as Marina was. Jacobs would probably want more proof, and that proof would come in the form of those Keyblade wielders killing the group. He'd be easier to convince if more people were telling him there's a threat, so Quentin would be a better choice first. On the other hand, he has a kid now, and Leslie's still in a coma. Quentin might not be as willing to leave his new life behind to get back into the war. "I think we should probably try Quentin first. He'll probably be slightly easier to get on board."

Marina nods. "Yeah. Allright. He should be around Twilight Town. Let's get going."Marina says. She saw Alex summoned his armour and runner. Marina smiled under her armour. "Just like old times."She says to herself. She then made a portal. She looked down at the others who were staring at them. They waved goodbye and kept working. Marina waved and looked back at Alex. "Let's go. To Twilight Town~"Marina says as she reved up her runner and went right into the portal,towards the Lanes-In-Between,towards Twilight Town.

(before the storm from heavy rain plays)

Quentin walked into his bathroom.
'ok good, I got some extra plastic bags.' he thought to himself.
-ten minutes later-
Quentin walked out of the bathroom, he removed the bag from his right arm, then returned to his room and got dressed, he wore jeans, a white tshirt, and a green vest.
"Alright, time to wake the daughter." he said to himself, he walked to Alessa's room and could hear snorring.
'yup, that's her.' he thought in his mind. he slowly opened the door, and looked to the little girl snoring in bed.
"Time to get up, we have a big day today." he said, she rolled in bed.
"A...alright dad..." she said, he smirked.
"No more daddy?" he asked, she rubbed her eyes and got out of bed. he nodded.
"alright, you get dressed and I'll get breakfast done." he said, she nodded.
"okay." she said. he walked out of the room to leave her alone, and then into the kitchen, he opened the fridge and grabbed some eggs chease and salt.
"She'll like this." he said to himself as he started to make scrambled eggs, he finished then spooned some onto two plates, one being a slightly larger helping then the other, he placed the plate down and saw a familiar little girl with blonde hair walk into the room. she yawned, then walked up to her seet, then got up. she imemdiately started to chow down. he smiled. she then coughed a little.
"Agh, hot hot!" she yelled, he chuckled.
"Blow on it before eating." he said, she slowly nodded, he grabbed a glass and filled it with cold water, he placed it by her. she nodded.
"thanks." then started to eat again. he smiled. (I'm trying to emulate a heavy rain like scene when ethan's taking care of shaun.)
"So we gonna see mom?" she asked quickly munching down, he nodded.
"Yeah, this is what I do on saturdays, visit your mother." he said, she nodded.
"Okay, I finally get to see her." she said, Quentin slowly looked down.
'that's right... I've never taken her a long.' he thought to himself. she finished up, then looked at him.
"So is ms. Barret coming a long?"she asked, he looked at her. she smiled like she knew a dark secret.
"What, I heard you on the phone." she said, he chuckled.
"You are such a little twerp." he said, she giggled. he then got up and took her plate.
"C'mon, get in the car, I'll take care of these dishes." he said, she nodded.
"okay." Alessa answered back.

Irvine had the power to go to any world he wants. But he needs to be careful not to be seen.

(I'm confused if twilight town is having rain or not...so if there's rain then yeah...if not oh well)

Irvine walked through the dark portal and entered the rainy Twilight Town.

Mostly everyone where in-doors. So he was safe...for now...

"So I'm solo now. I don't need them....I'll fight who I want to."

Irvine pulled down his jacket's hoodie over his head so he won't get his face wet.

He looked down not to draw attention....but in reality...he never was getting attention

"I'm gonna go explore...Let some steam out.." He said quietly

He walked around the neighborhood and shopping district...looking at the rain and houses of every kind...It kind of reminds him of his old home.

Alex and Marina landed in the rainy Twilight Town. Both of them dismissed their armor, and Alex threw his hood over his head. It's been two years since I've been here. Nice to be back, even for a brief time. He looked around and saw cars passing through the streets, and taller buildings. A lot has changed in the last couple years. Alex turned and saw they had landed beside the town cemetary. He paused for a moment, then shook it off and looked at Marina. "I sincerely hope you know where Quentin lives, because I certainly don't."

