So I got a job at GameStop as an LGA. LGA means Lead Game Ad-visor and part-time manager! After training and everything goes well and I work as an LGA for a little, they'll bump me up to SGA (senior game ad-visor). I hope I do well!

 

Then I also start school October 24th. I'm taking online classes at Full Sail University to get my Bachelor's in Video Game Arts & Design. I'm so excited! But a little nervous too. I'm gonna try my best and when I have projects to do, I'll definitely share them if I can of my characters development and everything.

 

So I might not be on here as much starting a little later this month. But I'll definitely keep updating and posting whenever I can!

Thank you so much!! I hope I do well. I'm a little nervous, but I'm trying not to doubt myself so soon and just stay positive and just have fun with it! One of my favorite quotes is, "Nothing is ever accomplished without dedication, doubt and fear of failure."

Make sure you sell subscriptions and make reserves at GameStop. I worked there and if you don't sell subscriptions or have a lot of reserves then you can get in trouble or written up. I doubt it'll happen to you, but just stay positive and have a have knowledge of a variety and games and game consoles and you'll be fine, not really that hard to work there and congrats on your job!

Cricket, luckily I don't have to do that part lol That's more of the people around me that do that job. I'm going to be the part-time manager which means I'll be dealing with handling/counting money, shelving/organizing, helping customers, shipment orders, doing pocket checks when co-workers leave and stuff like that. I still need to know games and systems, but fortunately I already do (they tested me lol). They told me I won't need to sell anything to keep my job, although I should do it anyway. I used to sell retail for commission at one place, so I'm pretty experienced. And thank you!!
