I'm sure that there is a thread like this one out there somewhere, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so sorry ahead of time for those that know where the thread is. Moving on, I find it interesting that Xigbar/Braig has gone through what he has gone through in terms of the deal he has made with Master Xehanort. I don't think that a deal is worth losing an eye, let alone being stabbed in the chest by a Keyblade. (I have seen the KH3D vid, since I'm sure if that turns him into a Nobody, that's up for debate) I find it crazy that Xigbar/Braig is willing to go through so much abuse just for a deal that he made with MX. Thoughts and opionons concerning this topic.

Fear.

i hate him im soooo happy terra shot his eye out, yet at the same time cause hes so crazy hes kinda cool hes gotta have some reason behind his involvement i wouldn't be surprised if he tried to kill xehanort in the end

I don't know but he deserved it. Man I love Terra so much.

I think braig will play a bigger role then any one could imagine he and vanitas have my vote for the villian to take xehanort's place

What braig is my fav character he didn't deserve to lose his eye lol

Now that I think about it makes me think of braig as even more formidable exlcuding getting his eye shot out look at all he has willingly gone along with to gain power? just make you wonder how far would you go?

tutti frutti. If I lost my eye in a battle I would have to draw the line right there. There couldn't possibly be any deal that is worth cutting your eyesight in half, let alone going through all that mess. Whatever deal that was made between Xigbar/Braig and Master Xehanort must have been outstanding in order to take so much punishment and still stick with the guy.

I think he wants to be in second position in "any possible" new world order Xehanort could create. Perhaps he had a good sense that Xehanort could achieve that so he stuck close to him. In the Org, he shows that he's quite comfortable in that position. So I think its for power and not to make enemies with a possible formidable opponent.

Braig is one crazy dude. Don't forget that.

tutti frutti. There's not a thing in this world that can make me even consider disagreeing with you on your comment. Braig is definitely one crazy dude.

I think Braig did it because he just wanted power. He didn't want to be a normal human gunslinger forever. Thus Xigbar was born.

tutti frutti. I'd more so like to see him use MX in order to obtain Kingdom Hearts and in turn backstab MX in the end. I for one would have to draw the line if I lost my eye, let alone any part of my body. It's hard to imagine a deal being that good, and to go through all of that punishment, in order to see in through to the end.

I think it is probably very obvious that the deal had to do with Braig having some sort of power when Xehanort won. Also, Braig allowed himself to get really close to Xehanort, so a defiance wouldn't end well in any way for Braig; this fear is evidenced pretty blatantly when he tries standing up to Xehanort the first time in BBS, after he loses his eye. It's pretty obvious that Braig still things Xehanort still has the upper hand, and he already chose sides before losing his eye. . . Changing sides would be a bit difficult after that first battle, even :P

So it seems that Braig's desire for power, and fear of both sides, causes him to stick with Xehanort. It is a little too late for him to be neutral anyway :3
