Story

25 years ago, the Civil War between the Keyblade wielders and the government, known as the WPA, began. 10 years ago, the corruption of the Keyblade wielders was reveiled, and a resistance was born from a defeated WPA and two Keyblade wielding rebels. 5 years ago, the corrupted leaders, Stahl and Sora, were defeated, causing the collapse of the KWU.

5 years later, the reformed WPA is back in power, surviving Keyblade wielders are working with them to repair what they've done, and the resistance members are trying to put everything that has happened over the last 10 years behind them.

But they will soon learn: ideas never die that easily.

Rules

1. This will rely on the events of the first two Civil War RPs. Please don't refrain from signing up because of that, and feel free to ask questions if you're confused.
2. Please try and stick it out until the end. We're tired of ending with only 4 people still posting.
3. Have at least 4-5 WELL WRITTEN sentences per post.
4. Spelling and grammar. Use them.
5. Language is permitted, but at least try and keep it minimal.
6. No taking control of other people's characters without permission.
7. No killing off other people's characters without permission.
8. Keep posts PG, guys.
9. Post the name of the worst movie you've ever seen so I know you read the rules.
10. If you want to kill off your character, make it as epic as humanly possible.
11. No godmodding. Your character isn't invinsible, and they will get hurt.
12. Make sure your posts make sense (exposition isn't all that bad, guys).

The puppy sniffed Quentin around his feet. Marina stared at the puppy. She then looked back up. "Like Alex said. We need your help for this. 'Seperate we fall and together we stand'."Marina says. She then looks at the puppy witch was chasing its tail. "Shadow please stay still will ya?"Marina asks. The puppy then stopped and satted down with its tounge sticking out and wagging its tail. "Good."Marina says slightly.

Quentin stared at him, then sighed.

"I'm just a soldier who got lucky... hell I'm lucky to be sitting here..." he said, he looked at his hand. it gleamed in the light, he then looked at Alex.

"I've been retired for 5 years, finally went to college, got into engineering... good job." he said.

 

he said, Alex stared at him, expecting him to give in.

"But... your right... it is too much." he said, Alex staired at him, Quentin looked at him.

"If you need a soldier, I'd recommend Cairo, he's still involved." he said, Alex asked him why not him. Quentin looked at him.

"Because of my daughter. Alessa... my parents died in one of the KWU attacks, and I grew up an orphan, I don't want to do that to her, put her through that... she already lost her mother..." he said sighing.

"...key...blade....?" He whispered quietly...

Do they know that the boy sitting near them recently left?

"Should..I tell them..."

"Excuse me sir! Here's the address!" The desk lady shouted.

"..."

The young teenager got up...but he didn't realize he dropped something that resembles KWU...his ID...

It seems Irvine did not burn it. Only his patch.

"Thank you..." He said quietly.

He began to walk out and noticed one of the men were looking at them.

.....he felt an unusual energy emiting from him...maybe his heart? Even he didn't know

"...Excuse me.." He passed threw and began to walk out...His chain acessory has been rattling when he walked out

Alex lowered his head a little bit. He completely understood what Quentin was saying, especially about growing up as an orphan. But that didn't change the fact that the group needed to be together, especially now. "Quentin... they want everyone in the WPA dead. Above all though, US. You, me, Marina, Jacobs, Leslie, the heavy hitters in the resistance. Lucky or not, you were one of them. Whether you rejoin us now or not, they'll come for you, and soon. The difference is... you'll have others with you to help protect what you care about." Alex shook his head. "Sorry, it's not fair for me to push you like this. It's your choice." He and Marina both got up. "But... if you do ever change your mind... my comm-link frequency is the same as it was before." Alex turned around. "Sorry for wasting your time."

Quentin sighed.

"No, it's alright..." he siad sighing. he then looked at Alex.

"But, if I were you, I'd track down some of the guys who also were in the resistance, say the men from the HB group, or Cairo and Narville." he said, Alex stared at him.

"Narville was a master planner, he organized our final attack on the mansion, and Cairo, he knows all my tricks and we went through the same training program, he's kinda like me but he stayed in service while I retired and probably got a bit rusty, an excellant alternative" he said, he pulled out a small notebook then wrote down adresses and contact numbers for some of the people they worked with.

"I kept in contact with them, here." he said, he handed Alex the piece of paper he tore out of the notepad.

"Can't leave you empty handed." he said. Alex slowly nodded.

-meanwhile-

Alessa walked out of the bathroom to see Ms. Barret there, she smiled.

"So, who were they?" she asked. Emily sighed.

"Your father's old er... companions." she said, Alessa nodded.