Marina rubbed the back of her head. "I can guess..."Marina says. She then took out what looked like a black orb. "I've also had help or two."Marina says. She threw the blob down and it rolled on the floor. It then shook and popped up. It was a puppy...a Heartless puppy. It was all black with round yellow eyes. It had its ears down and it's tail raised up and wagging it. It was like a Beagle puppy,but in Heartless form. Marina crouched down and petted it. "I found it while I was fighting off some Heartless about a year ago. It's harmless. So idecided to keep it. His name is Shadow."Marina says smiling. She stared down at it. "Find Quentin."Marina says. The puppy then started to sniff around. In the puppys eyes he could see a green scent. The puppy then ran off cutely and Marina followed.

The little girl scampered off, then stopped after opening the door.

"It's raining." she said, he sighed.

"Your jacket's in the closet, I'll finish with this." he said, he heard Alessa open the nearby door and pull out a small red parka. Quentin putted the dishes away then grabbed his jacket, a simple green one, with a custom waterproof glove on the right arm. he putted it on and opened the door.

"C'mon hun." he said, she nodded then hurried to the car. it was a silver sedan. he opened the door int he back, and let her climb in, he made sure to adjust her seatbelt, then closed the door, he got in on the front seat then closed the door.

"Geez, it's cold out there..." the little girl chided, he sighed.

"I'll turn the heat up." he said, he started the engine and rolled out onto the road.

Marina saw the puppy sniffed around and eventually got to a house. Marina knocked on the door. No answer. "hello?"Marina asks. Marina stared through the windows. "Nobody seems to be home."Marina says. She then sees teh puppy keeping sniffing and then started to wlak the other way. Marina stared and followed. "They must of walked away or gone somewhere."Marina says as they started to follow the puppy.

Quientin turned the heat up and drove towards the hospital. Alessa yawned slightly apparently not getting enough sleep, he looked to her.

"Did you stay up?" he asked, she quickly shook her head. he smirked.

"Right, just remember your going to be starting pre-school soon and might want to go to bed at the right time." he said, she pouted then nodded.

"kay." the rain was going even harder on the windshield as the wipers went up and over repeatively.

'Damn rain.' he thought to himself. usually Twilight town wasn't rainy like this. they finally reached the hospital and parked. he helped her out of her seat and then held her hand as they walked into the building, a woman was there to meet them, she was Quentin's age, with shoulder length brown hair, and hazel eyes.

"Emily, morning." he said, HEr eyes lit up as she saw him and Alessa.

"Quentin, and little A." she said kneeling down to the girl. Alessa smiled.

"Hello ms. Barret." she said smiling, Emily nodded.

"How are you alessa?" she asked, the girl beamed.

"Good, a bit tired though." she said, Quentins mirked.

"Only because someone stayed up in bed." he said, Alessa scowled slightly. Emily patted ehr on the head.

"It's alright, can't spend all our time sleeping." she said, smirking at Quentin. she then got up and they started walking through the hallway.

"So she's been taken care of here?" she asked walking with them, Alessa scurried around them.

"Yes... it's been five years now." he said, Alessa sighed.

Alex had his eyebrows raised at the dog the entire time. If there was anything he had learned, it was that Heartless are ALWAYS bad news. "...I trust you Marina, but if that dog goes on a slaughter spree looking for hearts, I'm putting it down." The two continued following it through the rain, until they eventually reached a hospital. "Don't remember this being here either. I really need to come back here more often." Marina and Alex then entered the hospital.

They walked until they reached the room, the doctor in charge of Leslie's case greeted them. "mr. Victor, good for you to come... as always." he said, he then looked at Emily and Alessa. "Who are these, guests?" he asked, Quentin smiled. "This is my daughter Alessa, and my er... close friend, Emily." he said. Emily slightly sighed. the doctor nodded. "alright, well Leslie is being fed right now, best not to disturbe this... process." he said, sighing, Quentin nodded. "alright, we'll head back to the waiting room." he said, the man nodded. "Very well, I'll send for you when it's time." he said, Quentin and the others slowly headed back to the waiting room, to see... Alex and Marina?

