Yup, Mr. Obama is getting them back to the states. Let those guys worry for their own problems, we have an economy to fix anyways.

Believe me, I would love to disagree with you on this, but I can't. That is, unfortunately, how things stand.

 

I know, I hate it too but hating it and wishing it were different will do absolutely nothing. Some people think the troops leaving means peace. That's not the case at all. There will never be peace there. It's sick and sad and I really wish it were different, but I see it for what it actually is. That's the reality and saying "I want peace. There should be peace." will NOT make it happen because that's not what they want. There is no talking or negotiating. They just want to wipe us off the face of the earth. Letting out guard down is something we can't afford.

 

Bin Ladden, Huessain and now Qadaffi (sp?) being dead is a good thing, however, do you really think they died without a plan? No. They left their clones and followers plans. They left them instructions. It's "quiet" right now, but once those new leaders rise, they'll attempt to attack again which is why it's crucial to always have our guard up.

It's basic math. Personally, I think for every American citizen killed, the perpetrator must loose 1000 of their own citizens. Does it make us any better than they are? YES! Because you will always be better than something that gets wiped off the face of the earth.

We never liked those people, we supported them until our interests, or their interests change. That's how alliances work buddy, nobody seems to criticize Germany for training American troops during the revolution, and then fighting them in both world wars. Speaking of the revolution, nobody seems to give a damn that Britain is the United State's strongest ally.

 

Plus oil is very important, actually it's life. 2 to 3 billion people on earth can only exist due to oil. Until another power source that is as efficient comes along, we need oil, and it just so happens that the most unstable countries on the planet are sitting on top of the largest amount of oil that we can tap into. I say we should take all of it now, stop letting Saudi kings get rich while their people starve.

I know what Stigmatization theory is, it's a phrase that people use so they sound smart while they accuse people of stereotyping. We're not "stigmatizing" entire nations. It's one thing to say that a country is nothing but a bunch of people constantly shooting at each other, it's another thing when it's true. Sorry that the world isn't the happy care-free place that we all want it to be. God help you when wars are no longer fought over politics, but for survival. I hate to be that guy, but if we don't find a way to replace oil completely, we'll either be starving or hiding in bomb shelters in our life times.

I didn't quote cuz i hate big blobs of text to be quoted. And what you don't get is that your attitude is what causes an anti-American attitude overseas. Yes, in Europe too. And to say that you're better than other countries is the saddest thing anyone can say (about any country, by the way). If America were to disappear, yeah, we would be in trouble, since it owes the rest of the world tons of money. If Saudi-Arabia wakes up tomorrow and says: "You know what, we like Euros better than Dollars", America would go down. Simple as that.

The debt is caused by frivolous spending, a small percent of it actually belongs to other countries, and we can always tell them to screw off and we're not paying the debt. What are they going to do, go to war with the most powerful nation on earth?

 

The USA isn't called the bread basket of the world for nothing buddy. If we were to stop exporting food hundreds of millions if not a bit over 1 billion would starve to death. And history has proven that Europe seems to be incapable of defending itself from the armies of dictators whether it be French, German, or Russian. And lets not forget that America has helped rebuild countries damaged by natural disasters more than any other.

 

Saudi Arabia can't do that, they have a small, poorly trained military using hand-me-down US equipment from the 80s. There's a reason why we have to stop them from getting invaded all the time. If they decided to stop selling us oil that's fine, actually that would be better, we could just roll the tanks in and take all of it.

 

Plus Saudi Arabia doesn't provide a lot of Oil to the US anymore, Canada is actually the number one supplier at the moment and there is a shitload of oil in Alaska that is being saved for emergencies.