"Ok." she said, Emily sighed,

'Hate being left in the dark.' she thought to herself sighing. it's not that she hated taking care of Alessa, it's just everytime Quentin had an old war buddy around, he didn't want Alessa around, and that would mean she would have to improvise to get Alessa away...

"Wait a minute...Where's my ID!?" Irvine stopped and shook in fear

"where..is it...! AGH! I left it back at that waiting room!"

He ran back inside the hospital drawing attention from other people

"Excuse me have you seen an ID?" Irvine was shaking in fear.

"Hmm..No...Check where you sat." The desk lady replied in a happy tune~

"..yeah thanks..." Irvine got down on his knees and looked around the area he sat

"You're in a happy mood for working in a hospital... http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png " He said quietly

 

"Excuse me young man, But is this yours?" And old woman came and showed him his KWU ID

"AH! Yes! Thank you!" Irvine swiped the ID from her hoping no one else saw it

"It's a nice name you have...K.W.U....What does it mean?" She asked

"......Kevin...um.....William.....Umbridge...." He just thought of these names just now....USRS IRVINE? Come on make up better names!

"Well that is a nice name. Hmm...K.W.U......Heheh..." She said in a gleeful tune.

"...."

He walked out hoping no one ever heard of her...

"Remind me to kill you....I swear if anyone finds out I'm with them..i mean....USED to be with them.." Irvine muttered angrily and walked out again

"Now to burn you.." He pulled out his ID and glared at it

Alex slowly nodded. "Thanks for giving us some time, at least." As he turned around, he said one last thing. "Do me at least one favour though: be ready. They'll come for you at some point." Alex and Marina then walked away.

 

As Alex was walking through the hospital to the exit, he heard the receptionist talking to some kid. He was ready to ignore it, when he heard one line: "That's a nice name you have. K.W.U." Alex immediately turned to see who the receptionist was talking to. The guy quickly talked to her and hurried out of the hospital. Alex turned to Marina. "See if you can't have some better luck with Jacobs. I'll deal with this." Alex then walked out of the hospital.

 

Alex opened the doors to see the boy with the ID in his hand. "You know, you shouldn't mention the KWU. Might get you into some trouble these days, kid." The boy turned to face Alex, who was ready to draw his Keyblade at the slightest hint of hostility.

Marina nods and looks at the puppy. "Come one Shadow. Let's go find Jacobs."Marina says. The puppy then started to sniff around and started to walk away with its nose stuck onto the floor. Marina followed. She saw as the puppy hurried over out of the hospital to this huge building. It was one of teh newest additions to Twilight Town. Marina saw the puppy bark at the door. Marina noded. She opened the door and could see some people walking around and talking. Working and doing paperwork and etc. She walked up too the girl in the counter. "May I help you?"She asks. "Er,looking for Adrian Jacobs."Marina says. "He's at his office right now. Do you have an appoitment with him?Hey,where you going?"The girl asks as she saw MArina walking way towards the office not even waiting for her to finish talking.

 

"Er,yeah,appoitment. Something like that. Top floor right?"Marina asks as she got inteh elevator with Shadow. "Um,yes,should I tell him you're coming?"The girl asks. "Nah,leave it as a surprise."Marina says as the elevator closed and staret dto go up. As elevator music started to play the woman and man next to Marina couldn't stop staring at Shadow. Marina looked at them. "What?Never seen a HEartless puppy before?"Marina asks. The elevador door opened at the top floor soon enough. She walked out. "Let's see. His office should be down...there."Marina says smirking.

He turned around and saw the man threatening him.

"..."

He burned it his ID with Fira

"I left those bastards, I didn't want to be with darkness. I don't want to take over any world..."

Irvine stared at him....he didn't want to fight...But he sensed a light in Alex's heart. Like.....bright as a lamp...

"I don't fight for no reason. I'm not part with those K.W.U trolls (lolwut) anymore. But I don't want to fight....I'm just a lone wolf now.."

He summoned his keyblade and showed Alex he was also a keyblade wielder

"You see? I also own a keyblade like you. Now I'm guessing you think I want to fight...As I said, I don't"

 

He put his keyblade down next to him while it makes the chain makes a rattling noise.

(leslies pov)

 

'everything around me was disappearing. "quentin! alessa!" i was running after them as it looked like if they were disappearing into nothing...'

 

i coughed and i looked around. "what the...?" i was inside a hospital? 'WTF' then a nurse came in. "oh my! your feeding! i better remove it..." she said. 'i was eating?' she took out a tube that was attached to my stomach, it hurt like hell. "agh...why am i here? where's quentin and alessa?" i said.

(How did Irvine know that Alex is a Keyblade weilder?)