As Alex and Marina entered the hospital, Alex threw his hood off of his head. "I really need to get an umbrella one of these days..." Alec thought for a moment. If Quentin was in the hospital, there could only be one person he was here to see. Alex trolled up to the front counter. "I'm looking for a woman. Name's Leslie." The receptionist began looking through a computer. She smiled. "Ah yes, Leslie. She's being... fed, right now."

"How do you feed someone who's unconscious?"

"Don't ask." The receptionist began typing some things down. "She won't be avaliable for a few minutes, but you're free to go to the waiting room."

Alex smiled. "Thanks." He and Marina turned to walk towards the waiting room. As the two walked down another hallway, Alex immediately saw who he was looking for, with his daughter and a woman he'd never seen before. I smell a subplot brewing... "Quentin."

Quentin stared at Alex, then Marina. Emily looked at them both.

"Old friends?" she asked. Quentin sighed.

"Yup." he said, Alessa staired up at the strangers, and hid by her father's leg. he sighed.

"well, it's been a while." he said, Alex and Marina slightly smirked.

-2 minutes later-

Quentin sat down with the others looking at them.

"Alright, what did you come here for?" he asked sighing. Alessa sat on his lap with Emily sitting by. Alessa staired at both of them.

"Because I doubt it was a "you were in the area." type of deal." he said sarcasticly.

Alex had been somewhat thrown off. He figured Quentin would be visiting by himself, but the fact that he was with his 5 year old daughter, and.... the random girl with him, would make things far harder to explain. "We're never 'in the area' these days. Trust me, I wish I was. Anyway, we're here because..." Because a group of Keyblade weilders that are stronger than the normal KWU want all the major fighters of the civil war dead and for the KWU to rise to power, and the only way for us to have a hope of surviving is if we all band together again. Why oh why did you have to bring your 5 year-old with you? "...something big is happening, and we need you with us."

The young teenager was walking around...Thinking of what to do. He didn't know where to go next

He was a lone wolf now. No where else to turn, No where else to go.

"...Hey....A Hospital...I don't know where the town all is...So maybe I can ask for the nearest hotel or motel...

Irvine walked in and saw a few strange faces sitting and waiting.

"...ugh...I need to be more social..."

He pulled down his hoodie and dusts his jacket and jeans off

"Agh...I'm all soaking wet..." that's what she said

Irvine made his way up to the front desk.

"Excuse me....But where's the nearest hotel...or motel..or something..." He asked nervously.

"Hmm..Oh I know the address! Just hang on I gotta take this folder in. Can you sit and wait?" The desk lady asked happily

"Okay..."

Irvine sat 5 chairs away from the group having a conversation with each other, He looked down with his hair wet covering his eyes.

No sudden movements.....I'll be fine alone...I don't need KWU...

Quentin stared at him, then sighed. Alessa looked at them both intrigued. MArina smiled towards her, while Alex scowled. Quentin sighed.

'I have a feeling something big is going on... KWU big.' he thought in his mind. he then looked to Emily.

"Take Alessa for a moment, I need to have a private conversation with them." he said. Emily slowly nodded.

"Alright, I think she needs to go anyways." she said slowly picking the little girl up. Alessa sighed.

"Bye dad." she said excited. he nodded. then immediately looked to MArina and Alex.

"Alright, if your here it must be important, what is going on?" he asked. They both sighed.

"May I presume it's... KWU related?" he asked.

Alex sighed for a brief moment. "Yeah, you could say that. I've come across something big. There are Keyblade weilders. Strong ones. They want the KWU to be back in power. Thing is though... they don't consider themselves part of the terrorists running around still. They think they're higher, 'better', than that. The first thing they want is the people who were responsible for Sora and Stahl's downfall, dead. And believe me, they have the strength to do that. None of us will survive if we continue seperate from each other."

 

Alex looked Quentin in the eye. "I know this is asking a lot from you... but we need everyone back together to stop them. That means, we need you."
