A PC is an unnatural environment for pokémons to live. Like you said, you never feed them, you never play with them, and you hardly glance in their direction. They surely hate you for putting them in a "cell".

And do you think that pokémons like to battle and lose parts of their bodies against other pokémons, "just for some fun"? I agree that some pokémons like to fight others, like for example Fraxure, but it is unnatural.