 

Alex raised his eyebrows. He could tell that this kid was telling the truth, and that he had nothing to do with the remnants of the KWU, at least not anymore. It was easy to tell. But Alex had a thought. A former KWU walking the streets on his own. He might be usefull. Alex crossed his arms. "So you don't. But believe me, kid, even if you don't want to fight..." Alex opened his hand, and his Keyblade appeared in it. "...if you have one of these things on you, you don't get much of a choice. Especially the way things are now."

(after leaving, he went AWOL so he's currently being searched by other members. So he had a hunch that Alex was one of them.0

"...." He lowered his head.

The confused teenager needed to think for a while

I don't want to fight without an excuse....What if I draw attention...

Rain was falling down on his head...his hair got soaking wet..and so were his clothes. He looked back up at Alex

"I don't fight for them anymore. If you want me to fight you, Too bad. I don't fight without a very good reason...."

A neoshadow emerged from the alley and jumped up to attack Irvine.

".." He quckly got sight of it and slashed it in a 90 degree turn.

"Like that. I only fight for reasons like that...When I get attacked. I don't attack others...It's not in my nature..."

He lowered his head again remembering his time with the K.W.U.

 

Just go the hell away....He thought to himself

Marina walked down the hallway with the puppy. It was so quiet in that top floor. She then stopped infront of the door. It said 'Adrian Jacobs. Administrator.' In bold letters on the crystal of the door. "Nice..."Marina says. She then got her ear near the door to see if she could hear anything. So far. Just some scribbles on a paper. She sighed and looked back upfront. "That must be Jacobs allright."Marina says. She smiled. "Only one way to find out."Marina says. She then took a deep breath.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Jacobs was writting some stuff down on some papers. Then he heard a very familiar 'chime'.

 

"Oh Jacobs!~"

 

Jacobs stopped and looked up. "That chime..."Jacobs says already expecting who it was. Then Marina opened the door. Smiling all happy with a Heartless puppy in her arms. "Did ya miss me?"Azura asks. Jacobs anime sweatdropped. "(Yup. It's her allright.)"Jacobs thinks. He then stared at the puppy...he and the puppy blinked at the same time. Azura smiles and closes the door. "Don't worry,I won't bother you that much,I actually came here on an,important matter."MArina says taking a seat and sitting down.

Emily and Alessa returned,

"So, what happened?" she asked, Quentin sighed, Allessa wandered off.

"It was an old friend, said the KWU were getting bigger... wanted me to rejoin." he said sighing. Emily nodded.

"I see... and your answer?" she asked, he looked to her.

"I couldn't, I would never do that to Alessa..." he said, Emily smiled.

"Your a good dad." she said, he nodded.

"Yeah... I guess... never really had a father to look up to..." he said sighing, Emily was slowly getting closer.

"Yeah, I suppose..." she said. she was just about to kiss him when a nurse intervened.

"Sir, there's something you need to see." she said, Quentin nodded.

"Alright, you get Alessa." he said directing Emily, she sighed then nodded. Quentin followed the nurse then walked into the room... it was the same as it's always been... white, clean, and with a familiar girl in the middle... except... she was awake.

-meanwhile-

Jacobs slightly smiled.

"No, it's no problem, I like having company..." he said, he sat back then looked at the dog, then at Marina. he slowly got up and came back a moment later with coffee.

"Here." he said greeting his guest, she nodded and took the mug. He sat back down at his desk.

"Alright, now what is the matter?" he asked.

Marina stared. "I came here to tell you something important. I met up with Alex and he has come across something big. There are Keyblade weilders that want the KWU to be back in power. But they're a seperate group,they don't consider themselves part of the terrorist KWU. They consider themselves much better than that,and appearently,the first thing on their agenda to bring the KWU back into power. Is to get rid of all of those who had a main part and were responsible for Sora's and Sthal's death. That means,you, me, Quentin, Alex and,Leslie. Everyone who took a part in their deaths,and so in that matter...even though it is a big task to ask. We need you to come back and re-join with us as a team,to take down these guys. If we get hit seperate. We'll fall easily. But if we're together. We might as well get a chance at them."Marina says as she took a nice sip of the cofee.

-meanwhile-

 

the general heard balthazar came into the office. "sir, its seems that irvine has gone M.I.A." balthazar lisped and spat. the general sighed. "all that potential gone to waste...i may have yet for find an apprentice..." the general said. "anyways...give me a full report of them." the general said promptly.

 

-somewhere else-

 

it was cold and raining, we put the obelisk on top of a hill. "NOW CLEAN THAT S*** WITH THIS!" our drill sergeant said, he gave us all a colgate wisp to wash a 50 foot tall obelisk. we then started right away.

