Rai got back up and looked at catelus. "and you know what they say about being over confident." he said with an evil smile as he held up his hand to reveal a poison green ring that hand poisonous aura releasing from it. "take it easy on that sword arm of yours" he said as a black skull marking appeared on catelus's shoulder.

"Catelus...!" I yelled. "What if he becomes dark to?" I thought. I was than about to fly away again but I knew if I did that I would be plunged into darkness forever. I than had that nasty felling in my stomach. I could not think about anything but crying. So I could not help myself. I than brought the uncounsious angel, still crying, into theh builiding and lied her down in one of the rooms. Then in rage I left. I stopped crying and swooped up into the air. My feathers landed on the ground but were going everywere. I flew off not knowing were I was going and than I remeberd. I was out of energy. I could not fight and I could not go back to help Catelus. I turned around and when back to the town. I flew up to a very tall building and sat there. Trying to figure out what to do next.

Rai looked at Caelitus wit a grin "oh dont worry the worst hasnt even started" he said "Thats poison straight from the living hell of oblivion itself! The worst part hasnt even began! In about 7.8 minutes that arm will begin to have a burning sensation. In 10.4 minutes it will feel like 30 wasps just stung you. Then in 13.6 minutes the feeling will spread down that arm to your elbow. In 16. 2 minutes the arm will begin to lose feeling. In 20.0 minutes your whole arm will be immobilized and out of uses for 24 hours" said Rai with a smile.

 

Air glared at Rai "You bastard! You used the Poison of Oblivion!" he yelled

 

Rai looked at him and the yellow ring glowed. Then a bolt of electricity shocked Air "shut up"

Blaise shot an arrow at Rai's hand. " You haven't forgotten about me now have you?" She said in a mockingly sweet tone. She strung another arrow this time aiming as his chest. " Don't you think im going to forget how you have ruined my entire day, now you've gotten me all grumpy." Blaise was on the edge she had enough of Rai and was seriously considering trying to kill him.

Rai pulled the arrow out of the palm of hishand. "interesting. So im fighting a poisoned swordsmen, an injured archer, and my half dead ego. Well this will be fun and ill start with you!" he said as the green ring glowed and he pulled out his knife. It radiated the poison energy and he rushed at blaise.

 

Suddenly At the last minute Air got infront of Rai's attack and took the poison instead of Blaise. He immediatly fell. "quickly get out of here, Blaise!" yelled Air

"Your such an idiot." She said ctaching him before he hit the ground. She set him carefully and looked back up glaring at Rai. " You'll pay for that." She growled gaining strength from her own rage and pain. She strung another bow ready to dodge his next attack. She aimed at his chest and let the arrow fly.

Rai dropped with the arrow in his chest "oh my god! How how did you hit me! Oh god im think im dying." yelled rai. Then he fell and the body dissolved into a dark smoke. But the poison marks stayed.

Blaise finally felt the effects of her injuries and sank to her knees holding her bow limply in her hand. " Is he gone?" She wondered outloud her vision more blurred than ever. Blaise closed her eyes hoping it would go away soon, the ringing in her head got louder and louder. " Just.. make it stop!" She whined holding her head and squeezing her eyes shut.

Air looked at blaise "Blaise!" he slowly got up and crouched down to blaise. "Blaise its ok. Im pretty sure he is gone. But hold still im going to try to get help ok?" he said to her. <he isnt gone that wasnt rai> he thought

Blaise whimpered a responce. Hes gone he has to be gone Air said so he is gone gone gone. She thought trying to keep her mind busy while she crouched on the ground holding her head like it might explode. Note to self, never get hit in the head ever again.

Caelitus went to his knees and bowed his head. He prayed silently his face calm and peaceful. The marks Rai placed on him slowly faded from his arm. Once they were gone, Caelitus said amen and stood up. He took in a deep breath then ran over to Blaise and Air.

"Poison such as this feeds on mental termoil and negative emotions." He said to Air. "Do the opposite and it will help."

He looked at Blaise.

"I didn't see if you got hit, so happy, hopeful thoughts for you too."

He put a hand on Blaise's arm. A little bit of light went through Caelitus's hand into Blaise.

"That should help start the healing process, though I doubt it will do it all."

"its ok ill be fine. Im the type to take my pain. Besides I deserve it for letting Rai get into my head." said Air. <they cant know that rai lives. oh wait shit Lay can read minds! i cant think about rai when im near Lay. i got to remember that!> he thought as he slowly got up. and his wings glowed and when the light died they werent burnt. "lets get back to the others"

Blaise stood up and sighed the pain in her head dulled. " Do we even know where they are? Oh wait! They could be at that shop...." She started her words trailing off into thoughts. Unless they got into some sort of trouble.

"Then we find them." Caelitus said calmly. "Whether they are in trouble or not, we'll find them and help them."

He started walking off in a direction with an air of noble purpose. He then paused a moment, thought a moment and returned to Blaise and Air.

"Sooo, where could they be?" He asked with an embaresst smile on his face.

Blaise supressed a laugh then thought a moment. " U have an idea... but its this way." She said pointing down the opposite street. " Cynthia and I found an old shop earlier she might still be there. " Blaise offered looking over at Air.

"dont know when i broke from rai he was the one with the scan ability hut now hes dead so yeah" said air

I laughed on top of the building. It was a completely emotionless laugh. I hoped off of the building and went into the stolen building. There were small mats in the rooms so I lied down. Then, I slowly fell asleep to regain energy. My wings of black and grey were rapped around me.

I sigh. "I they're around here somewhere....Oh wait I hear footsteps!" I exclame. "Really?" Asks Ty. I nod. "Hmmmm. That way." I say pointing in the direction Air and the rest was coming from.

Caelitus nodded. He had seen Blaise supress a laugh, so maybe that helped brighten her mood if only a little bit.

"Well then, let's check it out." he said. "We can also check the hideout in case a few have made it back there."

My dream was horrid, Rai was there. He was looking at me with his deathly eyes. Then all of my friend. Lay,Blaise,Caelitus, Air and the others. They were fallen down below him, uncouinsouis. I was still the only one left. But I was quickly, dying down into darkness. But then It all seemed to go away. And my dream was now dreamless.

Jewel awoke screaming! Then she looked around "w-where am i?" she said "what is this place?"

Air looked up but then clutched the skull marking on his chest. "damn." he said as he looked at Caeltius <Ive thought the thoughts he said would counteract the poison but nothing. wait a minute. the poison. damn, he didnt use the poison of oblivion on him he used it on me> he thought. "where is everyone."
