Top Ten saddest deaths/slash episodes in Naruto

Posted

10. Asuma

Who wouldn't be sad for Asuma? He never got to see his child, or lover, ever again. To top it off, he was revived, and died AGAIN! (sealed.)

9. Hidan

I wouldn't say you had to love his character, and felt sad when he died. Just the fact that he could have been great, though, made you sad, (And he's buried underground)

8. Chiyo

Giving up her own life force to revive one of Naruto's biggest jerk, Gaara. Ouch.

7. Sasori

This explains itself. No parents, and having to control puppets for battling. Sad.

6. Third Hokage

This was really sad. Although you didn't get to know him for long, it truly broke your heart when he died

5. Konan

This was just sad. Killed by Madara just so he could get Nagato's Rinnegan. I will hate you forever, Madara.

4. Deidara.

Had so much more to give, and what did he do? He blew himself up, and failed, too.

3. Nagato.

All he wanted was peace. Sure, he used extreme measures to get there, but he still wanted peace.

2. Minato

I don't want to even talk about this, it was so damn sad when you saw it.

1. Itachi/Episode 138 of Shippuden

Don't even have to prove how sad this is. You just wanted to go in there and choke Sasuke to death. And it didn't help that Madara chose to tell Sasuke the truth about Itachi AFTER the battle

-Runner ups-

Obito

Jiraiya (just didn't have room)

Haku

Zabuza

Uchiha clan, specifically Mikoto

I wasn't the least bit affected by any of this, I'm a true Madara/Tobi fan all the way. The only one was Itachi, I did actually cry for him. He's my second favorite character, and died for his beloved little brother. The flashbacks really broke my heart there, and even Sasuke cried.

10) Deidara

~ Not sad at all, but just really badass.

9) Chiyo

~ Again, I didn't find it sad, but it was still pretty touching.

8 ) Konan

~ Pretty sad when it shows their cards in their old HQ. Also, I was hoping to see more from her character.

7) Haku Yuki

~ Not really that sad to me, but the entire scene made it pretty sad to watch.

6) Zabuza Momochi

~ Pretty sad when he starts crying and stuff. A really good ending for his character.

5) Hiruzen Sarutobi

~ This was probably the first really sad death in the series.

4) Asuma Sarutobi

~ Also really sad. At least in the original manga. The edited versions and the anime lessen in with the censoring of his cigarettes and such.

3) Minato Namikaze & Kushina Uzumaki

~ Really sad. Can't wait to see it animated.

2) Jiraiya

~ Now this was really sad. UN Storm 2 made it even MORE sad, so if I rated that version, it'd be 1st place.

1) Itachi Uchiha

~ The saddest. You know it's sad if it makes Sasuke cry.

Chiyo was my saddest one

10. Jiraiya

I'll admit that he wasn't my favorite character, but the death was sad.

9. Deidara

This wasn't really sad, but I liked Deidara. He was my second favorite member of Akatsuki.

8. Uchiha Clan Massacre

I know, I know, it was what had to be done because of what they had been planning, but... the entire Clan? It was just depressing, the way it was displayed...

7. Asuma Sarutobi

That was pretty sad... now he'll never get to see Kurenai or his child again! D:

6. Zabuza Momochi

It was sad, yet his ending was just... perfect. I'm glad they at least got to die in peace. :)

5. Chiyo

Recently saw this one again, and it left me depressed for the rest of the day. So noble...

4. Haku

He sacrificed himself for Zabuza! And his whole childhood... that episode REALLY made me depressed.

3. Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki

They... it's just too sad for words. D:

2. Hiruzen Sarutobi

WHYYYYYYYY?!

1. Itachi Uchiha

...Enough said.

The only one that touched me was Uzumaki Kushina and Namikaze Minato's deaths. Yes, the other ones were sad, but mostly my heart was shouting "Hell YES! One more down! *starts counting how many Akatsuki members/other enemies are left*" Naruto doesn't have much of what someone would say a "sad death".

How could you? You weren't affected at all by Itachi's death?

Not really... Itachi's death was already coming and, after giving so many hints throughout the whole series of Naruto and the first half of Shippuden, the whole "Itachi death" thing just lost all the magic... The fight was cool though.