Leslie... she was awake.. HE stepped towards her, her brown eyes immediately looked towards him. "You've been gone for a while..." he said, she smiled. he got closer. -meanwhile- Jacobs looked at her. "The kWU?" he asked, almost not-believing, MArina nodded. he sighed, then looked at her. "Normally... I would just dismiss this..." he said, she looked down. "But... it makes sense now." he said, she stared at him not expecting that. "for the past couple years, one fourth of our transport ships would go into deep space, send a distress signal... and dissipear... it must of been the KWU, gathering materials." he said. he stood up. "It'll take me a while to appoint someone to take over in my stead, atleast a couple days, but count me in." he said.

(leslies pov)

 

'i was...? well all that matters is that I'm with the love of my life...' i then just held him and gave him a passionate kiss.

 

-somwehere else-

 

we scraped the obelisk with the colgate wisps but doing so barely does anything. "SCRAPE HARDER!!!" he yelled so loud that my ears started to bleed, then someones colgate wisp broke, he turned to that person. "YOU DROP DOWN AND GIVE ME 5,000!" he yelled even louder that the sound echoed for miles. the rain started to get more intense and colder.

Marina smiled and noded. "Allright. Welcome to the battle."Marina says. She then noticed teh puppy had taken some of teh cofee while Marina was distracted. The puppy's eyes then suddenly slowly grew bigger. "Um,Shadow?"Marina asks. Then teh puppy jumped down and started to run around like crazy. All hyped up of the cafine. Marina looked around. "Um."Jacobs says. "Let it. He'll calm down."Marina says smiling. Jacobs slightly smiled. The puppy eventually stopped when he went against the wall and fell down kncoked out. Marina shook her head.

Alex raised his Keyblade on to his shoulder. "Kid, let me give you some advice." Alex looked to the ground.

 

"I've lost a lot in my life. Time, and time again, I've thought about leaving all of this fighting behind me, and just living a normal life. But I never did. I knew that no one would stand up to replace me, to fight for what's right. Even if you don't think there's a reason to fight, there always is something there to push you, even if you don't realize it."

 

Alex turned around. "Wandering around alone and without a cause will only get you killed. Find something worth fighting for, and fight for it." Alex then started to walk away.

Jacobs sighed. "intresting... dog." he said, Marina chuckled, then picked him up. Jacobs then looked to her. "Alright, just give me a couple days, and I'll join up." he said, Marina nodded. he then sighed. "Anything else you need?" he asked. -meanwhile- Quentin froze there, Leslie was back to her old self... but something was at the back of his mind. 'what about Emily?, she helped you take care of your daughter while this chick slept.' it said in his mind, he immediately stepped back, catching Leslie off guard. the door opened, Emily along with some nurses came in, she saw what happened, then sighed. She was holding Alessa's hand. Quentin looked at her, then sighed, looking down.

"Nah that was kind of it. Nothing else crosses my mind for the moment."Marina says. She stood up and helded the puppy. "Well,we'll be seeying ya later then. Thanks for the time and the cofee."Marina says. Jacobs noded. Marina then walked out and closed the door. She rubbed the puppy's head. "You shouldn't drink cofee. You know how cafine gets you all hyped up."Marina says as she walked away. The puppy barked. She went down the elevator and walked out of teh building. She walked around and setted the puppy down for it to run around and waste energy.

"...Wait." He said instantly.

He dismissed his keyblade and walked up to Alex

"I want to help you. I had enough of being pushed around. And it's time that...I pushed back!"

Irvine lifted up his hood from the rain and revealed his hair.

 

"I want to join your group. I don't want to be with the K.W.U. And...I have no where else to go...."

Irvine lowered his head and bowed...like how the japanese bow to show respect.

"I will tell you anything new. I know up most of their weaknesses....Even where their secret bases are located. ON EVERY WORLD. So please Sir. I would like to join you."

 

"Your words have sank into me. I do want to fight for a reason."

He kept bowing and waited for his response...but he still had his back turned on Irvine. What will he choose?

Alex hadn't turned around yet, but he had his eyes closed, and he was smirking. "First, please don't call me 'sir'. I'm 24. Second, please don't bow. I'm 24. And third..." Alex turned around and took his hood off as well. "It's always nice to have an edge over the minor antagonists of the RP, but you should know, this is far bigger than you think. Something big is happening, and if you join us, I absolutely can not guaruntee that you'll make it out alive. I'm gonna be honest with you."

Shadow ran around and eventually found Alex. Shaow jumped and started to run round Alex in a circle. Shadow jumped up and down all hyped up. "He drank cofee,so he's pretty hyper right now."Marina says as she walked ove rto Alex. "Also,Jacobs is going to join us. It's gonna take a few days for him to find someone to take over his seat while he's gone. But he has assured that he will help us with this."Marina says. She then noticed the boy. "Who's this?Friend of yours?"Marina asks.
